I'm in Sedona for a long weekend and decided to get a spa pedicure. This was the quickest and sloppiest pedicure I ever received. I paid about $60 for a gel pedicure that was hastily done in 20 minutes. The lady clipped my nails, did a little cuticle trim, and slopped on some lotion. During this time she criticized the damage of a previous gel pedicure on my toes. Yes, this might be true but most customers don't want to hear that unless they ask! Worst job ever. I'll never be back. If you ask for a gel pedicure ask what's included first. If it's what I got then save your $60 and do it yourself. read more

Great place in Sedona for nails! So I desperately needed a pedicure, but when I called around people were either rude or just never called me back! I stopped by CK Nails and was taken right in and had excellent service. The price was reasonable too! A must if you are in Sedona and need a manicure and or a pedicure! read more

Pedicure was very messy, French very uneven, polish bubbled and nail polish left around my cuticle line. Manicure was OK however French again uneven and nail polish left on my skin. They also argued with me regarding how many coats I wanted. read more

The guy working the front desk set me up in the foot spa and was so helpful. The lady who did my pedi was amazing. Linda did such great job and was so nice. By Local standards I see this salon is rated highly. I can vouch for friendliness! I am spoiled :: I have an incredible salon near my home in the Silicon Valley that is absolutely top notch all the way: sanitary, small details, organized colors, etc. (And for the same price as this place.) But this salon was recommended to me so I thought I'd try it. I get pedicures every 2-3 weeks, especially in the summer. I always keep an eye on my calloused heels - and take care to not let them get out of hand. Imagine my surprise when the woman attending to my feet revealed an actual cheese grater and began to grate my heels. Wow, that was a first!!! Each trade has proper tools to use. I believe using those tools is a sign of professionalism. There are many, many ways to remove dead skin without using a cheese grater. Up to this point I thought that went without saying. read more

Walked in without an appointment needing three pedicures, two gel manicures, and one dip manicure. The salon was slightly crowded so I was worried they wouldn't have time for us. I got a mani-pedi and bikini wax here last week. I was able to make an appt a few hours before, but at the time, I just made it for the mani-pedi. When I got there I saw they did waxing and decided to get that done too - big mistake. For someone who gets waxed every month, this is by far the worst I have ever gotten. 30 minutes in (usually it takes about 20 minutes), I asked why it was taking so long. The woman was horribly inexperienced, trying different waxes and rewaxing the same area over and over again (like 7 or 8 different times). When I checked, it looked terrible, so I was more specific with where it needed to be cleaned up. All in all, it took a total of 45 minutes, was painful and was not even cleaned up. I was just on vacation in Sedona so I won't be coming back here again, but I would not recommend this place for waxing. The woman with the glasses is the one who did it. Also, she didn't do a good job cleaning up at the end and leftover baby oil ended up staining my pants. One-star for waxing. Luckily the mani-pedi was fine. They had 2 people working on me - a man to do my pedi and he was very nice, and the same woman who did my wax to do my hands. It's weird that they don't soak your hands though. I'm not even a week in yet so don't know how it will hold up longterm, but so far it looks pretty good. I was on vacation though, so wasn't washing dishes, etc. Something was off with the pricing though. I booked a mani-pedi ($25) and asked how much the Brazilian wax was before getting it (quoted at $35). Somehow I was charged $84 total before tip. I don't know if I misheard, but even if it was $45, that will still only equal $70. So value-wise, based on the service I got, I did not think it was good. I couldn't give them 3 stars because of the overall value and the horrible bikini wax. read more

I went on Monday to get a pedicure with my friend, & they did a great job on both of us! Both women gave us amazing leg & foot massages, I would definitely go back. In Sedona I didnt want to go to a hippie spa & was so happy to find this normal one. They charged $14 for a manicure and $25 for a spa pedicure, +$5 for french. read more

Ok Linda is where it's at!!! She is the best. She knows her colors and blending to come up with custom gel colors. She is very, very nice and seems genuine. And the speed with which she works is crazy fast but great quality. read more

I was able to make an appointment the same day with her and she did a great job. My nails look great, especially my cuticles, which needed a lot of work. I went there for a set of acrylics and I couldn't have been more disappointed. I had payed $40 and the lady did a sloppy job, she'd cut my finger, gotten the acrylic gel on my finger, and my nails may have been painted yellow but they were sheer and even gotten on my finger. It was only two day when one of my nails started coming of it had been a week and a half they all broke off. Called and asked if they had dip powder or sns and they said no. So I got gel since I had one broken nail and really needed to get my nails done anyway. The lady Anne did my nails was really nice but she really wasn't good. She filed the TOP of my nail beds which is a huge no no. Then she told me my nails were too thin ... well no shit you just filed the crap out of my nail bed. My nails are so thin now that they feel like breaking even with the gel on top. The kicker ... as I was leaving I saw another lady getting her nails dipped into powder. That was what really made me mad. I couldn't even notice exactly how thin my nails were until I was in the car because I was rushing to be somewhere. Will not return. I got a manicure and pedi here a few weeks ago .... Did it with the young lady at the front desk... think she was late 30s dark hair , Asain . But she didn't do a good job it was 42$ for here literally doing nothing to my nails except trimming them a bit she didn't even cut them and I left with dirt still under the nails . So it was rushes . The toes she also rushed but the nails were done extremely crappy . Like I do a better job doing my own at home . So I'd avoid going here .... Much less going here and booking the the younger Asian dark hair woman. read more

