Great convenient restaurant inside the Nugget. I ate here everyday on my trip. The prices were reasonable and the food was good. Service was quick and attentive and its nice being right by the pool

Not the best ever not the worst. Pretty expensive and that's cause it's in a hotel so I think you pay a lot for convenience. Food tasted pretty good though, worth the price? Maybe. Service was great! Our waitress was so sweet and friendly! Inside is huge lots and lots of large party seatings, it was dead though haha. Barely anyone but it was like 3pm when we went. I think there are better places in Vegas though honestly. Great for a quick and easy dinner if you're staying at the golden nugget.

I was surprised to see Claim Jumpers still open. I remember going to one in California back in the late 90s.. I remember them from having one of the best bloody Mary back then. Last time I've been to one was in Tempe long time ago. We decided to try here for breakfast. Got coffee, biscuits and gravy, American breakfast, and side of stacked packages. I forgot they are known for large portion. Biscuits and gravy.... Well... Very plain but with sasauge was little better. But sasauge tasted like one of them link sasauge chopped up. American breakfast was OK, eggs were ordered over medium but had runny water or something on the bottom. Pancake was not bad, nothing special. Over all meal was not bad, definitely not coming back.

In the name of Claim Jumper, this restaurant might Claim this location as their most fitting place of business. Inside the Golden Nugget hotel alongside the Saltgrass Steakhouse. All of which share and uphold the nostalgic rustic westerner design. A contributing theme of the 1849 Gold Rush. Perhaps brought together by the reoccurring theme of challenges sucessful businesses share. Once any venture yields Gold, the real challenge is in protecting their stake. No pun on their deliciously preserved steaks. As I wonder and appreciate how their food is served continously fresh. Although some pun on the chosen name which defines those who illegitimatly attempt to occupy or steals the rights of other people's stake in land. A time when the west was wild with lawlessness. Prosperous people reqired special kind of protectors. A team of writers that worded and shared the prospectors story. Their promised rightfulness as well as the wrongdoings they were seved. A term known as 49ers or pony riders. I'm today's state of war, those willing volunteers are called journalists. There are currently 59 people. All of which remain in that special state. A term sometimes referred to as Prisoners of War.

Really super good service. We ordered the beef dip sandwich and my husband and I split it between each other. The bread was super soft to my liking. The onion rings were yummy and tasty. I think they sprinkled Parmesan cheese on the breading. We also ordered it with clam chowder and a Caesar salad and both were really tasty. But the part I'm most impressed with was the service. Our server was so attentive and very kind and personable. Even the hostess was super nice. The ambiance was also rather nice and separated far enough from the casino so there wasn't too much smoke that would linger into the restaurant. Very happy that we came here.

Claim Jumper was great! The food and service were amazing. We went on a Thursday late at night and my fiancé and I were trying to figure out where to eat last minute. I'm so happy we decided on this place not knowing what to expect. Michelle was the sweetest server and very attentive! My fiancé and I had the grilled chicken sandwich and the Asian chicken salad -- both were delicious.

This is not the claim jumper of old. The food was horrible. Order a chicken Caesar salad and it was deli chicken. I used to come here a lot. This place has drastically gone down hill. The menu is about a third of the original. We asked the waitress about it and she said that it hasn't been claim jumper for a few years now. If that is the case why is it still branded as such? Their napkins and signs at the casino still say claim jumper. $34 for a salad and soup would have been worth it if it was the old claim jumper.

We had breakfast here on the morning of check out. The oatmeal was good, it was a big bowl. We also ordered pancakes and the vegetarian breakfast burrito. Everything tasted good. Our server was nice. It wasn't too busy when we went so our food was brought out in a timely manner.

Our big group had an excellent breakfast here inside the Golden Nugget. It was our farewell meal together but very spontaneous because we were all hungover and exhausted. The Claim Jumper crew was very accommodating and even made room for our bags as we had already checked out. We all ordered some type of breakfast entree with coffee and fancy looking mimosas. I really appreciated that the fruit was incredibly fresh and firm (not soggy, souring and going bad). The taters were crisp and tasty and we weren't shorted on sauces nor dips. The Eggs Benedict and Country Fried Steak was so so delicious. Biscuits and gravy was a huge portion with lots of wonderful country gravy. You could easily share that entree. The bacon was cooked perfectly and crispy. Some of us ordered lunch. I'd recommend the club sandwich and buffalo cauliflower. We were all very happy with our food and service. EXCELLENT service 10/10!!!! I didn't even know Claim Jumper served breakfast but now I do. We will definitely be back when we are in town again.

It was a good breakfast, we were able to get right in. Waiter was nice, a little slow at getting the food out to us, but that wasn't his fault. We were staying at Golden nugget so it was convenient. I ordered the ham and hollandaise omelette. I did ask for extra hollandaise, after I received our food, I didn't need to order extra. It was good food, it just did not wow us and being in Las Vegas there are so many places to try that I would just try a different place.

    Allen L.

It was aight. I've had better frozen chicken pot pie. We only ate here to use up some comps. Not our first choice in Vegas but pretty darn good when it's a good deal!

