Great convenient restaurant inside the Nugget. I ate here everyday on my trip. The prices were reasonable and the food was good. Service was quick and attentive and its nice being right by the pool

Not the best ever not the worst. Pretty expensive and that's cause it's in a hotel so I think you pay a lot for convenience. Food tasted pretty good though, worth the price? Maybe. Service was great! Our waitress was so sweet and friendly! Inside is huge lots and lots of large party seatings, it was dead though haha. Barely anyone but it was like 3pm when we went. I think there are better places in Vegas though honestly. Great for a quick and easy dinner if you're staying at the golden nugget.

I was surprised to see Claim Jumpers still open. I remember going to one in California back in the late 90s.. I remember them from having one of the best bloody Mary back then. Last time I've been to one was in Tempe long time ago. We decided to try here for breakfast. Got coffee, biscuits and gravy, American breakfast, and side of stacked packages. I forgot they are known for large portion. Biscuits and gravy.... Well... Very plain but with sasauge was little better. But sasauge tasted like one of them link sasauge chopped up. American breakfast was OK, eggs were ordered over medium but had runny water or something on the bottom. Pancake was not bad, nothing special. Over all meal was not bad, definitely not coming back.

In the name of Claim Jumper, this restaurant might Claim this location as their most fitting place of business. Inside the Golden Nugget hotel alongside the Saltgrass Steakhouse. All of which share and uphold the nostalgic rustic westerner design. A contributing theme of the 1849 Gold Rush. Perhaps brought together by the reoccurring theme of challenges sucessful businesses share. Once any venture yields Gold, the real challenge is in protecting their stake. No pun on their deliciously preserved steaks. As I wonder and appreciate how their food is served continously fresh. Although some pun on the chosen name which defines those who illegitimatly attempt to occupy or steals the rights of other people's stake in land. A time when the west was wild with lawlessness. Prosperous people reqired special kind of protectors. A team of writers that worded and shared the prospectors story. Their promised rightfulness as well as the wrongdoings they were seved. A term known as 49ers or pony riders. I'm today's state of war, those willing volunteers are called journalists. There are currently 59 people. All of which remain in that special state. A term sometimes referred to as Prisoners of War.

Really super good service. We ordered the beef dip sandwich and my husband and I split it between each other. The bread was super soft to my liking. The onion rings were yummy and tasty. I think they sprinkled Parmesan cheese on the breading. We also ordered it with clam chowder and a Caesar salad and both were really tasty. But the part I'm most impressed with was the service. Our server was so attentive and very kind and personable. Even the hostess was super nice. The ambiance was also rather nice and separated far enough from the casino so there wasn't too much smoke that would linger into the restaurant. Very happy that we came here.

Claim Jumper was great! The food and service were amazing. We went on a Thursday late at night and my fiancé and I were trying to figure out where to eat last minute. I'm so happy we decided on this place not knowing what to expect. Michelle was the sweetest server and very attentive! My fiancé and I had the grilled chicken sandwich and the Asian chicken salad -- both were delicious.

This is not the claim jumper of old. The food was horrible. Order a chicken Caesar salad and it was deli chicken. I used to come here a lot. This place has drastically gone down hill. The menu is about a third of the original. We asked the waitress about it and she said that it hasn't been claim jumper for a few years now. If that is the case why is it still branded as such? Their napkins and signs at the casino still say claim jumper. $34 for a salad and soup would have been worth it if it was the old claim jumper.

We had breakfast here on the morning of check out. The oatmeal was good, it was a big bowl. We also ordered pancakes and the vegetarian breakfast burrito. Everything tasted good. Our server was nice. It wasn't too busy when we went so our food was brought out in a timely manner.

Our big group had an excellent breakfast here inside the Golden Nugget. It was our farewell meal together but very spontaneous because we were all hungover and exhausted. The Claim Jumper crew was very accommodating and even made room for our bags as we had already checked out. We all ordered some type of breakfast entree with coffee and fancy looking mimosas. I really appreciated that the fruit was incredibly fresh and firm (not soggy, souring and going bad). The taters were crisp and tasty and we weren't shorted on sauces nor dips. The Eggs Benedict and Country Fried Steak was so so delicious. Biscuits and gravy was a huge portion with lots of wonderful country gravy. You could easily share that entree. The bacon was cooked perfectly and crispy. Some of us ordered lunch. I'd recommend the club sandwich and buffalo cauliflower. We were all very happy with our food and service. EXCELLENT service 10/10!!!! I didn't even know Claim Jumper served breakfast but now I do. We will definitely be back when we are in town again.

It was a good breakfast, we were able to get right in. Waiter was nice, a little slow at getting the food out to us, but that wasn't his fault. We were staying at Golden nugget so it was convenient. I ordered the ham and hollandaise omelette. I did ask for extra hollandaise, after I received our food, I didn't need to order extra. It was good food, it just did not wow us and being in Las Vegas there are so many places to try that I would just try a different place.

It was aight. I've had better frozen chicken pot pie. We only ate here to use up some comps. Not our first choice in Vegas but pretty darn good when it's a good deal!

Good food and great service inside Golden Nugget. Tiki Hubby and I shared the 3 egg omelette with chorizo, cheese, avocado, sour cream with a ranchero sauce, came with potatoes and toast. Not one bad bite and one order was more than enough for both of us. Our waitress was great sooo busy. Good fresh cooked perfectly food.

Conveniently located inside the Golden Nugget, the Claim Jumper offers a little sanity when it comes to some of the pricing you will see around Las Vegas when it comes to meal prices. We were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. Service is excellent, very attentive and ensured we wanted for nothing. Menu covers a standard gauntlet of food fare. Nice selection of some healthy options. The fruit platter was outstanding and shareable. Never ending coffee is a plus! Ambience is very casual with a cozy feel of a diner mixed in. Love the fact that they offer to go cups on unfinished beverages to take with you. Everything was well prepared, served fresh and hot.

