A friend wanted to try the restaurant, so off we went. The restaurant is located on 144th street: frontage road in the SW corner of the OakView Mall property. I was greeted by the hostess upon entry. He was already enjoying the chips and salsa when I arrived. I didn't try them. We were seated in a booth. Interior was traditional (dark wood) with booths and tables. TVs were hung for entertainment. We each began with the margarita flight of four. I would definitely order it again. We declined the table side guacamole. I had the Del Mar seafood entree and he had the pork belly tacos. Mine was 3/5 (I like Roja's version much better; different prep and less use of seasoning). My friend said his tacos were delicious. Service was friendly and timely. I rate 3 stars but gave 4 based on dinner partner's impression. I would return and try something else like mahi mahi tacos with the flight next time. read more

If you are a local and have not tried this place! You are missing out! Service is amazing and their table side made to order guacamole is a must!! The rice is so light and flavorful and the chicken is seasoned so well, along with the sauce that is used. SO good. Not hot just flavored so well. This is my second time here in three days came for the food. While my 1st margarita was a bit watered down. My second was spot on. Skinny margarita. One of the salsa bowls was chipped so they do need to keep an eye on that. The restaurant itself the chair and booths are nice and the bar is well stocked. There isn't a thing to be negative about with Clase Codigo. Food and service is excellent along with an inviting and clean environment.

My husband and I are still talking about this new spot in Omaha. From the complimentary dips (salsa, sour cream, bean/beef), to the homemade churros, everything was amazing. We especially loved the table side guacamole cart. For entrees, the combination fajitas were the star of the show. I also had a yummy mocktail, but believe me, when dry January is finished, I'll be back to get a margarita flight. read more

This was just all right or okay. We heard rave reviews so we were dying to try it. The margarita was large but watered down. Service was slow and not great but the food came out very quickly. We were visiting from out of town and found Clase Condigo on Yelp. We stopped in on a Friday night for dinner. The place was slammed, and the wait was about 30 minutes. They seated us and brought our water. We ordered drinks from the bar and were waiting for those and to place our order. It was taking a while, but that was to be expected since they were so busy. A manager came by and asked if we'd like chips and salsa, so we said, "Sure." Then the guy with the guacamole cart came by and asked if we wanted fresh guac, and who wouldn't? We got that and the chips and salsa, which turned out to be three different kinds of dip for the chips. The guac and the dips were fantastic, and I could almost have canceled our full order after eating all that! Our server took our order, and it came out very quickly. The food was AMAZING, and we were pleasantly surprised that the guac was on the house (likely due to our wait). Great customer service! We're not in Omaha often, but we'll definitely check this place out again when we are back. read more

Excellent service! We went during the day on a Friday and it wasn't too busy. The dips they bring out with the chips are so good! I highly recommend the queso. We made it in time to get the lunch meals and they were perfectly sized and reasonably priced. If you're looking for dessert get the churros! It comes with 4 churros that can easily be split in half to make enough for 8 people. We have been meaning to try here for a while and it was worth the wait! read more

The food was fantastic! I ordered the Steak Sonora (Ribeye steak, shrimp, mushrooms, onions, peppers, queso, rice, beans & tortillas). The ribeye was cooked perfectly, and incredibly tender! The shrimp was also cooked nicely and they were quite large. The veggies & queso sauce it comes with were also delicious & bursting with flavor. And the rice and beans were the perfect side to round it all off. It was a TON of food, so the price was definitely worth it, since I was able to get 3 full meals out of it! I personally enjoy this restaurant, I had found out about it on social media and thought maybe I should give it a try, glad I did. The restaurant on the exterior and interior is very pretty and modernized. It's in a decent location, just right outside of Oakview Mall. The food here was great. They did mess up my order a few times but once they did get it correctly made it was very good. I had ordered their chicken quesadilla. It was fantastic. Probably actually one of the best quesadillas I've ever had. My only complaint is the a decent bit of the staff were difficult to deal with. They just weren't very attentive at all. I would try and get my waitresses attention and she was just kind of bobble off or do her own thing, talking with other servers & I heard them gossiping a lot. it wasn't like the restaurant wasn't busy either, It was packed. Half the time I was trying to get her attention. She would just go over to every other table but ours until the last minute, she was very sweet though when we had her attention! That's the only reason why I'm not rating it five stars was mostly just due to the service. Other than that, everything else was great. read more

The table side guacamole was a fun surprise, plentiful and delicious. I had chicken street tacos and the chicken was spiced and done just right as was the tortilla. My husband had a chicken burrito which was huge and very flavorful. The 3 dips they bring to the table, along with the tortilla chips were good, especially the bean dip. My family and I were excited to try this newer restaurant. The staff were very friendly. Drinks were great. The salsa and sauces were unique to try. The salsa was amazing! We ordered the table guacamole as we LOVE fresh guac. We expressed we'd love to have all the options/ingedients. However, it was never made at our table. Our server just brought us the mixed guacamole. It was pretty bland so we were guessing the jalapeños weren't included and maybe not enough onion. It also had a lot of larger chunks which made it difficult to eat with chips. My husband's and my entrees arrived several minutes before our kids. The kids got quesadillas. My husband ordered the supreme burrito but received 2 enchiladas instead. He didn't mention this error as they looked good and he was debating ordering that anyway. I got the beef enchilada and beef taco. The hard shell taco has soggy and fell apart as I was trying to eat it. All of the meat was so bland. There was no flavor and no spice to these dishes. Not sure what happened there. Our daughter loved the cheese quesadilla- said the cheese was really good. My son got a chicken quesadilla and said it was also good. For a family of 4 spending $120, it was not worthwhile. I'd like to try it again down the road as I wonder if it was an off day in the kitchen. read more

Started with the hostess. She didnt acknowledge us, let alone say hello. Said follow me after waiting 10 mins, and took us to our table. Not sure about the theme they are going for. Sat down Ang were served the 3 dips and chips- very bland typical red salsa-tip: salt it but even then is not good. The other one was a ranch dip with taco seasoning served cold. By far the worst one! And the last one was probably the best (in comparison to the rest!) some type of beans with chorizo. Definitely canned beans. I ordered seafood chimichanga. What I got was a burrito. Chimichangas are deep fried and smothered in yummy cheesy sauce. This was smothered already! In some gross chipotle sauce that didn't complement the blended crab meat and shrimp. The crab meat was chopped up so much, it was technically blended which went horribly with the big shrimp. My partner got the La Uno which is a combo of chile relleno and beef enchilada. You couldn't see what you were eating because of the amount of cheese over EVERYTHING! Meals included rice and beans. Canned beans and bland rice. The drinks were decent. Got a margarita flight- skinny, tropical, mango and huckleberry. Huckleberry by far the better one. Servers don't know how to smile and ask if you need anything else. Just overall, not an experience I care to do again. read more

The 3 different sauces with chips they brought are amazing. I chose the grande burrito and A it's amazing and B it's a lot of food. When we arrived we were seated within 5 minutes. Call ahead seating is recommended. When we sat down we were greeted immediately with a big bowl of chips and 3 different dipping sauces. Great service and the food was very fresh and flavorful. We also had a giant margarita that we shared and it was really good as well. Finally a reasonably priced Mexican restaurant that has authentic dishes and not just microwaved cheese like most of the local offerings in west Omaha. The tableside guac is outstanding along with the free chips and 3 salsa varieties. You will have take home as the portions are large. Atmosphere is also very fun and our server was great!
