I'd leave zero stars if I could. Clark's is the most unprofessional, unorganized company I have ever come across. They only care about money. We reached out over a month ago to request a service for my elderly grand parents as my grandfather was coming home from the hospital from surgery and we wanted the issue taken care of before he got home. After several phone calls of trying to get an inspection done (even though my grandparents have a monthly reoccurring service) they came back in the last minute saying they could possibly fit them in the day my grandfather was coming home but made it very clear we needed to pay their $1000 fee (that did not include follow up visits if needed) before they could possibly fit them in. I have been with Clark for about 8 years now and have nothing but great things to say about this company! I live in a rural suburban home with lots of undeveloped land around me, which means lots of mice and other critters. Every time I see or hear rodent evidence my technician, Garrett, comes out immediately to service my property. He is kind, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, always goes above and beyond and always follows up with me to make sure the problem is no longer a problem. Clark Pest Control is great when it comes to dealing with actual pest control. DO NOT USE if you need traps in your attic or removal/ reinstallation of your attic insulation. They "sub" the work out to another company and mark the other companies price up 2.4 times!!! That is literally what the sales rep admitted after I reviewed the quote with him. The " sub" quoted $ 5885.00 to Clark and Clark quoted me $ 14000.00. They added $ 8115.00 to the quote and Clark has NO liability or expense whatsoever for the scope of work on the insulation. I have a large yard. 6/17/2025 Clark charged me $450 to spray for spider mites "as a one time service." One month later I have spider mites (this treatment should last the season). I called and I was told that if I wanted some one to come back out I would have to sign up for there annual program which is six hundred dollars. I asked if they could apply my one time service towards the annual program. The person on the phone told me it was up to the tech. I asked him to have the tech call me. He never did. I called back and I was told that a supervisor would have to make the decision that some one would call me back. No one did. I am currently looking for a new pest control company that returns client's phone calls and who's expensive treatments last more than a month. read more

We've had clark for 3 years. This year they are unable to stop ant infestations outside/inside. They came and left granules and sprayed the exterior a few times but ants still Everywhere. Long wait times on the phone to get through to them, had a very difficult time cancelling their service contract so I could move on to another company that hopefully can control our and issues. Clark Pest Control employees are simply the BEST. Recently, due to the hot weather, we've had an ant infestation in our kitchen and bathrooms. We were scheduled for Noel to come out today between 1:00 and 4:00 to treat our house for these ants. However, we have a friend in the hospital who is very ill and we wanted to visit her today. I called and talked to Heather and asked if she could give me a more specific time that Noel might be coming out today. She contacted Noel who was out in the field and reported back that he would be here at 1:00. Great - but even better - Noel called us back and said if it would help us out, he would postpone his lunch hour and come sooner. He was here within minutes and treated our home, inside and out. Because of Heather and Noel, we were able to leave early to visit our friend. This office and service is the best we have ever had. I have so many good things to say about Clark and their tech Anthony. He came to my house after I thought I had an unfortunate pest problem. The treatment necessary was going to be rather costly. I called Anthony with a question and he came back to my house for a re-inspection. My pest problem was not what I had originally thought. Anthony's honesty saved me $2200. We signed up for a year of service, and we were impressed with the follow-up in the office, and how quickly they were able to get us on the schedule. We don't have any pest issues, and we want to keep it that way. We didn't plan ahead for the inside spray, so we had to reschedule that for the following week, so we actually had 2 different people come out. The first guy was great. He discussed the process, and issues that might arise after the outside spray. We have pets and children so we appreciated his attention to detail. The 2nd guy called ahead also when he was a few minutes out, and that's always appreciated. He took just a few minutes inside and let us know when he was finished and we had to stay out of the house 2 hours. He didn't wear any protective gear, gloves or a mask inside while spraying, so I am curious about what kind of spray was used. read more

I have use Clark pest control for many years and have had their contract service. I've never really had a complaint until the last couple of months. When they came out I had to call for return visits a couple of times because the ants did not clear out. I had to call them out for service at the end of April on the second call again. I left for a vacation on April 25. Out of the country I didn't get my phone service for several days and on the 26 was sent a message that they were coming out for service. Was not able to respond and did not know the service happened until after the fact. They sent me an invoice. I canceled the service starting in February March April because I knew I was going to be out of the country and I called every month speaking to several people and every single one of them told me it was noted in the file that my service will be canceled at the end of April. I emailed the company telling them that I had not authorized the service and they had just been out a week before so I did not understand them coming out. I also told them that I spoke with several people that I did not want the contract renewed at the end of April. I was assured it was taken care of. Nancy Smithee sent me back a curt message indicating that my April service was regular scheduled service even though I'd had a call out a week before. In any event I told her I would pay it but I did not want any more unsolicited services. She told me I had never told them about my canceling the service. I get billed an invoice for this service when I had been on contract and never billed for the prior three years or more. I told her the invoice alone proved my point that I have canceled the service or I would not of been billed. She did not show any empathy or understanding of any sort. So obviously her staff did not tell me the truth for three months. Very disappointed in the treatment a long-standing customer receives. All I can suggest is if you cancel the service get it in writing. read more

