Very disappointing customer service today. I ordered carry out and they messed up the order, but I didn't realize until I got home. When I called to get it cleared up they offered for me to come back and get my missing sides for FR3E(even though they were already paid for) or I could come back another time and they would have a gift card waiting for me. I asked how about I come and get my sides that I paid for and I get the gift card for ten dollars (less than they originally offered), to cover my inconvenience. They originally said they couldn't do it, not sure why, but then changed their mind. When I drive the 15 minutes there, they gave me my side and sauce and said there was nothing else they could do for me. I walked out very mad and told them I couldn't believe how terrible of customer service they offer and how much they inconvenienced me. Very sad and very disappointing that people mess up and don't care to fix their mistakes. I could have went off and talked to a manger but instead it is worth writing a terrible review so everyone knows!!! To top it off I gave a nice tip for carry out!! Each day they have a special like taco tuesday or what not and this place we got some. nachos and a chicken cesar salad wrap and it was really good. even though it's a little pricy they do give you a good amount of food. A brewery with pretty good food. It's what one would expect of a local brewery, minus the pretentiousness of the trendier over-hyped other ones around. This is a more casual atmosphere with a decent enough selection of beers for a non-connoisseur occasional only beer drinker like myself. The die hard beer aficionados and IPA snobs may disagree, but, being neither, I couldn't care less. The food is decent and reasonably priced, for what it is, and I've never had a bad experience. For some reason, I find the pizza to not only be consistently the best thing on the menu, but also the best pizza for the price around! Weird, I know, but it really is surprisingly good! Thick or thin crust doesn't seem to matter - it's just really good pizza! For about half the cost of Buddy's, it's every bit as good, if not better! read more

Got the Eddie signature burger and was extremely pleased with the food. The quality of the burger meat was outstanding and the burger was very flavorfull. This place is 1 minute from our house and we so want to love it but... First I have found the front of house staff rude on several occasions, in particular twice when calling for a carry out. Last time the girl was completely unfamiliar with the menu. Every question I asked had to be relayed to another person. Very unprofessional. I understand she might be new, but then do not put her on carry out orders. I also find they are very ridiculous about subbing out items/ingredients. My sister even told me that instead of a kids pepperoni pizza she wanted only mushrooms - and they charged her for the "extra" topping which wasn't extra at all! Food is decent quality bar food. Great little brewery. They always have good variety of beers to choose from. If you are local and may visit often, the Mug Club is a good deal. I'm not going to lie, the best thing about this place is that they give you a real good size strip of paper towel in the bathroom. CJ's is probably the only restaurant in the country where a single paper towel is enough to dry your hands. Bravo, CJ's, bravo! Stopped in here to meet a group of our friends for drinks after work. Our server was attentive at first and we had a cycle of people coming and going after a bit, but once things settled down, and it was just the two of us, we decided to order food. They have a nice selection of beers, but the beers they brew themselves are just okay. Thanks to our check in, we received free chips and salsa which was nice! We ordered the chicken caesar wrap and the classic club. The portions are ample and our food was good- nothing extraordinary but very good. Ordered Nachos to share with my Grandson...these were not the Nacho's I remembered for years. I ordered a Strong Scotch Ale and got a beer that I could see through and had no taste...Jens reply maybe a new batch...I was a regular diner at CJ's Brewery, a member of the Mug Club for a very long time. This is a good go-to bar. The atmosphere is pretty basic-- random kitschy decor, sports on every tv, bar staff in matching T-shirts: The service is amazing though. Their IPA is very good and I get it every time. I also love the sweet potato fries :) In general, a good place for the price. The very best brewery in this area, hands down. Beers are always solid (however, need to keep up with demand and flavors of the season), food is effing awesome, even after the menu redo, and staff are excellent (thx Dave!). I'm here probably once to thrice a week because it's close and I love it. I will forego eating during the day just to ingest a small square, well done pizza of my choosing and my mug club membership ale. This place can really do no wrong. My only issue is the lack of ingenuity when it comes to beers and when they come out. Never have a pumpkin at Fall, their winterbrew is a rip off of their summerbrew, and never enough ryes or pales for this guy. But I manage to find something good no matter what. I love this place. Oh and their lifetime mug membership is dirt cheap compared to others; and way more rewarding. They also have a loyalty card! Dear Tyler (asst mgr), Since our phone conversation was interrupted by a bad connection on your part, I thought I'd give you the rest of the information here. You can "do with it what you will"...I don't want anything more to do with your place. As I told you on the phone, I've been picking up carryouts from your place EVERY SINGLE SUNDAY NIGHT, for about 5 months now. You seemed to be familiar with at least some of the story (your comment about extra mustard on my burger). What I don't think you appreciate is that I'd say 80% of the time there was some sort of problem with the order (no condiments, wrong stuff etc). And I'd say 100% of the time the order was not ready...so i was waiting for it...100% of the TIME! I've honestly never met a crew which was so completely incompetent in my entire life. I thought they only worked at the US Post Office. My mistake!! About 4 weeks ago, they pulled something (I honestly forget..they've screwed up so many things) and I decided, "That's it...no more!" In those 4 weeks, I've gone to Uptown Grille 3 times, and The Lakes Grille once. No drama; my order is waiting for me (on time); no waiting on the phone (your place keeps people on hold for days), and the order is right. Probably why Uptown Grille is serving 10 times the number of people as your place. By the way, the food is better. It might be a buck or two higher, but I could care less. Please thank your staff for finally pushing me out the door. I now have nice, calm Sunday evenings..with no drama surrounding my dinner. read more

Went tonight , i get they are short staff ordered sliders not only where they burnt the buns had mold on them , the server said they took photos to tell their DM . We never even received a drink we ordered , Large party's where there and we watched people sit down not get served they catered to the large party's .. They should not take people if they do not have help and not even the manager came to ask any questions or offer anything .. I placed a carry out i was dropping to someone pizza was not cooked they had to throw in the oven .. Short staff , They don't rotate food to serve moldy bread the place looks very dirty .. Anyway I had the fajitas (steak) and was skeptical but other items I have had are pretty good burgers and the soft pretzels with cheese dip are really good, so I figured I would give them a try, was I pleasantly surprised..!! Or the steak medium which came out perfectly medium, and light peppers which it came out that way also, but the steak was VERY good, nicely seasoned VERY tender, definitely will be back to try the steak the heat is again and hopefully they will be made exactly the same tender and nicely seasoned. Had a lunch meeting at CJ's today and enjoyed it. Place has a great blend of IPA's, specialty brew like Peach Saison, and several others. Chief brew master JT says he tries new recipes all the time and he's good and knowledgeable. Food was spot on. Try the chili & ask for extra onions. This is my first 5-star review! Why? Because the food and beer were absolutely fantastic! Try the jambalaya..,even if you're an expert. It is fresh and delicious. Plenty of everything (chicken, sausage, shrimp). I've eaten it in Louisiana and still liked it better here. The perfect amount of heat! The noise level is a bit high on Saturday nights...but that's just because everyone is so busy having a good time. We tried 4 beers and every one was delicious.
