The staff were so kind and I'm sure the view is nice. The wings were so good and tender. Also got the potstickers which were great. Presentation is great considering this place is slightly more pricey than many surrounding restaurants.

Met some friends for a holiday lunch and was surprised that just about everything on the menu was $16.95 (salads/sandwiches/entrees). Sides vary and price includes a beverage. I had the blackened grouper (bit spicy) and broccoli - very good! Friends had salmon or shrimp dishes. The cheesy shrimp dish looks delish! Service was fantastic.

I had lunch with my bosses. The parking lot was full, so we expected the restaurant to be packed. It wasn't. The party room was full, but the main restaurant was not. We were seated right away, greeted by our server, and she took our order. She provided good service throughout our time there. While the conversation was great the food was disappointing. I say that because it's been years, like mid 2000's. At the time the food was good. We would get together as a family and have dinner. As I digressed, the steak had no flavor. Not even the sauce. The fries were a mix of fresh and stale. The dessert was good. That was a plus.

Our first time here. Lunch now of specialty menu. Pasta and sandwich. All is really good. We are the only customers today at 3pm.

Wow! Pros: Gorgeous patio seating. It's so pretty, and they even have duck food you can purchase for a quarter to feed nearby ducks (there's a gate you can open to walk around the water) and the small pond featured tons of tiny turtles. My kids were in heaven. A huge menu. It's always a fantastic problem when everything sounds so good you can't decide what to order. Even the kids menu had plenty of options - and my pickiest eater found multiple things he liked on it. The service was wonderful. I'm so disappointed in myself that I've forgotten our servers name, because I would absolutely give her a shout out. My drink glass was never empty before she replaced it with a fresh refill, our order was correct, and she was super friendly. The portions were huge. I ordered the shrimp po boy, and my husband ordered the lobster roll. When it came out there was so much we decided to split each order so we could try a little of both. Next time we go we could easily order one meal to share - and then we would have room for dessert (which looked SO delicious in the case, but we were too full to try this time) Cons: We live an hour away, and cannot possibly eat here as much as we would like Our kids won't let us try any other restaurants in Omaha, because they are now Charlie's fans for life.

Well the millionaire martini and tickle tackelberry drinks are amazing. In fact you can not go wrong with many of their drinks. The best part is they leave the martini shaker at your table so you get extra to drink. The fish is great and cooked to order. Can sit outside on the patio and their happy hour is super good. The staff is always friendly. The prices are a little on the high side but the quality is amazing.

I had always heard of this Omaha classic but never got to adventure out to lunch/dinner with a view until today! First off the location is beautiful and the interior is welcoming just as much as the staff is. They are ON it making sure you're being attended and served. The menu offers so many delicious options it seems you can't really go wrong with your decision. Great flavors and great experience, will be back to enjoy that patio

My real hang up with our visit was the server situation. We weren't truly adequately waited on and to be honest it was a little odd. When we were seated we were told our server would be right with us. After 11/12 minutes of just sitting there the gal had come back and asked us if our server had ever come over, which we told her he had not. She explained that she would take our order and then switch it to him later on. She grabbed us drinks, took our order, and delivered our food. Shortly after getting our food, our server came back to us while simultaneously putting on a coat saying that she was leaving and that he would be our server now. He never came back until it must've been obvious that we were looking for our check (keep in mind that our meal took a while to eat because crab is work). The funny thing was that a third server brought the check! It was a weird situation and honestly for the price of the food, service she be better. The food overall had great flavor and the portions were a good size. We tried the calamari and then for our daughter ordered the fried rice and lobster bisque. Everything was pretty good. My husband and I both got crab; I did the garlic butter and he did a spicer Cajun. He said his was great but unfortunately the corn with mine felt like it just was pulled from the fridge. I think this restaurant has great potential but they really need to brush up on service. I'm a little iffy if I would return.

Owned by a trio of dedicated foodies, this restaurant exceeded all my expectations, and their attention to detail shows. The quality of food, the attentive service, and the fastidiously clean and modern interior makes for a welcoming cozy atmosphere. Vote voted best of Omaha 2025 all I can say is they truly deserve it! Located just north of Dodge at 108th St., the restaurant is conveniently situated with a large parking lot and plenty of space for easy access. The restaurant takes reservations, but I had no challenge arriving mid afternoon for my first visit. I was pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. I was presented a fabulous menu plus specials, which made a hard decision even harder. Offering New England fare, I cannot recall since my childhood on the East Coast, where I saw clam strips on the menu, let alone freshly prepared on site. Cooked to perfection and offering a delightful twist, as the clam strips were served with traditional tartar and Chinese sweet-and-sour sauce. I was offered a complementary taste of their cornbread, prepared by the in-house pastry chef, which was by far the best cornbread I've ever enjoyed. The Portuguese fish stew offered a fabulous Bouillabaisse with plenty of muscles, shrimp, and clams as well as chorizo to fill me up! A full bar, plenty of beers on tap, and a lovely wine list offers great pairings with all the menu items. With their anniversary celebration, there will be specials offered, keep your eyes peeled on their website for menu items and wine offerings through the end of the month. I cannot say enough about this restaurant other than I will be back! I encourage you to check out the best of Omaha, or simply the best, at the Sand Point ASAP!

The menu has a lot of choices but only one jumped out at me as vegan--the black bean burger. The waitress asked if I was ok with cheese on it, which I was. I also ordered a serving of French onion soup, which just seemed like it would hit the spot. For the small amount of diners in the space, it took a bit longer than expected to get my lunch. The soup was already cool enough to eat, which surprised me. The burger was also not piping hot which makes me think the food was sitting out for awhile before it got to me. However, that didn't stop me from enjoying it. The cheesy crouton on the soup was stretchy with melted cheese atop lots of onions and flavorful broth. Honestly, we weren't that... impressed, but we gave it a valiant go on both meals chosen! Kinda bummed there wasn't a drink menu with cocktails, but they had a great selection of wine ranging from $100-$500 a bottle. So, we stuck with water. Bread and creamy butter was dropped off while we waited and who can't resist a warm roll? Got the Trail Boss Prime Rib, with salad bar, and baked potato side was requested as medium. The au ju lacked flavor, and only lasted a few bites before not used at all. The baked potato was delish though! Prime rib was very tender, a lot of cap which was nice, but it was just sorta.. average. I snagged their Teriyaki Tenderloin Kabob on a bed of wild rice, salad bar, and asparagus side (probably the first restaurant I've seen that's offered asparagus as an actual side), requested well done. By all accounts it does look a bit charred, but when the veggies were pulled apart, they were warm and tender and paired well with the teriyaki and rice. That rice was delish! Asparagus didn't blow any air up my skirt unfortunately, because I really wanted it to blow my mind. I felt like we left a lot of food on our plates, but that could've just been how it was.
