Do NOT hire this auction house! I wish we had read reviews and researched this company before hiring them to manage our estate auction. There are many poor reviews from people who have purchased auction items but not much here from those who auctioned items off. I'm sure our negative experience dealing with them will come as no surprise. After rescheduling twice, they showed up to our home on a Friday to inventory items for our estate sale. By late afternoon they were half way through and said they'd be back Monday. Both times they showed up they were extremely rude to me, my girlfriend and my 90 year old uncle. My Aunt recently passed and had an extensive collection of glassware, sculptures and original art. My uncle tried to tell them about some of the more valuable items, thinking that this information, such as the artist's name or sculpture's orgin or pointing out something important, like showing them the handle on a ceramic vase was cracked - he thought this would be helpful for potential bidders to know. He wasn't trying to talk their ear off. I was there to make sure of this! For the most part, he was very respectful and stayed out of their way. Whenever he would tryto tell them anything about any items they were prepping for sale they were extremely rude - either completely ignoring him or getting very short and snappy. While we were in the garage we heard them taking a break outside and discussing amongst themselves what a pain it was to be working with so many items in a small, cluttered house and saying rude things about some statues that were clearly replicas and being sold as such. This really infuriated me because we are their client. Why come into our home to work with us and bring an attitude? I had a horrible feeling about them and wanted to call it off right then. They were nothing but nice and professional when we called to inquire about their services, but they are very slick with the contracts and paperwork and once you sign your life away there is no turning back and they know that they can treat you however they please - like garbage - and there's not a thing you can do about that! The 2nd day they came back to finish what they started was even worse. One hour into it they tell us items they had on Friday have been moved or missing. Since they just dumped stuff on the floor and throughout the hallway, yes, we did move some things but they left items stacked and totally blocked the only path to the bathroom! My Uncle is 90. He has mobility issues and when we explained this, we were told that we could have gotten a hotel room for the duration of the sale and time that they were there to work. Well, I'm sorry but we didn't feel comfortable just letting all these strangers in our house unsupervised. After showing them where wed moved the things left in the hall, they yelled at us not to touch anything again. They went back to work then went to lunch. Upon returning from lunch they called my uncle over to talk to him in private and accused us all of stealing items he'd had out for auction on Friday. They got into it with us and insisted that there was stuff missing. My Uncle had some friends of his over to visit during the weekend and he had someone there dropping off meals and doing food delivery. They demanded the names and phone numbers of everyone who was at the house over the weekend so that they could call them to inquire about the items they thought were gone and demand things be returned. This was crazy because they really had no clue what the items even were that they thought people stole! They kept bullying my uncle to provide this information and called his friends who just thought this was very strange since they never took anything from the house. When no one fessed up since no on had taken anything they went on to accuse my Uncle of cheating them out of profits because if these people didnt have anything then obviously my Uncle sold things over the weekend and now he needed to tell them exactly what was sold off behind their backs! I kid you not. This was so unhinged. We were in shock and disbelief that a company who is supposedly a professional auction house would be acting like a bunch of thugs. My Uncle was so upset that he called my cousin in Flordia and after hearing his side of what was going on, she took it upon herself to call for a police welfare check on him because these people were yelling at him and physically getting in our faces making threats. The police didn't exactly know what to make of this either. They basically took our side telling the organizers to settle down or else they would ask them to leave the property. Talk about trashy! His neighbors knew he was holding an estate auction. When they see the police show up, they want to know what all was going on. This was just so embarrassing- over NOTHING. keep in mind they'd already logged about 300 or so different items! They told the police they needed to file a police report but read more

