The waitress took our orders and about 15 minutes later, dinner arrived. a "Cowboy burger" for me with fries and French toast with bananas for Mrs. K. Delicious, prepared well and plenty of it. I'd say the only ding is that the burger was cooked a bit too much for my personal taste - we weren't asked for a temperature and I should have asked. The owner, Sonja, is an incredibly nice lady who is extremely talented and knowledgeable. Several media are offered, from painting, pottery, prints, jewelry, and more. While the subject matter of most of the painting/prints is African-American-centric, there are others themes on display, such as beachy kind of stuff, historical Pensacola scenes, western, and Native American genres. Sonja let me put a painting on lay-away and kindly called me to remind me about it after a month. When I went to pay off the art, I saw many new (and appealing!) paintings that wowed me. There seems to be quite a turn-over of stock, which makes it exciting to return. Plus...Blue Dot is right next door! Go look at and buy some art, then go grub the best burger in town. It's a two-fer!
