Living in Florida, I dream of Larry's Cantina until I can get back there! Best wings in WNY, hands down! They were not take cash, which I find kind of endearing, and if you forget, there are ATMs nearby! They fry, sauce, the grill their wings. They have a great array of wing sauces (medium is BBQ FYI- and it is delicious), but I like mine naked and extra crispy with sauce on the side. The people are kind and full of wit! I've been visiting Chautauqua Instituion since I've been less than 1 year old so I am very familiar with the food around the area. My family and I are huge wings fans and have tried just about every restaurant in the area. We all have the same conclusion that Larry's has the best wings in the area. The wings are absolutely delicious and we consistently order them for dine in and take out. All flavors are great but especially their special Bernies flavor which I highly recommend. All of the appetizers on the menu are top tier as well and you can't go wrong ordering any of them before you order your main dish. The environment inside is welcoming and fun and good for all ages. There is a bar set up and a family environment. I highly suggest this place if you're looking for the best wings in the area. read more

Love me some Larrys!! They have the BEST bartenders, owners, food, bands, beer and wings! Just to name a few. If you're ever in this beautiful little town, make sure you stop by here for a CHEAP cold beer. Whenever I buy a round in the town I live it comes to over $30 when I buy a round at Larrys it comes to half that. Try the wings or any of their food, you won't be disappointed. It is also very reasonably priced! From time to time they have bands perform here. They have a large pool table in the back Room, and darts in the front. Larry's is a classic small town dive bar. It's a worn space offering seats at the bar as well as high tables, a couple televisions for sportswatching, a jukebox, and a pool table. The servers were real nice and the crowd is full of regulars. I think there's live music from time to time. It's open late; I believe they take food orders until ~11:30 pm. As for the wings -- It's true -- they are phenomenal. I'm told it's because they're fried, then baked/broiled. Whatever it is the folks at Larry's do, the wings are delicious. Also, the burger was very good. The beers are cheap; I think my Yuengling was about four bucks. If you're in Westfield, you should stop by this place. It's an area mainstay. A friend suggested we head to Larry's to try their wings. He hadn't been there yet, but had heard they were the best around. One Saturday, late afternoon, we decided to try it out. When we arrived at the location, at first we weren't sure if it was even open anymore. It looks like an old bar that has been closed down for years. My 8 year old said the "Larry's" sign outside looks like an old motel sign. We were tired and very hungry so we gave it a shot. It's not what you would call a restaurant per say and it's definitely not for families. It's most definitely a bar and it's a local crowd. You won't find the usual seasonal tourist groups here, which suited us just fine. Their menu is located on the wall by the bar and that's where you place all of your orders....there is no table service here. We have been here several times now and the bar staff is always friendly. Larry's is famous for it's wings and we saw lots of folks coming in to pick up take-out orders of wings the whole time we were there. There were many of the usual wing sauces that you normally see at wing joints. You can mix together any combination of sauces that they have. The bartender suggested to try what they call the "Special Bernie" sauce. The Special and the Bernie can be ordered separately, but she told us they are best together. And was she right! The Special is a hot sauce and the Bernie is an Asian style sauce. When mixed together, the Bernie tempers the Special so that they make a wonderful combination. The other thing that makes this particular style of wing so special is that they are grilled. The flavor is grilled perfectly into the wings. A friend of ours ordered the medium Buffalo wings and they were not grilled, they were the typical wet sauce we are used to when ordering wings. However, we had another order of Medium Garlic and they were grilled, so I guess it all depends on the particular sauce you get. They also have a variety of other bar-type foods on the menu like fries, cheese sticks, mini tacos (my daughter's favorite) and several different sandwiches. The prices are extremely reasonable! However, make sure you bring cash. They DO NOT take credit cards. Luckily there is a bank with an ATM around the corner. You can come here and enjoy some local flavor, play some pool or darts, have a few beers and eat some of the best wings around. Not a bad way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon. read more

Let me first say, we love dive bars and visit them whenever we can because they usually have great food and staff. We eat out A LOT. However, "Mrs. Larry" is not pleasant or welcoming and made our whole experience bad. We tried talking to her about different things on numerous occasions, just making small talk, and she wanted nothing to do with us. Mind you, it was 3pm on Friday and we were the only ones in the bar. In order to get food, we had to order buckets of wings, not just one order. Thankfully, the wings are big, meaty and tasty which is a plus. But if you have unhappy servers/staff/owners, you don't have a great business in my opinion. read more

We like this local spot. The wings are great, service sometimes a bit slow, but the beer cold and atmosphere comfy and casual.

Taste the wood char on that! This is a great spot to bring a table full of friends and/or family. Maybe not exactly child friendly, but it is quiet and friendly. I've had no problems carrying on group conversations at the high stool tables. Neighborhood pub is the best way to explain this favorite watering whole for locals. New guests are welcomed warmly, just know to place your food orders at the bar. I often travel with groups of well informed consumers of chicken wings, and Larry's wings are always met with praise from even the most discerning in the bunch. Aside from the wings I enjoy the perogies (which you can get with any wing sauce) and the fish sandwich...pizza logs are good (and apparently a local delicacy my out of town friends tell me). If you are looking for candle light, linen table cloths and fine wines, Larry's is not for you. If you are looking for the best wings in Western New York as well as cold draft beer, friendly people and an affordable check, give it a try. This is a bar food establishment and some of their other REALLY good food items in addition to their wings are their 1/2 pound angus cheese burgers, fish sandwiches and check for the homemade soups (not always available). ALL wonderful. The owners are VERY friendly as are the mostly local clientele. Not really a kids restaurant, but they are certainly welcome here. If you are visiting the area and want the best wings around and to rub shoulders with the locals, Larry's is for you! read more

If you love chicken wings, then stop at Larry's. You will not find a place in town, or in the area, that does wings as properly as Larry's does.
