I always visit CJ's when I come back to Westfield. I live in NYC and nothing stands up to a CJ's pepperoni slice.

Family owned, everyone was so friendly. Food was great, got a torpedo and pepperoni rolls, both delish!

Came here for an early dinner and had a very good experience overall. Our waiter was friendly and…read moreknowledgeable, and we started with the Maple Cream ale, 1 of 2 beers they make there. The giant pizza oven is part of the esthetic, so I ordered the Buffalo Chicken pizza which included smoked chicken on it, blue cheese crumbles and ranch. The pizza was good but it's the type of pizza where there's black soot on the bottom of the crust so it was messy to eat. Their menu is primarily pizza, burgers and sandwiches with a message that states "no substitutions", however they have a build your own pizza option as well.

We had been visiting wineries and were hungry. We were looking for a place to eat and stumbled on…read moreGrace and Abe's. The garage doors were open in the front of the building so we thought we would stop. As we walked up we saw a few people. And it smelled good. They have a large wood fire oven. So everything has the open wood fire smell. They were out of a lot of items which was very disappointing. They have a craft beer section but most of them were out. And a few menu items were also not available including the wings which I wanted. That is why the score. The hours of the place are only open 3 days so it seems they ran out and aren't going to replenish till next Thursday when they are open again. I guess we are on the backend of the day when they have limited selection. We got the pizza, and someone got the chicken ranch sandwich and a burger. We liked what we got. We also got some of the craft cocktails. It was good. I also have to compliment our server Catie. She was darling. We love her. She is so hung out with us and we had fun with her. She made the whole experience really good. Would I try this place again. Yes, Catie was darling and the food was good. Just disappointing that they didn't have a lot of items.

Ownership recently changed. Re-opened on May 1, 2026. Will re-eview as soon as we have enough…read moreinfo on current offerings. We ordered take out tonight, and there were some differences. First, the look of the pizzeria has improved greatly. From a fresh paint job inside and out, to new windows in the front, to a re-do of the layout, the place looks refreshed and inviting. There are two tables for eating in. There are some difference with the new owners. We wanted a small pizza, but they were sold out (because the demand from the first two days of being open again was so great). We were thinking small and large pizzas would be the same size as before, but the large pizza we got was a 16" diam., as opposed to the old 12". We also ordered an order of wings (10, the same as before), and asked for medium sauce on the side. The pizza sauce was sweeter than the former owners', so those who like the sweeter sauce that most Western New York pizzerias offer will enjoy that. We prefer a less sweet sauce, but this sauce was fine. We asked for light sauce, and there was still plenty of sauce. The pepperoni is now smaller, more "cup" pepperoni, but not as small as most that is offered in the region. The sweet peppers were pre-cooked before being cooked on the pizza, which is okay, but we prefer ours to be uncooked before being put on pizza. The dough was slightly thicker than before, and seemed tough when cutting slices, but it didn't chew tough. The pepperoni and peppers were generous. The cost was higher than before, but considering it is a larger pizza and probably chicken prices have increased dramatically in the period they've been closed, $46.10 probably wasn't out of line. We will certainly be back for more, and intend on trying much of their menu. It is good to have a local pizzeria once again.

You can tell nothing there is unique or home made. Wings was gummy like the oil it was fried in wasn't hot enough. Was there at the open of business and placed my order 1st but still had to wait over a half hour. DO NOT RECOMMEND

The night started with a dinner reservation for 6 people to celebrate our friend's masters school…read moregraduation. The only thing that went smoothly was ordering our drinks and appetizers. We didn't have a chance to put our dinner orders in at this point. We ordered entrees right before the appetizers came out, which took a long time anyway, and then immediately after our appetizers and salads came out. We then proceeded to wait over an hour for our food with an inattentive server, no apology, and no explanation. When we asked about our food, we still didn't receive any sort of explanation as to why it was taking so long. Then once we got our entrees, the server brought our check very quickly and condescendingly told us that she knew we were in a hurry...we weren't at the beginning of the night but by that point we were - it had been 2.5 hours since we sat down. By the end of the meal, our graduate splashed a small amount of sauce on her white dress and our server very rudely told her that she shouldn't have worn white to an Italian restaurant and then proceeded to make fun of her and say she needed a bib. The food was tasty but the overall experience of dining here unfortunately means we won't be return customers. We aren't unreasonable people and our group has jobs in the service and hospitality industry, we know there is a correct way to handle these situations and being unsympathetic and apathetic isn't it.

We discovered that many places are closed on Monday in town, but not Calarco's. We placed an order for pick-up and the service could not have been nicer. They even accepted plastic, unlike other establishments in town. Portions were huge, the rolls were warm and soft and savory, and that tomato sauce was unique, zesty, and something special. My wife had leftovers of her chicken piccata which she enjoyed; nothing was spared of my eggplant parm as I had to eat it all. Their homemade bleu cheese dressing I asked for with my side salad was so darn good. And to top everything off, we split their last slice of peanut butter pie which was truly an impressive gem. I have had many a pie or cake in fine dining restaurants, yet this particular pie was out of this world. Next time in Westfield, we will meet again, Calarco's.
