Pilot was at the next exit, and after waiting more than an hour for a tow truck (thanks, Mercedes, for deciding a spare tire wasn't a necessity), I ended up at Southern Tire. The team couldn't have been friendlier. Despite having worked through the night before I arrived first thing in the morning, everyone was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely eager to get me back on the road. Unfortunately, they weren't able to locate the specific tire my car needed, but they made every effort to track one down and find a solution. Sometimes the answer is simply that the part isn't available, and that wasn't their fault. I still ended up needing a tow, but I left grateful for their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help during what had turned into a pretty frustrating morning.