OMG!!!! Believe every single negative review!!! Purchased quilt. Charged $41 to ship ONE quilt. Arrived with a rotten back. Pics provided intentionally hid damage. Person on phone aggressively rude beyond the norm. Absolutely unhelpful. Tried contacting 3+ times regarding quilt condition and cost of shipping. Spent another $20.51 to ship quilt back. Quilt purchased 5/20. They recieved quilt back 6/27. Tried discussing with nasty guy again. Waited another week. Still no refund. Filed complaint with CC company and Hibid. BUYER BEWARE. This review is placed as a seller. I think what a lot of people don't understand is that when they search for an Estate Sale company in Las Vegas MANY of those companies refer their services out to Clark County Public Auctions to handle the online-only auctions. This is what happened to me. I wanted to have an online Estate Sale because I wanted it to be open to the entire country not just Vegas. Clark County Public auctions has their auctions connected to every online Estate Sale site and they offer shipping across the country. So I would definitely like to say that if you are thinking of having an online Estate Sale auction, skip the Estate Sale company middleman (and the cut they take) and go straight to Clark County Public Auctions. They really do great work for you and they know their stuff- and they take less of a percentage than the Estate Sale companies! The tagging crew led by Diane came into my mom's home and cleaned and organized everything! And I mean they sell everything-don't get rid of *anything* before the sale because you would be surprised at what things sell! Having read the reviews, what I will absolutely recommend to buyers is if you have any questions about how an item looks and the shape it's in, go to the preview day. They open the house up for a day so that anybody that has any questions or is unsure can look at everything in person. If you don't take advantage of that, then you really shouldn't complain. Steve headed up the preview day and handled the in-person pick up day and everything went smoothly. Their amazing moving crew comes in and moves everything out of the house for you so random people aren't tromping through your home. Fraud alert! I won an item at this auction, but when it was shipped to me all I received was an empty box. The auction house, in addition to being rude and aggressive, refused to provide a refund or send the item. They basically called me a liar, and said I did, in fact, get the item (I can assure you this is not true; I do not have the freaking item!). Thankfully I was able to dispute the charge with my credit card company, but beware when bidding on items with this auction house. If, instead of your receiving your item you get an empty box, expect to be yelled at and called a liar when you call to ask what's going on. Avoid this place! read more

Clark County Public Auction sold many guns for me. The guns all sold for acceptable prices. They took three months to write a check. The reason they said is because of time to collect money from the buyers. Their commission was 50% (half) of the auction proceeds. They did not tell me the commission percentage and did not include it on the paperwork. They left the commission space empty and I did not notice. I had expected 25%. I did not think to ask about commission before turning the guns over to them. The lower rating reflects the high (50%) commission and the three months to get a check. read more

The buyers premium added with state sales tax on coins is unusual at best .I worked in taxation and sales tax on coins is unheard of. Ok that being said I bought and paid for my coins not a great deal but ok. well a week later no shipping added coins in Limbo. so I called and was very cordial and literally got my head bit off because I called when he was busy. I am/was a customer all I wanted was to know when they would be shipped it's been a week . My Rating on HI BID is Impeccable and I feel like I did not matter to this auction well Steve just so you know my sister works for HIBID. Don't use this company. They stole an incredible amount of brand new aluminum stock from my sale and it all on large trailer that we saw with our own eyes. When I asked Dan about it he said,o we sent it to the dump. Trailer had all aluminum nothing else just aluminum. I fought Dan over it,then he finally said he would pay. When I went to get a check he would not pay me. I'm his neighbor on Abel's lane right down the street. When they had the auction over everybody had to pick up their purchases. They had a forklift that leaked OIL everywhere including my neighbors on each side of me. I confronted Dan about it and he said they did not have a forklift at my building. We saw the forklift and the driver. We told Dan the two colors of the forklift and the description of the driver. We snooped around and saw the forklift in the back holding yard. Found the driver also. Dan still denied they used a forklift. Under intense pressure Dan finally admitted that he had his forklift there. Dan what are you going to do about all the oil all over the place. Dan said,I'm not cleaning it up. You have no idea what I went through with Dan nothing but lies again and again one after another, it never stopped. These guys are crookeder than the GREAT WALL OF CHINA. I had nothing