Good food and great service inside Golden Nugget. Tiki Hubby and I shared the 3 egg omelette with chorizo, cheese, avocado, sour cream with a ranchero sauce, came with potatoes and toast. Not one bad bite and one order was more than enough for both of us. Our waitress was great sooo busy. Good fresh cooked perfectly food.

Conveniently located inside the Golden Nugget, the Claim Jumper offers a little sanity when it comes to some of the pricing you will see around Las Vegas when it comes to meal prices. We were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. Service is excellent, very attentive and ensured we wanted for nothing. Menu covers a standard gauntlet of food fare. Nice selection of some healthy options. The fruit platter was outstanding and shareable. Never ending coffee is a plus! Ambience is very casual with a cozy feel of a diner mixed in. Love the fact that they offer to go cups on unfinished beverages to take with you. Everything was well prepared, served fresh and hot.

The food is delicious, portions are massive, and the décor is pure retro Vegas perfection. We loved the warm lighting, over-the-top ambiance, and friendly staff. Why wait? I've heard you can spot Nicolas Cage here sometimes if you're here in the absolute middle of the night, but that's way past my bedtime so I can't confirm. Like I said... what's not to love!? Free parking, generous daily happy hour even on weekends, beautiful retro ambiance, great place to take pictures, and really good diner food with a great selection all day long. The only thing that bummed me out (but not even enough to take off a star) is that last time I went to Peppermill -- a couple weeks ago for my birthday -- my group kept trying to order drinks before the happy hour ended but the cocktail server kept skipping right past our table on her rounds. By the time she got to us, 25 minutes later, the happy hour was over and she said she couldn't honor the price as a courtesy. So that kinda bummed us all out a little bit, but we still had a good time and enjoyed the food and the ambiance.

The service (so many servers standing around at all times) was attentive and friendly but the only positive aspect of this experience. I apologize in advance for the harsh comments, but it is honest feedback and just a few people's opinions (our table echoed these concerns) They give each lady a long stem rose upon arrival - I might be the only one, but this feels cheap and unnecessary. Who wants to walk around carrying this after, anyway? The table side salad is a nice way saying: we offer a mobile salad bar. Also, unnecessary . The bread bowl is served with a variety of salts - nice touch. Our table of 4 ordered the scallops for our app- they brought us 3 - no heads up that we would not have enough for each of us to have one! They were also-$51- that's $17 for each scallop!!! Not to mention they smelled fishy and were undercooked. We ordered the chimichuri skirt steak but they were out of it - it was 5pm reservations so it appears to be poor planning? The Beef Wellingtons ordered for the table were overcooked and dry. Our friends are light eaters and split a Wellington ( a good portion size to do this) and they opted for the $40 split plate fee - which basically gave them each their own veggies and salads. Don't bother ...that was basically $40 for some green beans, potatoes and a salad. Chocolate covered strawberries that came at the end - dark chocolate was waxy and the apricots in chocolate not so good either. For a high end $$$$ restaurant to serve an old fashioned with those cheap cherries...shame, shame! Drink was overall just -meh. The staff recognized it was our anniversary and brought us a chocolate lava cake out for dessert and had a card signed my the staff. That was a very nice touch , however it doesn't change the fact that everything else was disappointing and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We received that help over the phone with the restaurant hostess, and she guided us through what otherwise seemed a maze. Then we were happy to find valet parking available right in front of the restaurant. Rather than having to park in a parking structure a significant distance from the restaurant, the valet parked our car just in front. When we arrived for our 6:00 p.m. reservation, I was glad that he told me that the valet service closes at 7:00 p.m., but I could pay the $11 parking fee up front and hold onto my key for the car right after he parked it in front of the restaurant, and leave at any time. For an appetizer I selected Small Thai Lettuce Wraps, with enough vegetables for three servings of Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and three very tasty sauces: Peanut Sauce, Sweet Red Chili Sauce, and Tamarind -Cashew Thai Sauce. The combination of lettuce leaves, carrot splinters, bean sprouts, and cucumber was simply great. I considered taking one or two servings home, but wound up eating most everything in front of me and bringing nothing home. Complimentary Brown Bread and Sourdough Bread and butter enhanced my enjoyment of the meal before my entree of Famous Factory Meatloaf, with Mashed Potatoes and kernels of corn arrived, along with Diane's Americana Cheeseburger and French Fries. Her burger was supposed to be medium rare but was instead medium to medium well, with too much visible char. And the front of my meatloaf was cold when I received it. The Mashed Potatoes, corn, and most of the meatloaf were warm enough. Service by our waiter, Ian T., was excellent, supplying a needed Tropical Iced Tea without request, and additional napkins and a wet wipe. When bringing the check, he also gave Diane a complimentary slice of Strawberry Cheesecake to somewhat make up for her deficient burger. Unfortunately, she could not eat the dessert because she is allergic to all berries. So she gave the slice to a family at an adjoining table that was happy to receive it. The dining room here is elegant, with granite table tops and interesting golden lighting features hanging from the ceiling. We left the restaurant at 7:55 p.m., got into our automobile, and headed home. XXXXX for Customer Service; XXX-1/2 overall!
