CK Nails took me and my 84 year old stepdad on very short notice. He had never had a pedicure before and very much needed one, but he was a bit embarrassed / shy to do this. The staff was wonderfully welcoming and professional. They asked my dad what color nail polish he wanted and we all laughed! We both enjoyed the attention, wonderful massage and accurate nail job they did for us. We'll be repeat customers and will spread the word! read more

While in Sedona, AZ I wanted to get my nails done - mani and pedicure and all salons I have looked at are very expensive and I came across this one. I walked in and made an appointment the same day. All staff were friendly and the salon was clean. I was helped right away as soon as I walked in. I cannot remember the person who helped me but she was good though she hardly spoke English, she still tried to have conversation with me. The moment I walked into CK I was greeted with a 'hello' by a nice man. I had made an appointment with 2 of my other good friends. We chose our nail polish & were quickly assisted. The thing that made me chose one star was the fact that I asked the lady who was doing my (acrylic) nails for a certain shape, one of my friends was sitting next to me & once I asked the lady, "I was wondering if you can do this shape of nail" the lady who was assisting me looking at her coworker & they said something in Chinese or whatever & they laughed at me. Literally LAUGHED at me. I was taken aback by their sudden burst in laughter on their customers question. I did not feel comfortable from that moment on. My friend sort of looked at me after & was kind of like "hat just happened" I felt it was very rude & unnecessary for the two lady's to laugh at a customers question but I stayed quiet. When the lady did everything else she started shaping them, surprising I know, & when she was finished they looked okay. Last thing I wanna say for this review is once I walked out of that salon I was not happy. I looked closely & saw that my nails were horribly done! My thumb nail is half filed. They look very messy & not worth $30, I'd rather buy glue ons from Walgreens. I'm very disappointed & will not be going back anytime soon or in the near future. read more

Love CK nails!!! Friendly, fast, no frills pedi. Needed a mani/pedi for a wedding in Sedona but didn't have time to get one before we arrived. With all the other expenses of the weekend, didn't want to pay $85 for a pedicure at the hotel or one of the hippie day spas nearby. CK nails was perfect solution. $25 for spa pedi---thats what I'm talking about! Added on the deluxe option with callus removal, two scrubs, and a masque for a mere $10 more. Mani was only $14. Staff extremely friendly. Definitely recommend calling for a reservation ---they honor your reservation even if there are walk-ins waiting (awesome). Linda did my mani pedi and she was great. Kelly, the owner, was honest that there was a wedding party already booked at the appointment time I requested and realistically I would be waiting a while if I came at that time. That was appreciated---most nail places would just pack people in on a Saturday morning and make them wait around. read more

I have been to CK nails for pedicures at least 2 dozen times, sometimes with my daughter or mom, sometimes alone. They are very inconsistent with the time and quality of service. I always make an appointment but even with as many times as I have been in they act like they have never seen me before. Not even a friendly welcome everyone should expect. This last time I was there for a pedicure Calvin, the owner, did the pedicure. The massage was the lamest I have ever had; gently up and down the calf, barely touched my feet and finished in about 3 minutes total. Of the pros and cons, you leave with clean feet, polished and clipped for $25.00 but nothing to be impressed about. The business gets good reviews I think because there are not many great options in Sedona. I often leave CK nails disappointed, vowing not to return. I am now on a search to find a salon that provides consistent quality service - probably one of the many day spas in the area. read more

I took my daughter here to get pedi's before my wedding. Neither one of us had one for a while and thought it would be a nice treat. I also knew that my feet needed it desperately and were going to require a little extra help. Well, the guy that did my pedi was constantly distracted by conversations with other people, had to be reminded to trim the cuticles on one foot because he overlooked it, never removed the calluses despite being asked to, started to put the polish on without wiping the oil and lotion off until I reminded him, didn't give me a flower even though I requested one because "he doesn't do flowers", and the whole process was done within 35 minutes! My daughters was just "okay" and they messed up her design and in trying to repair it, which they didn't, made another mess on another toe. Yeah, probably won't return there again. Prices were a little steeper than I'm accustomed to, but if the pedi was good, I wouldn't have cared about that at all. read more

While on vacation in Sedona, I wanted to get a manicure with gel nails. This place had some of the better prices in town so I decided to check it out. Overall, the manicure was alright along with a relaxing hand massage but I don't think $35 was worth what my nails ended up looking like. The actual products used were fine but my nail lady didn't get close to the end of my nails at all with the polish. After it was done there was about a centimeter of exposed naked nail. It has been less than a week and some of the nail polish is starting to peel away. I've never had gel nails before but from what I've heard it should stay up better. As for my nail lady, she was nice but not overly friendly, I had to start a conversation with her instead of the other way around. So hopefully my experience will help someone think twice instead of reading some of the reviews and expecting utopia as I did. read more