but trouble from start to finish with them but DAN took the cake. DAN was nothing but a constant liar and a low life cheat. The person who answered the phone at CCPA 10/29/24 @ 4:30p should NOT be allowed to talk to people. RUDE!!! No common sense. CCPA made a mistake and gave us the wrong item. We tried to call multiple times with no answer. This man said there is nothing they can do about it given it is past the time of the auction. I said then credit my purchase back to my account... He said they can not. WHAT!!! OMG I have to pay for an item i didn't receive??? He said it was past the 24hr mark. WE TRIED TO CALL. I live in Northern Nevada and do many auctions here. Since my family has a second home in Vegas, I decided to try this auction and bring the items home. Beware that they take the photos in a way that it does not show damage. The auctions where I live tell you if it has any damage, they don't try to hide it. So that is what I am used to and expected the same at this one. I bought two items, both were damaged with cracks and chips and excessive grease and dirt. They were unloading a home in the area selling off everything. I can understand that they are not going to clean things but it is wise to mention it and also to tell the buyers the condition. One of the items went straight to the trash, the other was so dirty it took me two hours to clean it and it still had blemishes. I understand that they offer a preview but it is very limited hours and you need an appointment first. Since it was in the middle of the week when most people are working that is difficult to do. Two of the auctioneers on the live auction online were good but Duddly needs to go back to auctioneer school because you can't understand him at all. With him, it is hard to know where the bid is at any given moment and all his muttering just runs together. All you can do it watch the button and hope you are getting the right price. Don't buy from this auction because you can't trust the condition. On pickup, I was asked if I wanted to buy the china hutch for $100 when it sold on the auction for $350. They told me the buyer did not follow through. And I am sure I know why he backed out. The item was going for around $50 and the auctioneer wanted to bump the price higher so he told everyone online that they would deliver it. As soon as it stated that, the price started jumping. You think they had any intention to deliver a heavy piece of furniture to a buyer in the area when Vegas is so vast that it takes time just to get across the city? I doubt it. I would have taken a photo of the items I bought but one was white and hard to get a good shot with just a phone camera. The two cracks were hairline but it could fall apart at anytime and it had plenty of chips. Try some of the other auctions and pass on this one. read more

let me start by saying I really love auctions. This place could definitely use some helpful criticisms. I recently purchased a Capodimonte bowl, the pics they provided didn't show any apparent flaws, and there was nothing in the description. Having won I went down to their location picked up the item and lo and behold two nice chips in the most important part the hand formed flowers. I brought it to their attention and was told sorry ALL SALES ARE FINAL! And you need to come to the preview and inspect the items and it shows them in the picture. The guy then brings up the pictures and says see. I looked my hardest and I couldn't see anything in the picture. He then tells me he'll take it back but will charge me a 35% restocking charge, and I said fine, and hand him back the bowl. it is the first time I've ever dealt with them and told him so. I did get my credit and they didn't charge me the restocking fee which was honorable of them. What I wish they would consider is that it's not really convenient to go to a preview when you live 20 plus miles away and that the photos they provide should show any flaws or should be described as with such. I really want to bid with them but Im now hesitant if it's going to be such a hassle. I really felt by the young man's attitude that he was really stressing in a smug way " BUYER BEWARE!" Trying to go to the preview would be ideal if always possible, but it is not possible all the time. but remember a picture speaks a Thousand words, so how about some better pictures of obvious flaws.... read more