My experience was HORRIBLE. My friend and I came in for a full set and were told to hurry up picking our colors. I had to wait a full 45 minutes for my friend to finish before my nails were done. I sat down and she did not talk to me. She was SO RUDE. The language barrier was awful. She very roughly filed my nails. Before my nails were painted I had to pay. I was charged $35 for an acrylic set with regular polish.( charged extra for coffin) She told me "pay now" repeatedly but I did not understand her so I kept saying ok. Then she screamed PAY NOW. So I payed her. After my nails were done ( and were still wet) she yelled at me to go and get up. So I let my nails dry and did not tip her. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this salon. My nails also lasted me 1 WEEK without chipping/ breaking. 10 days after getting them done I had my pinky nail break. UNACCEPTABLE. read more

I was on vacation from Hawaii. My bf wanted to treat me to get my nails done so we chose this place bc we kept passing it by. I asked for a pedicure and I believe the owner, sets a station up and sits me down and tells me my nail tech will be with me shortly. I waited for about 5min before my nail tech started on my pedicure. I'm a nail tech myself at a luxury spa at a hotel that's one of the top 5 on TripAdvisor. I knew I wasn't gonna get a service at that level but I was expecting something decent. Here's what went wrong...she cut the sides of my nails to shape my toenails but doesn't completely remove them. I literally just pulled out a piece of nail that was sticking out of my skin scratching myself 2min ago. She files my nails without looking at the nail shape so I have some nails that are misshaped. When she got to the massage portion, she drizzled cuticle oil onto my legs then added lotion to the mix and basically mixed them together going up and down my shins like 5x before she did my other leg. Apparently, that was the massage portion and if you combine the time she spend on both legs, it didn't even amount to 1min. I was really disappointed because I had done some hiking in 3 different areas that day so I was looking forward to the massage. She didn't even touch the bottoms of my feet with lotion. She rushed through with the nail polish application and I can see she painted my cuticles and some of my toenails weren't even painted completely. You can see lines of where the top coat did not reach. She thought I was getting a manicure so when I told her I don't need one, she thanked me with relief bc she wanted to go home. I was her last client of the day. I still paid $25 for the pedicure but she didn't charge me for the $3 to cut my toenails. My boyfriend was bummed that I didn't enjoy my pedicure. read more

I went to Ck nails to get a pedicure. The woman was using the tool to take out dead skin from around the nails and I think she pulled out some new skin out. Now both of my big toes hurt really bad and I might have an infection. It hurts to walk and when I touch them it is so sensitive. It has been almost a week and they still hurt. I'm not happy. Moral of the story if you go to CK nails don't allow them to use that tool because they don't know how to use it. Or simply go to another nail place. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. read more

I'm a beauty snob, and get my nails done every other week, and my feet once a month, and travel enough that I'm always looking for a place. So this review counts. Kim did one of the very best mani/pedi I've ever had. The massage was short, but exquisite attention was paid to callouses, nail care and Polish application which is what I come to local little places for. If I was in it for the massage I would either pay extra for more time for massage, or go get a massage from a massage therapist. Kim provided perfect nail and skin care. I am a new resident to Sedona & this nail salon was highly recommended here as well on Next Door. I have had my nails manicured for years with the last two plus years while living in N Scottsdale. I have the dipping powder manicure every 3 weeks or so. I am not hard on my nails & rarely chip one. I first called this salon & requested Linda as she was the one everyone raved about. I was told I can not request a particular nail tech so I made an appointment & came in. I was assigned to a male, named Chris, who recently joined this salon. He was insulting & rude to me with an apparent lack of social skills. He kept telling me to relax, take deep breathes & that I am "difficult' to do. He even told me to appoint myself at the end of the day when they have more time! I have never, ever been told I was difficult rather that I am easy-going & capable of sitting back & having the professionals do their work. He was the one who was anxious maybe because he was new to the business. The manicure turned out horrible with uneven edges, thinner application of the dipping layers & within one week I had one chip because they were not done properly & then again another chip on another nail. I would NOT recommend him or this salon. FYI, I did go to another manicurist who did a beautiful job & it was a pleasurable experience. This is the first such negative review that I have ever posted so beware of the poor customer service & shabby quality of this place. Also I would give this review zero stars if I could. read more

20 minute pedicure, essentially no massage, just some oil rubbing on my leg. My nail tech had a scowl on her face almost the whole time. She barely rubbed my callouses. Visiting from Seattle, where I get at least 45 minutes for the same price with scrub, paraffin and a great Massage. Disappointing. read more
