Wanted to replace my sun glass lenses with photo sensitive lenses, didn't realize it would cost as much as new frames and lenses

My family member had a great experience at this location and on their website, so I decided it was time to give them a try for myself. I'd been wanting new glasses for awhile now, so I visited on a Friday afternoon and ended up ordering a pair that same day. The employees were all very kind and friendly. They answered all my questions and were very knowledgeable. I am generally pretty indecisive, especially when it comes to something like glasses, so I appreciate that they were very patient with me and didn't mind that I basically tried every pair in the whole store! I will say that the employee I interacted with the most was on the borderline of being a tad too pushy for my personal preference, but I appreciated her thoroughness, and I know she was just trying to help as much as possible. Under her recommendation, I ended up getting a pair that I never would've picked out for myself but ultimately loved once I actually tried them on! When I finally selected which frames I wanted to order, they asked for my information, as well as my eye doctor's information to request my prescription. They told me that my glasses would be shipped to my home in 5-7 business days. The whole process was very straightforward, convenient, and stress-free. I also love how you have 30 days to return or exchange your glasses if you change your mind. Highly recommend Warby Parker if you're on the hunt for a new pair of glasses. I lost my warby parker glasses therefore ordered another pair. I had them for a month or so and scratched the lense. Not Warby's issue, and they do have a warranty for scratches in the first 6 months which they honored. That being said, it's stated up front that it can take 2 months to get them back...that's a very long time to put in a lense in a frame I think but hey, it was free. On Jan 2nd, I received an email that they will be shipped out in 7-10 days. As of today, I heard again they were shipped to the store, then I was told they were waiting on a reply from the store that they were not shipped, and then I heard they broke the frame (but had a new one in stock). I'm leaving on vacation (driving) and asked they since they had mishandled the order if they could expedite the order and over night them to me. NOPE, they could not and are not. Had an awesome experience here in December. I have frames from here, but this time we went in to get my wife some new glasses. First, the space is so clean and well maintained. Warby's glasses are so easy to choose from because they're perfectly separated by type. All of their glasses are gender neutral, which I love. Why do glasses need genders anyway? The staff is always so helpful. The lady that helped us recently, literally had us in and out in a half hour. That includes the generous portion of time my wife spent picking out her glasses. They can do a quick eye exam. They work with our insurance. The whole transaction was pleasing and simple. Lots of smiling faces ! Very friendly - totally incompetent. Overcharged my wife's glasses by over $200 ( afterwards the online customer service people fixed that ). Charged me $225 instead of $145 ( that actually was the "correct" charge - because they charge $80 for sunglasses prescription- Although they never said anything about that - nor does it say anything about that on the website - and even the person at Warby Parker Customer Service had to check with their superiors because they didn't know it either ! ) Put the wrong prescription on my wife's order - and then cancelled my order after I left !! The online customer service people were baffled and had to place the order themselves ! Sometimes there is a reason things are so easy - because they are done carelessly. read more

Warby Parker is a perfect blend of trendy and classic styles and I can't imagine coming in and not finding something. I however, am awful at picking glasses. I have two pairs of warby parker glasses that I ordered from the app and that was a good experience. After chatting with them over the app about having a cleaning service done on my clear haskell lenses, they said that the warby parker store locations can do that. I came to this location and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. They cleaned the insides of my clear lenses and tightened the screws for free (they look brand new), got out upwards of 20 pairs of glasses, and helped me narrow down the ones I liked, all while being super friendly and supportive. They helped me through purchasing a pair, and that in itself was an extremely easy process, plus the prices for prescription lenses are very affordable. I loved my experience here, everyone was so friendly and nice. I would so recommend visiting this warby parker location! read more

This place is great. There are more of these stores popping up everywhere and I hope it continues to grow. I've worn glasses since '95 and so I've had my share of glasses purchases. This location is was extremely fast, nice, and helpful. The staff was kind, even though we showed up 15 minutes prior to close. We were in and out in about 25 minutes, frames ordered. Ultimately the price is what's crazy. My glasses AND frames were $85. Any other store sells the frames alone for no less $140 and any frames you would actually purchase for $200+. These glasses are stylish and varied. This place was excellent. I'm not going to get my glasses anywhere else. read more

I sadly had a bad experience! :( Every pair of glasses that I have owned for the past several years have been Warby Parker. Let's just say I am a BIG fan. And when a store opened in St. Louis in our neighborhood last year, I was so excited! Well, that was until a very unpleasant experience happened. It was almost Christmas time and I wanted to give my younger brother a gift certificate to Warby Parker. Well, I went into the store one afternoon and told the sales rep that I wanted a $25 gift card to the store. She looked at me and said "Sorry, the minimum gift card amount we allow is $50.00." I said, "Really? I just needed it for $25.00." She said "Yeah, because the cheapest thing we sell here is $95.00" (Looking at me like I was stupid, and almost not good enough to be in there.) I said, "Yes, ummm I know that? It's for my brother. I wanted to give him $25 to go toward the glasses he wants." She said "Yeah, sorry, we only $50, $75, $100..." I said, "okay then nevermind." She said "Yeah, sorry." With a feel-sorry-for-you look. Well then I turned left the store. Your cheapest thing you sell is $95 so you won't give a $25 gift card? Who does that? Don't you just enter the amount and scan the card to put that amount on the gift card? Who cares if I wanted $25, $30, $50? I was giving Warby Parker money, and in turn they were about to get a new customer (my brother) in there to buy a pair of glasses. Well, they lost that customer. read more