I lived in Henderson, NV for over 35 years. Since moving away, I still have dear friends who live there. I signed up for CC auction and I found something I wanted to place a bid. I won but it rejected my payment since my cc isn't a NV address. My girlfriend said she would pick it up. I called and spoke to Derek, who put me in touch with Steve. Derek was so nice. I spoke with Steve a few times, and he also meets with people who are interested in having an auction. Oh my, my friend needs help with that!! I asked Steve if he would talk with her when she picks it up today and he said absolutely. Steve is a wonderful employee and I appreciate his help. I'm living in Texas now and he was born in Texas. Customer service is the worst! I called them asking about an auction and they were so rude to me. I bid on items and didn't read the fine print about picking up the items I won. I clearly stated that when I called them but was inquiring if I could pick them up from their main location on Abel's Lane. I had little hope I could and I knew it was my fault for not clearly reading the pick up info, but when I called he was so rude to me! PLEASE READ!!!! As if this place needs anymore negative reviews, but I just can't with them anymore. I have been purchasing from Estate Sales and Auctions locally for decades. In the last few years, I have noticed that things have changed, significantly here at Clark. I am the type of bidder who used to leave Max bids and leave them, hoping to win for much less, which I usually did. My first RED flag arose when I started winning ALL and I mean EVERY SINGLE thing I placed a max bid on but for my MAX bid. An item would be at $5, I'd place a $150 max bid and win it for $150 (prior I'd win things for more like $35). This caused me to start looking at bid history and noticing patterns. There would CONTINUALLY, be 1 and ONLY 1 bidder, bidding against me, and magically they would stop bidding right before my MAX bid. This was fine, whatever, so I quit winning things for dirt cheap, but hey at least I was still winning, right? As months went on, my curiosity rose, this was no longer a coincidence. So I started tuning in to the live auctions and paying VERY VERY close attention to bidding (especially paddle numbers), the auctioneers patterns and how they magically would draw out the bidding process when certain paddle numbers were the lead bidders, leading me to believe there has to be house/ghost bidders. I continued to tune in and continued to watch. I realized, more often than not, this was happening at Off-site Auctions. Then I noticed that items, especially HIGH VALUE items with low bids, were all being drivin up by the same bidder aka the ghost bidder, then when it seems that bidding had reached a standstill, the auctioneers spend an EXCESSIVE amount of time, sometimes 10 minutes or more, trying to get someone else to bid, to no avail, forcing them to move on. Sticking the ghost bidder with the item. Then one day, it all came to light. I happened to be onsite to pickup my items late on the last day of pickup to witness Clark County employees loading ALL those SAME ITEMS, All those items that the ghost bidder got stuck with, on to a truck and driven away by one of Clark's employees. Fast forward a few weeks, these same items magically appeared at in person estate sale hosted by Premier Estate Sales and Auctions. Fast forward a few more weeks, a few of these same items that didn't sell at the estate sale, was back at Clark County, this time, selling to a rightful buyer at a fraction of the cost. I have watched this happen time and time again. And I'm not one to name names, but these patterns all started to occur when Susan Russell of Premiere started pushing her estate sales through Clark County Auctions and continues to this day. With this past Saturday's auction, 3/9/24, being no EXCEPTION. The ghost bidder was clearly paddle 630, and I guarantee this is Clark County, Susan herself or someone she pays to bid on her behalf, with VERY specific bidding instructions. I ended up not buying a single thing, because of how blatantly obvious the ghost bidding was. THIS IS HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE ON THE BEHALF OF CLARK COUNTY AUCTIONS AND PREMIERE. And as a loooooong time customer this is very disheartening, but I feel someone needed to speak up!!! read more

I'd give a -0 if I could. Done being yelled at and hung up on by them. Started going here several years ago and almost everytime they would lose one or more of my items. More recently, I bid on 2 auctions in the last 2 years and both were bad. I NEVER receive an invoice for the items I win. Since both were on-site auctions, after they charge you, you're supposed to get the address on where to pick up items. I didn't and had only about 4 hours left to pick up and decided to call the office. Same disrespectful person I've spoke to before answered the phone. Told me they sent one after the auction and another this morning. I told him I didn't get one. As I'm on the phone, he says "I sent it again. I sent it again" and just kept arguing with me. WHY would I lie? All I want is the address to pick up my stufff. They have my email address correct so I don't understand what the problem is and why they have to be so rude and condescending when you call and tell them you didn't get it. Finally says as a one time courtesy? he'll text it to me. As I was talking, he hung up on me. He did send it and I was able to go over and collect my items. NEVER again. He's nasty and he doesn't even come out to apologize when you go to the warehouse do not go to this auction house. He is horrible. They should've fired him a long time ago. I will never purchase anything from this company again, and I would highly suggest looking elsewhere to sell your belongings. We purchased 10 Baccarat glasses in 3 separate lots ($576), and EVERY SINGLE ONE was chipped or