Baby's first piercing. I got my first piercings here. As an adult, I wanted my firsts to be special, so I looked up boutique shops, doctor-certified salons and a host of $300 + shops. But after searching through many tattoo shops and boutique piercing salons, I decided to stick with the old tried and true Claire's. Just about all of my friends had their first piercings at Claire's in various cities, so I figured it should be okay. The reviews at this location deterred me, but I last minute decided to stick with them and it was a positive experience. They aren't taking appointments, but I called ahead and they knew I'd be there for a noon slot. Kiara did my piercings. She was so patient and meticulous. I wanted them to be perfectly centered and she took her time re-drawing the dots until they were exactly where I wanted them. The process was quick and painless, barely a pinch. I got the 4mm yellow 14 kt gold and they're something I'd actually wear even though they're starters. They totaled around $60 including rapid after care solution. The only reason this review isn't getting a "great" five star rating is because last weekend (02/12/2022) the store was severely understaffed. Rachel was the only employee in the store. She was amazing! Rachel greeted every customer that entered, pierced ears, acted as cashier, and everything in between....ALONE! There should have at least been one other employee staffed that day to help Rachel given the traffic the store gets on a Saturday. Claire's management, please properly staff your store so you don't burn such a good employee out! It would be a tremendous loss to you to lose someone like her. read more

I think this is a cute little shop for young girls to get accessories for themselves. I have a 10yr old and she loves this place. She purchases the cutest items such as earrings, rings, glasses, hair accessories, etc. they usually have great deals for example today's deal was if you purchase any item over $5 you get the second item of your choice for $5. Disgusting place !! Do not give business to this store. I took my newborn daughter on Valentine's Day to pierce her ears I paid $108 for the 14k gold wanting the best for my daughter and the Manager Tee pierces it crooked. The left earring was too high ( see picture) i had to wait to remove the earring and return to repierce what a hassle and furthermore terrible experience. When I returned 5 weeks later that Manager Tee delegates to this other young employee to repierce with an attitude. The employees name was Marlene. I specifically told Marlene which earring And I Gabe her the earring I removed. as she repierce my daughters ear the equipment got stuck on her lobe and she kept yanking and yanking my poor baby crying. Until the Manager Tee came and scolded her for not looking at my previous papers and but knowing which earrings to place.... and had me sign some papers again which I wrote will dispute charges. The earring was left and I was told to return again. Hahah never!!!!! Worst experience ever. Claire's is done. Close this business it should not offer ears piercing to babies. My daughter didn't want to go because of all the negative reviews and 2 star rating. I explained that Yelp generally sucks because people often leave negative reviews for ridiculous reasons, and that people are quick to leave negative reviews but slow to leave good reviews (the baby with the unequal ear piercings is a valid bad review.. personally I wouldn't even have a baby's ears pierced in this first place, but to each his own). So we went to Claire's despite the 2 star rating. The woman who helped us and pierced my daughter's ears (Tyanna) was friendly, helpful and very professional. In and out in 10 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. Also the guy who rang us up was very nice. Even the security guard was nice. Great experience and would definitely recommend to others. read more

Great place for cute jewelry and accessories. Huge range of styles so that young kids can find ways to express themselves. That being said: DO NOT GET YOUR EARS PIERCED HERE OR AT ANY CLAIRES/PLACE THAT USES A PIERCING GUN! That's a surefire way to get an infection. Do your research, go to a tattoo parlor/piercer. They are professionally trained, clean, and use a needle, which doesn't damage your ear or cartilage. A gun is too aggressive on your skin and punctures a hole instead of gently piercing one safely. read more

I would suggest not to get a piercing here or any other Claire's. I got a cartilage piercing and followed the instructions and cleaning. I even went through 3 solution bottles--that how much I used to make sure it was clean,3 times a day like instructed. And I get still got an infection. The only conclusion I could think of is, it was the gun that pierced my ears at Claire's. Also they don't tell you this and I had to find out some other way, but the gun holds more bacteria than the needle. If you don't want an infection just go to a shop that does the needle piercing. Also the earrings they use for piercings as a place holder are very thin and trashy. Don't go there if you believe you deserve better. read more

I usually love going to all the Claire's locations because they have beautiful jewelry. But not this location. Just to get straight to the point, I went in on 7/2/17 with my mom. We had been shopping in the area at Target, Trader Joe's, Rainbow, Payless, Bath and Body Works, etc. So we had a lot of bags. This Claire's location is a small space and it was cramped that day because there was a lot of people in the store. I picked up some earrings and chokers and held it up to my face/neck in the mirror (to see how they look; I don't purchase items until I see how the item looks on me first) and didn't notice at first, but the security guard..who happened to be an overweight black bald man kept looking at me. Shrugged it off. Continued looking at the cute backpacks and trying it on in front of the mirror which was like 4 feet away from the security guard, and this dude again watching me. I'm like whatever, move towards the books on the shelves on the opposite end to see if I want to buy something for school. The security guard follows me and stands 2 feet away from me. I go back to the earrings section and he walks over to stand near me. At this point I start feeling very uncomfortable because athough there's about fifteen or so customers in the store, this guard is not paying attention to anybody else in the store who could literally be stealing at that very moment. Just me. At that point I felt pissed, so my mom and I left without buying anything. Yeah I was carrying bags from other places, but that's still not a way to treat customers that shop in your store. It does the opposite..it scares them away. I don't like being treated like a thief when I clearly have money. If you have to watch customers then atleast do it discreetly instead of having someone knowingly stand close to you to the point they are almost breathing on you. I will still shop at other locations but the security guard at this location ruined it so won't be back. read more

This place gave me a every hard time. I went to get some earrings that was 6.50, 7.23 with taxes. The worker did not put my earrings in my bag! Just my receipt for it I paid with my card and when I left I decided to check my bag because it felt to light! I checked my bag my earrings was not there I called and told them she did not put my earrings in my bag I back tracked all my steps to make sure I did not drop them she told me to come back and bring my receipt which I did. Soon as I get there they tell me I need to write down my name and number and took my receipt saying they have to call headquarters to check the cameras and make sure that I'm not trying to STEAL them !! I fully explained to her that I want a refund then she told me I can not get a refund because I don't have the earrings. They also said I have to come back the next day or they will give me a call about the earrings case. Who steals out of Claries ??? they are cheap inexpensive earrings I don't need to steal anything I feel like this was just racist and I will never go back there. read more

I've been here probably around 10 times since they've opened, and out of those 10 times there were like 5-6 times all of the employees were just walking around talking about random crap instead of doing their jobs. One time I was left standing at the counter ready to pay for my stuff and no one was there. I kept saying "excuse me" to the girl nearby and she purposely ignored me... Then after a few times of trying to get her attention she yelled to her co-worker " UM YOU HAVE A CUSTOMER". Then her co-worker says, "OH I didn't know i was supposed to be working cashier!" Like wtf... How do you not know what you're supposed to do? The stuff in the store is awesome, just like any other Claire's. But the employees need some work..... read more
