We got a couple drinks here and the girl working was just the sweetest. The strawberry açaí refresher was flavorful and definitely refreshing. The lavender lemonade was super delicious and the iced latte with white chocolate and peppermint was able to hit the spot. It is small inside so not a place to stay and sit. read more

The draw was the Friends logo and name- but nothing other than that was reminiscent of Friends. I will start by saying that the coffee was good. The breakfast sandwich left much to desire- pretty tasteless and greasy. The kicker for me was from the annoyance on the cashiers face when my boyfriend was checking out on a $40 bill of two lattes and two mediocre breakfast sandwiches and when he chose not to tip on his card. I'm not saying that there is a right or wrong here but we shouldn't have to feel obligated to tip when we are literally grabbing and going. You don't know if your patron is going to tip with cash so you shouldn't be so quick to throw a look of disgust and so for that I would not recommend. (If you're the store owner or manager- we came in on the 4th of July around 7:45am) read more

I ordered a maple flavored latte and it was pretty good, albeit too sweet but can't complain considering I did order maple flavor. Unfortunately there weren't many options of nearly anything to eat. Other than that what really brought me in was the name and the logo honestly, because I'm a big friends fan but sadly inside there wasnt much going for the theme. The service was great. read more

This is definitely a get-it-to-go place with only one tiny table and two chairs inside. My hot latte was delicious and service was quick. Outside of the shop is so cute. Easy place to get coffee in the heart of downtown. read more

Acadia Perk is such a cute coffee spot in Bar Harbor with a fun vibe! We grabbed some seasonal fall coffees from here and they were great. There's not much seating so it's definitely a takeout spot to grab coffee and food before you explore the area. Our drinks came out quickly even though it was a busy morning. It's a bit on the pricier side especially since we only got small sizes. Overall a good spot to check out! read more

The space is tiny but the drinks have huge favor. Of course we had to try the signature drink, a Blueberry Macchiato. It was absolutely divine, the blue berry flavor was so present. For the cafe itself, there is only one table and it has two chairs so don't count on sitting inside here to enjoy your drink. They have a small display with stickers, treats to go, and their own coffee blends. Service might be a bit slow if theres only one person working but it was worth the wait in my opinion! read more

Don't waste your time here. Tiny spot with only two or 3 seats, and overpriced. I asked for a small hot latte with one pump of hazelnut, and it cost me $7! Then when I got my drink it was so sweet I couldn't even drink it, I threw it out after two sips. It tastes like hot sweet water. If you like good coffee, this isn't the spot for you. read more

This place was freaking awesome!!! We came after a hike in Acadia and needed refuel. It's a small coffee shop with limited seating but the barista was kind and helpful! I don't leave reviews. But I felt compelled. I'm a coffee professional, and certified coffee quality control expert (aka, Q grader). I went in on a slow morning, my group had the only 3 people inside. I ordered an iced mocha with oat milk. Pretty standard. There is a massive espresso machine in the shop, and they didn't use it. Rather, they had a cambro container with a spigot, with an unknown coffee product sitting on top of their iced coffee container and they added that as the espresso for my iced mocha. Do I think they brewed 8qts of espresso? No. I'm sure it was instant stirred into water and left sat there. $8 for my latte and I poured the entire thing out. I encourage you to walk down the street to ChocoLatte. read more

They had a lot of drink options but they weren't actually the real drinks. The matcha was not green at all it was basically a sugar powder concentrate and the "maple chai latte" was a pump of maple flavoring and a pump of chai flavoring - no real chai or matcha at all. I wouldn't have been so upset but my total for one drink was $9.50 for sugar milk! The place was clean and the staff were nice but those were the only redeeming qualities. read more

As a fan of friends I was so excited to see this cafe in Bar Harbor! The coffee was tasty and a great cream to sweetness ratio. The location is right across from the Village Green so you can easily grab your fix and picnic in the grass, go looking through the nearby shops (some shops may prohibit drinks while browsing) or even take a reflective coffee stroll down to the pier. We needed a quick coffee for our drive home and Acadia Perk was the closest coffee shop to us, so we decided to stop by for a quick grab n' go. The coffee shop itself is the cutest -- tucked in in the center of Bar Harbor, it feels like you're in a movie when you walk in on a chilly Fall day. The service was also top notch -- we quickly got our coffee and the people working here were friendly and welcoming. We ordered two black coffees, nothing fancy. Unfortunately they were both... hard to drink. What were supposed to be hot coffees ended up lukewarm, and the taste was just off. It almost tasted like old coffee. My partner and I are not very picky when it comes to coffee, but even so we struggled to finish these. read more

I ran out of Roaming Data and couldn't Yelp search a coffee place in Bar Harbor on my phone. THE HORRoR!!! A shop employee suggested Acadia Perk. Acadia Perk is small and adjacent to the Town Green. I don't remember inside seating, and even if there was a table or two, it's really a takeout coffee place. Acadia Perk seems geared to attracting tourists who want a coffee fix rather than serious coffee drinkers. The name seems to be a riff on " Central Perk" from the TV show "Friends". In addition, they sell colorful bags of " Acadia Perk" coffee. I asked, and they don't roast their own beans. They said somebody else roasts them and then they sell them in Acadia Perk bags. This novelty might be appealing to many tourists, but I'd prefer to know the roaster and have the roaster's name on the bag like most high end coffee shops do. Service was OK, but not particularly inviting. The iced coffee was better than I thought it would be. They used a dark blend roast they call "Beehive". I picked up some dark chocolate notes. If you need coffee, I think Acadia Perk is fine. I will check my other options next time I'm in that area before going again. read more

The sign outside says "Coffee/Espresso/Pastries. But if you are in search of an espresso, don't go there. Cafe is very cute, the kid behind the counter very friendly, the pastries look good. I ordered 2 quad espressos. After a short confusion the young man charged me $15.07. That hurt, but I'm thinking, they probably never get that request, he must have made a mistake, fine. What I got was 2 cups with about 6 to 8 oz of brown tepid liquid, no crema, no aroma, thin, old drip coffee maker looking beverage that tasted even worse. The free hotel coffee is 100 times better than what I got. Acadia Perk, please stick to the pastries and regular coffee, and do not sell espresso. Or learn how to choose the beans, grind it, make it. It's not about the money, though I would have rather given those 15 bucks to a homeless person, if there were any in Bar Harbor, it's about the disappointment of having a beautiful morning ruined. read more

AND! the bagel was just so damn tasty. I like me some bagels lol The staff was so friendly. Just a happy place. The restaurant/bakery itself is so homey. It's very small...so if you wanna get there in the morning like so many do...go as early as you can if you wanna sit down. It's very comfortable in there. It's like a cute little cottage and you just kind of expect to see your adorable little grandma come out with the most amazing breakfast ever with her acting all sweet and grandma-like lol. I only wish I had discovered this place the first day we had gotten there. I would have been a regular for sure. What a pleasant little spot. Seriously, I just loved it and highly recommend anyone and everyone go here for their breakfast. They also have lots of like cookies and shit. I was so proud of myself...I held back and didn't get any even though I could have easily bought one of everything lol. It can get crowded quick because it's got the curb appeal and some of the other local coffee houses equally seem to struggle with consistent recipe-quality. The pastries in here will be something I'd like to go back for. Cookies the size of my head and fresh blueberry crisp. Yummmm. They also had dog treats which we will go back for. Staff was full of energy, including singing a bit with the store music. Nice way to start the day.
