Really like the quality of service and care I receive. I have sensitive skin and have had allergic reactions before based upon technique the artist uses. I have been coming to Emme for a year now and have not had problems with my eyes or skin. Things are clean and I feel satisfied after appointments. I've been going to Emme since day 1 but I'm so glad they opened a location in South Boston (much closer to home for me). There's street parking, I have never had problem finding parking. The salon is very clean and staff always so friendly. I have cycled through different technicians hoping to find the best one but the result comes out amazing every single time. Techs were very helpful in helping me decide what style I would like and took the extra time to make sure I'm satisfy with the result. I've gotten full sets and fills with them, both natural and extra volume. I'm obsessed with it every time! My extensions still look amazing even after 3+ weeks and there were no eye irritation. Looks like they deleted my original post. Shady! I've been coming to Emme for the last 6-7 months and had been a good customer. Few things. They get very sensitive and blame the customer if the lashes don't stick. That's what happened each and every time and I tried to brush it off but someone can only get insulted so many times. Having a lash artist do your lashes and complain about retention and blame you bc they didn't stick is so borderline abusive. Sorry but no other way to describe it. If I cut your hair badly, would I blame you for a bad hair cut? No. Take responsibility. So I came in today and another customer came in and was complaining about her lashes. My artist left me multiple times to attend to her while I was lying in a bed with my eyes taped shut. When she finally came back, I calmly told her that she should have apologized for leaving me multiple times and that I was her customer. She bristled and sarcastically said I'm sorry - the other girl working doesn't speak good English so I had to help out. I'm sorry but that's inappropriate and racist. When I was finished with the appointment, she told me I needed to find another artist because I had horrible retention and didn't think it was fair for her to have to redo my lashes each time. I'm sorry isn't that what I'm paying for? When I called the manager to share my story, she seemed disinterested and could care less. She offered me $20 off my next appt. I booked my appointment i went to the shop and it was closed and the staff didn't tall me they were closed that day and I had already went and it was to my surprise and I had to call and reschedule then a few days later I went to my appointment and had to wait a long grace period until she was done with her previous client , the lashes kept coming off as the days went by. read more