cracked. No cracks were shown in any of the ten item photos, and nothing was mentioned during the online auction. They were shown to be in perfect condition. Any collector or real auction house knows that once the glass is broken, it's worth absolutely nothing. My husband called the auction house to explain the problem, and the gentleman on the phone was extremely rude and told us he would do nothing. Absolutely nothing. We've purchased through this auction house many times, and we understand things aren't always perfect, but this was a straight scam. They know what they did by hiding all of the cracks in every picture. We had one other problem with this company years ago (the ball ended up being fake after paying to get it authenticated), but the lady that used to work there was very nice about it and refunded our money. We were out the price for authentication, but we were okay with that since she cared. That good business practice led to us spending thousands after the false listing. The majority of the staff at Clark County Public Auction are polite and will do anything within their power to answer a question or help with a matter; however, the guy in the office is rude, nasty, condescending and generally has no manners. I bought a new Lenovo computer at a live internet auction and asked the auctioneer at that time if it was running Windows 11 and was assured it was. When I went to pick up the computer, it was running Windows 10. I didn't know if this computer even had the components to download Windows 11 so because it had been misrepresented, I asked for my money back. I was treated so poorly by this guy, I hate dealing with him. I also bought a lot of shoes for my grandson and found a pair was missing. The same treatment. I called and told him I was missing a pair and he told me someone would reach out to me. I asked if he needed my contact information, he said they have it. How? I wish they'd fire this guy. Beware. Terrible disturbing experience. Bought fragile figurine that arrived broken. Before bidding asked them if would ship the figurine, told me yes, even though it is always a risk with fragile items, said will do their best to pack. Filed UPS claim and Tina got insurance money a while ago but refuses to pay it to me. Lost all my money. Tina would make up a whole bunch of false stories and false facts that hard to believe how business owner can even do. At first denied that got insurance money, and after said UPS rep advised her to keep money and don't pay it to me. Very rude and unprofessional. Called me with bunch of abusive words. I received a text this morning saying I needed to pick up my order or it would be sent back for auction on Monday. Didn't know I had anything in the auction and the notice must've gone to my spam email. I drove 40 minutes out there for them to tell me that they couldn't find it and must have sold it again. Needless to say I will be no longer be following this auction! Very disappointed! Over an 1.5 hours round trip and still got charged for item I didn't get! Ugh! read more

I have been going to auctions for over 40 years and never had an auctioneer say "sold" then reopen the bidding! This happened to me and when I commented that he said "sold", his response was "I will always take more money". So unprofessional! Also, comments were made that bidders must not have the good sense of items when no one was raising the bids. Too much chatter about buyers not bidding. I ended up with 3 lots and never received an invoice. I called and left a message with Tina and never got a response. Pick up of items was on Monday and Tuesday and I finally got my invoice on Monday. I live 100+ miles away and decided to go on Tuesday as there would more than likely be less people picking up. I get there and they can't find my paperwork and tell me that since I lived out of state they probably shipped my items. I told them that I had not selected shipping and why would they assume I wanted them shipped? I was told all out of state items get shipped. Then I was told that I had to wait for Tina to get back from lunch to figure everything out. Suddenly they find my invoice and my items. The workers that find your items are great, very helpful but the management and those in charge are not. With so many options available I choose to spend my money with better auctioneers. read more

I have now for the fourth time in a row, taken what I won at this auction and thrown it straight in the trash. All items are mishandled, abused, and broken. DO NOT bid on anything online without going down there and seeing it first. They won't tell you it's broken, but you will find out it is after you pay for it and pick it up. The place is a mess, good luck getting one of these guys to help you find you stuff. Stuff is thrown around everywhere. Online auction is a rip off. They don't tell you that it's all damaged stuff. I called Mario who is the owner of this auction gallery and he referred me to Dudley who is the Antique and Collectible expert for the company. Dudley got right back to me, came out and assisted me in getting my antiques sold quickly and for the best prices. The