I needed fast service as my house developed a rather annoying fly problem out of the blue one night. I called around and pretty much everyone told me that the only way they would come out was if I signed up for their subscription service for regular pest control. That was until I called this business! They got me an emergency appointment in less than 12 hours and it was free!! The gentleman who came out checked out the issue, recommended a fix, and let me handle it. Great service! Even before covid I wasn't impressed with my service. I paid for weed control in my front yard and I constantly call them back as per my contract to get the very bare minimum service around my yard. Basically my kids are still pulling all the Weeds. Then I let the guy know about red ant hills we have, wasp nest starting and a pretty big black ant issue with our garage and kitchen. Wasps I took care of myself because his spray didn't work. He did make our red ant problem go away. But the bait he used for the black ants made our issue worse than it's ever been. We called them back because now they're everywhere!! But due to covid-19 they no longer come into my house. Terrible customer service. We had service in July for ants and spiders on the patio area. Called customer service for a follow up visit a couple weeks later as we couldn't even sit outside without ants crawling on us. There were thousands of them and this was after service! I was informed no following up until I paid the invoice. I said why pay for service that clearly didn't work. As soon as someone came back out we would pay the invoice. They would not come fix the problem and when I refused to pay until fixed they sent me to collections. I have since paid the invoice and my only recourse is to let others know to pick someone else for their pest issues. read more

I reached out to multiple pest control business in the Reno/sparks area and Clark pest control returned my call immediately and had a tech out the next day. They were thorough with their inspections, detailed with there explanations and spot on with their pricing. We had multiple services done including preventive mouse traps, insect spraying, and a vole problem in our grass. They took care of each. The tech also recommended we change out our weather stripping on our garage doors to stop any creatures from making it a home through the winter. I hate bugs in my house... And therefore I love these guys. I have never had any bugs/spider problems since we moved into our house and started using their pest control services almost four years ago. During that time they have worked around our schedules, given exceptional service, and never raised our rates. They also go above and beyond every time they come. Here's an example of the type of comments they leave on our invoice "treated the back yard including shed. Moved your emptied trash cans into your side yard. Don't forget to get the package from your front porch". How very thoughtful notes like that are! It isn't their job to let me know Amazon left me a package or take my trash cans back in on garbage day. The kind of customer service you really don't expect but definitely deserve! Called Clark for spiders and I had seen a mouse a few times. Aaron came out and did an amazing check over the house and found that that we had wasp building nests all under our eves even found where ants where starting to come though our fence! He explained how everything was getting in and where he even blocked an area where mice had dug a whole near our plumbing and set traps safely where our dogs couldn't get hurt, he took his time to make sure I understood everyhing from how he was gonna spray to how they come put every few months or even in between if there is any sign that they missed anything. We tried another pest control company in the area. They were expensive and they destroyed my just cleaned windows by spraying huge amounts of liquid all over my eves. We had a mouse problem and they didn't take care of that either. We called Clark and their technician came right out, offered to crawl under our house and found where the mice were getting in. He sealed it, set traps and treated around our house without destroying our windows. They do a great job, and they do it with a great attitude!! read more

Although Debra, the person doing my actual pest control has been awesome, the company manager in Reno (David) is very difficult at best to communicate with. I needed special consideration for my Koi pond when spraying the trees, he was absolutely unwilling to use any common sense and told me I should just cancel my contract. He was actually very rude. Since I have a large property and I had being paying them large amounts of money it surprised me that he really does not care about the customer. I cancelled my contract, spoke with a licensed arborist who indicated that the trees were being over treated and suggested I try CAD a local Reno company who has an arborist on the payroll. read more

Last year I contracted with Clark to provide my Condo Association with Spider Spraying services, and they agreed to a price for the following year. When I called to schedule the appointment, they refused service unless I agreed to a new substantially increased price, claiming that the technician misquoted [a year ago] and they would not honor his contractually quoted price. Their Dishonest behavoir, and failure to honor a legal contract, left the association in the awkward position of having to try to re-bid for replacement services so late in the season that spider control was not possible for the season. If you are in business and do not honor committments, you are unreliable, dishonest and you waste people's time. Use them at your own risk! read more