Upon walking in the restaurant, it has a very cool vibe of an old style Chicago Speakeasy. Plenty of tables and booth seating, as well as a very large bar area to have drinks and enjoy the food. The menu has a nice variety of options with the classic cuts of steak, fish, chicken, other types of seafood, so no matter what your craving, Bavettes will have it. The staff is incredible. They will keep your drinks full and check on each table multiple times to make sure you are satisfied with the food. The food is top tier with good quality steak, excellent fried chicken and amazing mashed potatoes to go with it. Also the stroganoff has tasty bites of short ribs and mushrooms on top of a bed of pasta in white sauce. I prefer the traditional gravy and sour cream of regular stroganoff but I thought the portion size for the price was a value. I had a great dining experience and would no t hesitate to go back to Bavettes for another meal.

Great ambiance, great service, great bread, great margarita, amazing Caesar salad and crab cake, and stupendous steak for two. Their steak is dry-aged, served sizzling in butter and its own juices (very Instagrammable if you can take your phone out fast enough to take a video.) It is insanely tender and juicy and charred. The steak for two (this is what they are known for) gives you both strip steak and tenderloin separated by a T-bone. It was insanely good and unlike most steaks I've had before. We didn't have room for dessert and they gave us very cute chocolate coins to-go. Would come back again!

At $49.95 per person, it's a stellar deal in this brutal economy and a Strip full of Caesars upcharges. We didn't have a reservation because it's lunch time so the hostess sat us at a tiny table with skinny and uncomfortable chairs, which meant my big and tall man had zero chance of being comfortable. After noticing plenty of empty tables in the main dining room, we asked to be moved and were told "reservations only." So I made a reservation on my phone for five minutes later, walked back up, and checked in. I wish you could've seen her face. After wasting our time, we finally got a normal table. The food is great. The burger is made from the same dry-aged prime beef used for their famous steaks, with melted American cheese that adds a touch of nostalgia. It comes with a large ring of raw onions - I tried it, but it's not for me, so off it went. The bun is intentionally simple, allowing the beef to shine. The fries were crispy with a soft interior. The steak sandwich with caramelized onions also hit the spot. They also brought out a generous side of their signature steak sauce, which ended up being used on everything. Tangy, a little sweet, and reminiscent of a German-style sauce I've had before. Very addictive. Save room for dessert, because their hot fudge sundae is no joke. The fudge is so dense... We'll be back to try a steak and next time make a reservation so we don't have to deal with the hostess circus again. 3.5 stars for an overall first impression but it would have been higher if this restaurant understood who keeps their lights on.

He spent a lot of time explaining the menu and answering questions. He never seemed to be in a rush and was on top of it. We also tried the Brussels sprouts, which were more like a salad, fresh with lemon and pistachio. The creamy garlic mashed potatoes were also fantastic. My wife and I both tried the Spencer cut steak. It was grilled to perfection. Great char and came out the way I ordered it. Juicy and not fatty, an excellent cut. I really enjoyed the sorbet as well. The first floor of the restaurant was very cool! You could see the cuts of meat in the refrigerators and there is also a bar on the left of the entrance. There was a beautiful chandelier by the staircase as well. The upstairs dining area was very plain however. Bare walls, industrial type of standard light fixtures. The server recommended the skirt steak which we ordered MR. Also ordered the ribeye, portobello mushrooms fries and the steak tartare to start. I've never seen a steak tartare come out brown as it shows in the photo. I was so hungry, so I tried some, assuming the kitchen wouldn't send out bad raw meat. It tasted ok but the more I kept eating the weirder I felt about the color. We asked the manager if this was a common occurrence as my experience with steak tartare had never been this way. She said that it shouldn't come out brown and said she'd take it off the menu. She then later came back to explain that the lime juice that's in the marinade oxidizes the raw beef so that's why it's brown... which is an acceptable answer I suppose? It just felt weird bc I couldn't find any photos of browned steak tartare on google when looking up the restaurant menu. The steaks we ordered MR came out. The ribeye was cooked decently but the skirt steak was more on the rare side so we had to send it back for an oven heat up for 1 more minute. I enjoyed the skirt steak but it was too sweet to enjoy the whole thing. Cooking it in the oven for another minute made it even sweeter. It tasted like over sweetened Korean galbi in steak form. I'd say the portobello fries was my favorite dish and decided to take the rest to go to pick at in the hotel. After dinner we were given the dessert menu which didn't really call out to me, but since we told the server it was our anniversary, they gave us complimentary sorbet which was very nice. I liked the sorbet quite a lot but I was pretty full so didn't get to enjoy much of it. The gesture was kind though. At the end, the steak tartare was not taken off our receipt so we had to ask for that to be taken off since the manager told us she'd do that. The server gladly obliged. I want to say, that there was a female employee - maybe a busser, who worked really hard to be attentive with our waters and clearing our plates. I wish I got her name! I believe she was Latina with a ponytail if that helps at all working Saturday evening of Labor Day weekend at 6PM. All in all, the experience was not as great as my husband's first time at the Henderson location - he said the cuts were so much bigger before and the ambience of the Henderson location was more fine dining-esque. But the economy is tough lately so I figured the quality could've easily gone down. Because the price points were very reasonable, I thought it was up to par with what we paid. Probably won't go back unfortunately but it was great to try it out. The plaza it is in is called Trivoli(?) and I thought it was a cute spot with a lot of shops. Although everything was closed by 8, we walked around to digest a little and enjoyed the evening.