company sent their truck with two movers and they were nothing less than professional and efficient! I would like a shout out to Max who accurately recorded every item and I was amazed at how he and his partner worked tirelessly to remove a large armoire out to the truck without damaging the piece or the doorway. Amazing! In addition, they did a wonderful job in packing the truck as well. I highly recommend this company for their customer service and expertise. This place is awesome. I mean, it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but something about it speaks to the thrifty and competitive instincts in me. Here's how it works: 1) You go online to get the highlights. You need to see what they are gong to have on display that week. The good stuff (ie diamond jewelry, collectibles, and designer decor) will all be posted online. http://www.clarkcountypublicauctions.com/index.html. They always have at least one car (a few weeks ago it was a Mercedes SUV), a ton of figurines, bedroom sets, appliances, tools, coins, and odd (unappealing) artwork. 2) Set a budget. Seriously. If you are like me and you tend to get caught up in the thrill of the "kill", you will need to decide ahead of time what your cut off will be. I never leave without making a purchase and I rarely need (or even want) the item I walk away with. 3) Optional: Show up n Friday between 12 PM and 6PM for a preview. Check out the goods without the crowd. 4) Arrive on Saturday at 9:30 AM and pay your fee to get your bidding card. Bidding used to be free. But the last time I stopped by, they required $100 CASH deposit in order to bid. That money it all returned to you if you don't make a purchase. If you do, you can use a card to buy your goods an get your cash back. They will also take a picture of your ID before assigning you an auction card. 5) Take another look around, take a seat, and get ready for the show. The auction begins at 10:00 AM. Here's where it gets tricky. If your item is not being auctioned off right away, you might have to wait. The mattress and large furniture will generally go later. But you can speak with some of the guys working around the room and ask if they will bump your items up on the list. The employees will work with you and do their best to work with you. 6) Raise your card and get in on the auction. But don't raise it unless you are ready to get in--these guys will call you out for wasting their time. 7) Pay for your goods (same window where you left your $100 CASH deposit), and pick up your items. If the items are too large to carry in your vehicle, there are a number of representatives from delivery businesses on hand to help you arrange for delivery. Generally delivery can cost around $40. It's only a good deal if you are spending enough to make it worth your while. Keep your expectations of the goods low. Don't get me wrong there are deals to be had. The problem is that professional ebayers and local shop owners will have already assessed the value of many of the items and they will be bidding for those items that they want. And they are out in force. Plus, unless they have items on hand from a recent estate, the products start to look the same. The pros at the auction don't bother me a bit. I love raising my card and letting the savvy auctioneer acknowledge my $10 bid while pushing the man in the corner to raise his bid to $11 "I have $10, do I hear $11." I love it. The men who run the auction are total pros--I love the liveliness and the culture there. The auctioneers are salesmen and their frantic calling while an item is up just drives me to want to get in on the frenzy. It's brilliant. The last time I was there, I missed out on bidding on a desktop that went for $35. It may or may not have worked (I've purchased a few duds), but for $35, I may have been willing to be risky. I certainly didn't need the vase that I left with. You should arrive early and peruse the merchandise. There will be new items and slightly used items. There will be junk and occasionally, there will be gems. You have to go in with a sense of what you are willing to spend. And if you need to be around the "right" people, leave the auction to the rest of us. This place is a bit grimy and the people are down home. Unlike me, many are not coming to "enjoy an experience" they are actually coming to buy a bed, or some artwork for their homes or small businesses. I can't wait for auctions to become the new retro trend. It's like garage sale shopping for lazy people. I get to sit and have the merch paraded in front of me? Like I am bargain shopping royalty? And eat my nachos at the same time? Sign me up. I've been debating between 4 and 5 stars. I enjoy the auction that much. But I am a people watcher and I love the old-school drama of the place. It takes a certain about of patience and time and energy to participate in an auction. There will not likely be a lot of tweeting and Yelping going on in this place. But there is an old-fashioned (circa 1983) charm here. If you are a thrift shopper, enjoy being around all types of people, and can't control yourself around a bargain this might be the place for you.
