I ordered the past two days to go. The first day I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was ok but had too much breading and the chips were slightly undercooked. The second day I ordered the pizza and it was ok except they didn't add the mushrooms which I ordered and the sausage was just crumbled just bad . BUT the table top was sticky, like the cleaning is melting the finish and our table was so wobbly we spilt our coffee. Arrived with a group of 5 on a Saturday evening. We were seated quite quick despite the 1.5hr wait we were given. Let's start off with the service. Horrible. It was impossible to waive down our waiter, and when we did, he snapped back saying he'll get to us when he's ready. We waited about 30 minutes from seating before he even took our order. Food: our group got multiple items but here're few highlights. Fish & chips - rubbery fish. Steak & shrimp - steak over seasoned and overly salty. Fries - stale and under fried. Absolutely love the ambiance at Claim Jumper in Laughlin. I had gone for lunch and was seated immediately. The host and waitress were very attentive, atmosphere was fantastic near the waterfall and there was a nice variety of food available. They do serve breakfast all day but on this day it was the classic cheeseburger for me. I thought it was cooked perfectly and had a great char-grill flavor. They accommodated my request for half fries and half onion rings as my side also. The prices might seem a little high but everything is increasing in price making it harder to treat yourself or family. I appreciate the staff and their attention along with being friendly. Located inside the Golden Nugget casino in Laughlin, NV. We had a very good experience here. We ordered spaghetti & meatball meal and meatloaf (pork &beef) and both meals were very tasty. If it would include a small salad that would have been great. We sat & enjoyed our meal on the edge overlooking the inside waterfall with the soothing sound of water - it felt very relaxing and pleasant. While waiting, we were able to walk around and gamble a bit, which could be a good thing and bad thing. Once we received our text, we came back to the restaurant and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and attentive. She brought us a nice warm loaf of cheese bread. I was hungry, so the bread held me down before we got our food. We ordered the chicken pot pie and the chicken wings. The chicken pot pie was delicious and very filling. It is definitely something two people can share. The chicken wings are sold in 5 pcs or 10 pcs orders. Good thing we only ordered the 5 pieces, because the chicken pot pot filled us up. I usually get clam chowder to go, but tonight we decided to sit down for a meal. I ordered my bowl of clam chowder and my boyfriend ordered the fish and chips. Our waitress came to the table to get our drink order and we both just ordered water, she said she was waiting for the bread to come out and would bring us a loaf, meanwhile, she took our order. The loaf of bread never came, another individual brought us the clam chowder and the fish and chips. The french fries with the fish and chips were absolutely horrible and cold. The fish was over battered and we let the waitress know the fries were terrible and she brought us some more. When she brought the fries back out, she brought them on an ice cold plate and they were still terrible. The table was super sticky and both the waitress and another gal told us they needed to be refinished and all the tables in there were like that. When I've sat there and eaten a few years ago, I never ran into this problem so I was quite surprised what poor quality The food and service was. Take note that they were not even busy. It's pretty sad when the waitress never comes back to see how you're doing or if there's anything else you need. I will just keep ordering my clam chowder to go, but I have no plans on returning to this restaurant to sit and have a meal. Very disappointing! read more

PERRY is an excellent waiter!!! I couldn't ask for a better waiter!! He provided the best service and made sure you had everything you need! He waited 10 tables, and was constantly busy. The Cesar salad was fresh. The chicken friend chicken came with two buttermilk bartered chicken breast with yummy gravy and mashed potatoes, both tasty. The chicken fried chicken will fill you up! It could be a meal for two. Also ordered the appetizer potato skins and it had enough cheese and toppings. The salmon was undercooked. It was raw. The green beans were over cooked. I haven't been to a Claim Jumper in years so I was kinda ready for it. The staff are enforcing the 6 feet rule by distancing customers out by table for your safety. The staff are all friendly and attentive. The Fried Fish tacos were DELICIOUS a little spice from the chipotle made it so great. I don't have a pic of those unfortunately lol we inhaled them. Decided to take a mini vacation to Laughlin, Nevada. The Claim Jumper in Tucson closed down a few months ago, so we decided to go to the one in Laughlin. We made reservations and was immediately seated by the hostess. We were surprised by how condensed the menu was. Our server Paul was pleasant and did a very good job the entire meal. I ordered a bowl of clam chowder and my girlfriend ordered the vegetarian pizza. It was pretty busy, but the food came out at a reasonable time. The clam chowder was delicious! The food came out quickly and was good. However, our order had several mistakes but we're the type of people who just take it as is if it's minor. My husband ordered a coke and was served a lemonade. It was fine, he can drink a lemonade. We ordered zucchini for an appetizer but were served mozzarella sticks. Again, we like those so we just went with it. Then, when our meals came out, I received the fish tacos instead of the shrimp tacos. I took the fish off and just ate the tacos without meat. They were still good, just meatless lol! My husband and I had dinner here once with friends. I had the chicken fried beef. It came with mashed potatoes and tasty mixed sautéed veggies. My husband and I split a salad. My husband had a ribeye steak which he said was very good. The four of us split a huge carrot cake; it was delicious. We also ate a breakfast at this restaurant. My husband and I wanted to kill time before meeting our friends for an early breakfast at the Claim Jumper. (The casino's snack bar was not yet open.) We asked the Claim Jumper hostess if we could sit at a table, drink coffee and read the newspaper until our friends arrived. The hostess said yes. The server was very attentive about refilling our coffee cups as we waited for our friends. We enjoyed our breakfast. The service was excellent. The next day we returned to the Claim Jumper with our friends and an acquaintance who lives in nearby Needles California. We had the clam chowder, the classic cheeseburger, and the salmon ! 1 star lost for the excess amount of salt used on the salmon (made my lips pucker up like a real fish!) For the next time I'll ask easy on the salt, but over all great service especially the guy in the photo ( forgot his name). My husband and I are fans of Claim Jumper Restaurants from California to Nevada. This particular one was located inside the Golden Nugget in Laughlin Nevada and did not disappoint. From start to finish service was excellent! Friendly greeting from hostess, seated right away (in booth we requested). Server took our drink orders right away. I opted for ice tea, which she promptly brought with additional carafe to refill to my hearts content, this was a bonus since I was thirsty from hanging at the river all afternoon. She also brought us yummy cheese bread to slice and enjoy while waiting for our meals! As far as dinner choices it is always hard to make a decision with such a large menu of options. I decided on the cup of Potato Cheddar Soup and Chinese Chicken Salad. My man was craving pizza so opted for the Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza. It was a very nice evening together. We took a 3 day getaway to Laughlin Nevada. We went to the claim jumper twice. Watch out as they get very busy and the wait is usually an hour for all the restaurants at the Golden Nugget. I had called in a reservation the first time and by the time we arrived they hadn't written down my name but they went ahead and seated us right away. The second time we had a new waiter but he did a great job. I believe they were short on help but don't go here if you're in a hurry. I believe they could lose at 8pm.
