It's in a cute area so I stopped in for lunch. When I got my check I was aghast at the prices: $6.50 for a Corona and $20 for a chicken quesadilla. We came here St Pattys day weekend on a Saturday afternoon and it was insane! Be prepared! There were hundreds of people there both in the bar and in the tenting that they'd put up outside. It was cool just crowded. They had multiple bars to order from and sausage sandwiches being grilled out front for 15$. We chose to go inside and order off of the menu. Service was swift considering the crowd. The margarita pizza was only mediocre and came out pretty cold. Wish I would've just gotten a sausage. I liked how they play premier league games as well! We've passed by here so many times and it's always been super packed. We decided to give it a try and it exceeded our expectations! As soon as we walked in I recognized Kevin and knew we were in for a treat. The drinks were very well priced, with lots of Sunday Funday options. There's tons of seats, both inside and out, with the option to dine upstairs as well. The star of the show were the wings, $28 for 30 wings! This was a great experience within Canton, Baltimore. I mean who can go wrong with an amazing deal on a Sunday. Been to the area many times but didn't hit this spot up as yet. We got some orange crushes to start with, which were only 7 dollars. They also had some dollar beers!! This had me going! Along side that they have espresso martinis for only 8 dollars. Claddagh Pub is probably the most decent place in Canton Square. It's a good place to watch games, and they have a cutie courtyard I used to frequent a lot during the pandemic for their rose - I think they may still do half bottle of wines but it's been a while since I came here for something other than watching sports. I was here most recently for the Copa America game and the backroom was SWELTERING but once we moved into the general area it was better with AC. It's been so hot this summer. The staff is so kind here and work hard - it's divey, not anything super nice. The wine options are quite basic, but they have a full bar and make a decent crush. Came by with some coworkers to get some lunch. It was okay. So with a name like Claddagh Pub, and lots of photos of Ireland, and loads of soccer on the TVs, we were expecting a menu with lots of Irish or Irish American foods. Alas, not really. The despite the whole Irish vibe of the place, it's really just a sports bar. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with that, we were just expecting something different from what Claddagh seemed to suggest. No Guinness stew, corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash or anything one might expect. The closest thing to Irish cuisine on the menu was an "Irish Reuben" which swapped out the sauerkraut for coleslaw. I tried a bite of my friend's, and it was alright. I opted for the Maryland Crab soup (note: they only serve bowls, no cups). It was flavorful and hearty. A number of folks opted for the home-fried chips instead of fries and said they were good. The bar has an okay selection of beers on taps - mostly domestic, but a few local brews. Prices for everything seemed fair. Our waiter was friendly, but a tad spacey and surprisingly slow (there weren't many people at 2:30 in the afternoon, but it did take him a while). Overall, it's an okay place, especially if you want some drinks and bar food while watching the soccer game. Other than that, not much to write home about. read more

Went here on a Thursday night and it was popping. What started out as a two-story sports bar for the Ravens game quickly turned into a dance bar on the second floor and chill pub downstairs. Because it's also $1 bud lights that night, flagging down a bartender can take a while but they were quick once you put your drink order in. This is a casual hangout for me and my homegirl whenever we're in the mood for Canton. We usually go crazy for the Honey Old Bay wings and calamari, but we stopped in tonight for their Wednesday night burger special ($7 w/fries, toppings are xtra charge). Been going to Claddagh Pub since 2017 on the weekends to watch EPL, usually on Sundays which would lead into Sunday Fundays. Food is good, specifically their wings and cheesesteaks. They have solid daily deals, $1 Nattys, $5 crushes, during NFL seasons they have a Bud Lite bucket/Wing deal that is great. Service is pretty good, we usually go with Drew who is hands down amazing. Came to Claddagh for a casual dinner with friends on a Friday evening before checking out other pubs in Canton. I wasn't expecting much from the dinner but it was surprisingly delicious! I ordered the black and blue swordfish off the chef's choice menu. The swordfish was cooked well and the blue cheese butter and caramelized onions on top made for a nice combination of rich and savory flavors with a touch of sweetness. The jasmine rice had some salt added to it (I usually eat plain jasmine rice, but the touch of salt was actually quite nice). The dish also included a generous helping of cooked baby arugula (much appreciated) that was also seasoned really well. If I had one complaint, the dish did become a bit salty towards the end just because everything was seasoned really well individually but together they might be overwhelming for some. The ambiance of the Claddagh is obviously not that of a fine dining establishment because of the pub setting right next to the tables, but the quality of the food and service is to be commended. read more

Food was decent but the place had no to go boxes, which wouldn't have been a problem if the service I received hadn't convinced me to close my check early and leave. In terms of bar food, Claddagh's is up there! The wings are pretty good vs. most places in Baltimore city. For $10, we got a pound of wings. The value is on par with most pubs, so no surprises there. The Thursday Night $1 beers is a deal and my friends and I take advantage of it the most we can. The atmosphere is fun, everyone is dancing, and for $10 you can get 10 Bud Light or Budweiser's. The bartenders and bouncers are ALWAYS so nice and fun, I've no bad experiences. Claddaghs is a great place to enjoy a drink post work, just to let lose, or enjoy a televised sporting event. There are plenty of TV's and seating and bartenders attentive enough to never let you be without a drink. The service was terrible, we were completely ignored. I saw and mainly heard the owner/ manger openly and loudly criticizing his employees. All of which, I will say we're doing a fine job.
