All I wanted was to find an eye doc and staff that would help and listen. Finding a pair of glasses has always been difficult for me. This experience started off hopeful, but after I got my glasses it went downhill! I paid a WHOLE LOT of money for a pair of glasses that have been nothing but trouble and are now causing my vision to be worse. Each time I went back for an adjustment and / or expressed my concerns / worries in regards to how the glasses were working out for me, it always ended with "give it a little longer". On my final visit I was told my glasses were no longer under warranty. OF COURSE NOT! Yes, I accept my part in not knowing the exact date my warranty expired, but as mentioned, when I would go in for assistance I was trusting the experts. It became harder for me to express my concerns as I was now starting to feel very much like a number and once they got my money my concerns were not important enough to be heard. This may not be the case for everyone, but was for me. If anyone knows of an eye doc and staff that truly want to help, please let me know.

We were both happily impressed! The entire staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly. The eye exams were thorough, they took the time to answer questions and address concerns. The facility is clean, decorated nicely, and has a relaxing atmosphere. I had been told at two aforementioned places that I needed cataract surgery. This doctor explained that yes, I have slight cataracts, but that for now most of my burry vision issues are from dry eye and would be much improved with regular use of eye-drops, and surgery wouldn't be needed for a few years. Great news to me! Turns out I don't need distance correction enough to warrant it, but it was an option if I wanted it, so I opted for readers. He explained that store bought readers have the same strength for both eyes, while prescription readers are tailored to each eye. That makes sense, I simply hadn't thought about it like that. We are more than pleased with our experience at Resler-Kerber and highly recommend them!

A very calming demeanor for an anxious person like myself. She answered all my questions, and she made sure to ask about my medical history and what meds I was taking to ensure I had and accurate, healthy eye exam. She keeps my off site and BJC medical doctors informed of my status. Her optic assistants were all great, thorough and professional. The office intake staff are professional and accommodating to patient needs. I would recommend COHEN ASSOCIATES if you want excellent care.

Edit: I received a call from Dr. Dowdy and am amending my review. He reached out not to ask me to change it but to help find a satisfactory resolution to my concerns. Once upon a time ago LensCrafters inside the Galleria carried Chanel but they no longer do. But…read morethat's ok because LensCrafters is out of network with my insurance company. I had contacted Chanel to see if anyone in the area carried Chanel optical frames and they referred me to Optical Expressions! I was a little skeptical on traveling far (Mind you, I traveled about an hour just to get my eye exam and frames. It's well worth the two hour trip to and from home). but they have a huge selection of frames which is awesome! More than I expected actually. Anyways, upon arriving, I was greeted and helped by Lisa and literally a month later she still as sweet as can be. The frames I wanted, were not in stock and she had ordered them for me. She told me it usually takes 15 days since they're being ordered out of the US. They came in an week later! Faster than I expected which was awesome. So instead of me traveling back out there, she had mailed them to me which was a huge plus! The glasses also arrived within two days after they had my lens made. She was just awesome from the start!!! I also had Dr. Julie to do my exam, she was super nice and friendly! I would highly recommend both ladies. Actually the entire staff was very friendly! So I found Overland on Yelp and realized I had driven by it a zillion times without even realizing it. The staff are very friendly and prompt. He was very helpful in understanding what I was unhappy with in my last set of contacts and is currently working with me to find the right contact lenses for me.
