I spoke to her about what I was looking for- she convinced me to try an organic gel polish that lasts longer than the regular (at least 3 weeks). It was a very fast service. I was then escorted out to pay without my pedicure. I spent so much money on my manicure that I let it be. And my manicure has already chipped and I'm only on day 6. In general I'm very disappointed because I have heard such wonderful reviews. It may be the type of salon that caters to its regular clientele. The filing was abusive, the way she kept shoving my feet up and down was abusive, and her scrubbing was just short of torture. I winced in pain the entire time and continued to pull my foot away from her whenever she hurt me. Other customers were just staring in shock. She never spoke to me, never bothered to make eye contact, kept wiping her nose on her sleeve and it was over in about 8 minutes. My feet are still raw and red. If you are in the service industry, I would think you would at least try not to injure your customers. I am not exaggerating for the web, she was brutal. As for going above and beyond and actually smiling at them, saying hi, well that would be too much to ask for here.
