Animals who are trapped in the wild can suffer for days from blood loss, shock, dehydration, frostbite, gangrene, and attacks by predators. They may be caught in steel-jaw traps that slam down on their legs, often cutting to the bone; Conibear traps, which crush their necks with 90 pounds of pressure per square inch. They certainly don't need to sell fur at Escape Outdoors. I will never buy anything at this horrible store that support animal cruelty.

For an item that is advertised at full price, the customer expects the item to be in "pristine" condition. It's wonderful to have options such as an affordable store like Big 5. We come here often and they've helped us find the best inflatable paddle boards, life jackets, swim suits and rash guards, running shoes, a bike pump and a really nice basketball. The staff has always been helpful and nice. Someone tended to the athletic shoes dept who actually knew what they were talking about. Honestly, this is more than I expected from an affordable sports store. We are glad they are there and will continue to support them when we don't need the high end sports equipment.
