The rooms were lovely, with comfortable beds and couches and fridges stocked with filtered water. The little garden outside was beautiful, with a tiny fountain stocked with goldfish which I had to stop and visit on the way in and out each day. The inn isn't right in the heart of town, which meant it was a lot quieter, which was nice for what we needed. Most of the restaurants were a 15-20 minute walk from where we were staying. The entire walk was full of little shops and galleries-- no hardship to wander past those again and again. Breakfasts were spectacular-- multi course affairs with fantastic coffee and amazing locally pressed juice. Fresh baked scones and gorgeous fruit tarts and shakshukas. All delicious. The entire experience was just beautiful. It sounds a little cliché, but it really did feel more like being invited to stay with your eclectic aunt than it did like a hotel stay. Just wonderful.

I had to check in after hours, and it was convenient and safe; I couldn't have asked for anything easier. The space itself is outstanding! It was very clean and perfect for our weekend away. They have completed updates since their most recent pictures, and we were pleasantly surprised. We had absolutely everything we needed for the weekend! The guest house host was unbelievably friendly! He cooked breakfast on the weekends, which included the most amazing egg dishes and muffins! I can't wait to return here, and I'd definitely recommend this spot to anyone coming to visit the area!

We stayed in the Crow's Nest, which is a relatively small room but it was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The highlight of the room itself was the shower, surprisingly luxurious feeling. There were plenty of other amenities available. We took advantage of the breakfasts and parking spots, but I know they also had bikes available, as well as a little patio/garden that seems like it would be lovely in warmer weather. To top it off, Chip's pastries are *absolutely divine*, we were sneaking more of them all day long. There were also plenty of dogs around all weekend long. I would not recommend this spot, or the town in general, to someone not comfortable with dogs, but I had a ball :)

The hosts were helpful with offering suggestions and recommendations. We also enjoyed meeting the other guests from around the world. What's not to love about this place? The bathroom was huge and shower was refreshing. All the amenities are included, frig, hair dryer, iron etc. All of the staff was courteous and kind. They provide a very generous 24 hour coffee, or tea station loaded with lots of goodies. The property is stylish and well maintained. An outdoor patio with attractive seating is also available. It's also perfectly located to Commercial street where all the fun restaurants, shops and bars are.
