With light hardwood floors and windows throughout, the salon is clean, open and inviting. My hair stylist is Megan Kimmerly and she is phenomenal! Megan listens and is extremely professional with excellent insight into how to achieve the desired color and cut. She does my highlights, lowlights and Keratin treatments, in addition to cut and style.. While I've had some disappointing experiences elsewhere, I feel no stress at all with Megan. I trust her judgment and know I'm in good hands. She is also very efficient with her time and extremely pleasant as a person. I'm so grateful that I found her! I have also observed that other stylists at this salon conduct themselves in a professional manner and have admired the hair results of their clients. While I understand that spa services such as facials and mani-pedis are offered, I have not tried them though it is a lovely environment for a day spa. The ambiance is very classy yet comfortable. Over my last several visits, I noticed that Lilly rarely greeted me, made eye contact, or acknowledged me during my appointments, while appearing much more welcoming and friendly with other customers. At first, I assumed I was being overly sensitive, but my most recent visit confirmed that something felt off. During the appointment, I had a cut on one of my fingers. Lilly repeatedly squeezed that finger while working, causing significant discomfort. When my hand would naturally tense up from the pain, she became visibly irritated and repeatedly told me to relax my hand, even after I explained that the pressure on the cut was hurting. She also nicked me with the drill while buffing my nails. While accidents can happen, there was no acknowledgment or apology. Additionally, although I arrived on time for my appointment, I was started several minutes late. That normally wouldn't bother me. What did concern me was that with only a short amount of time left in my service, Lilly stopped working on my nails to begin another customer's removal process before returning to finish mine. I was left waiting without any explanation, apology, or acknowledgment. I've never written a negative public review before, but after this experience, I felt it was important to share. Quality nail work is only part of the experience...customer service, professionalism, and respect matter too. My nail technician did a great job, and I was very happy with the finished product. Where things got a little frustrating was with communication. I requested a basic pedicure with gel polish and a gel polish color change on my fingernails. The receptionist mentioned that she was confused about my request, which caught me off guard because I felt like I was pretty clear about what I wanted. I also didn't understand why I was charged separately for removing my previous gel polish when I was getting a gel polish change. To me, removing the old gel seems like part of the process of changing the gel color, so I would have appreciated having that explained before the service. My fiancé also got a manicure for the first time. He specifically and repeatedly requested no polish. Unfortunately, clear polish was still applied to his nails. He didn't even realize it had been put on until I noticed his nails later. That was probably the biggest communication issue for us because he had clearly expressed what he wanted. Then, when it was time to pay, there was another mix-up. Our services were incorrectly assigned between our bills. Instead of me being charged for the gel polish change on my hands, I was charged for the pedicure. His manicure and my pedicure should have been on his bill, while I should have only been charged for my gel polish change. We didn't really push the issue at the time because it felt like trying to untangle everything was only going to create more chaos. However, it is something worth mentioning because clear communication and accurate billing are important parts of the overall customer experience. Would I go back? Yes. I wouldn't write the salon off based on this experience. My nails genuinely turned out great, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and little extras like the snacks. I think there is room for improvement when it comes to communication, listening to specific requests, and making sure services are entered and billed correctly. I'd suggest booking an appointment rather than walking in, and make sure to confirm exactly what services you're going to receive and the pricing beforehand. It also doesn't help to see that the receipts aren't itemized specifically to show the customer what services they received with add ons (if any). The service(s) on the receipts just reads "custom."

She decided to try this location because it is closer to us than Adrian was. While this place is clean and appears to be organized and professionally run by nice people, I must warn you be careful who you get. The younger inexperienced nail techs do not do as good of a job and the ones that really do a good job ( young or older) are never available because they're constantly booked. Also, she said the selection of nail polish colors is substandard compared to the average salon. Just not enough choices. For the first time in 12 years my wife experienced premature chipping. Was it a substandard product or was it a poor application? We do not know. It's going to be hit or miss here ....You may have to break out some greenbacks to convince your way into somebody's schedule, otherwise you may end up with a "lower tier" nail tech.
