Classen Tag Agency is the only tag agency I would go to register new cars and renew car tags or driver licenses. Not only does Classen Tag Agency provide the best customer service, they are also the most efficient. I can get my car tag renewed faster than at any other car tag agencies, in and out in less than 5 minutes. Walking into Classen Tag Agency has never felt like a dread because I know I will be in good hands. Usually, I will be greeted by one of the beautiful ladies at the front. Once in a while, you'll be greeted by the owner, a quite dashing man himself. I've nicknamed this place "Classen Acting Agency" because everyone is so beautiful. The staffs at Classen Tag Agency are the most knowledgeable than at any other tag agencies. They truly know everything about the job. Not only that, they are also the most intelligent group of individuals, some are highly educated. One has a master in accounting. One has a nursing background and a Bachelor of Arts. So many people were confused on how the process works. When inside the door you sign your name on the paper pad (example; if you're there for a tag renewal). Then you go take a seat and wait til they call your name. They will cross off your name as they take it down on their own sheet for calling you back - you are NOT being skipped. Classen Tag definitely needs more chairs for seating though! So much extra room and not enough seating for how busy they get. They aren't in-and-out like people make it seem unless they just have good days.. read more

Literally the worst Tag Agency ever! I called in advance to see what all I needed, I got everything prepared and went to this location. Waited in line for ONE hour and once I get to the front they said I was missing one of the items. Well... why aren't you answering correctly when people call in advance. It was a completely waste of time, they do not have respect for the customer's time. 1- your reply is really creepy. Did you also track me in my car to see how long I was there waiting? 2- your employees didn't inform me of what I needed, it had nothing to do with my car. Classen Tag is just what you need and would expect from a tag agency. Occasionally you have to wait for a bit, but there is plenty to watch and do while you wait. The women who work there are fast and even let me retake my license photo once because I made an unfavorable face. Okay, it was my face. The picture showed my face, but I wanted one that looked . These are the sorts of friends you need at a tag agency so you don't have to wince every time you pull out your ID for the next few years. I didn't realize how good they were until I tried a different tag agent. At another tag agency, I was basically sneezing in my photo and the employee said nothing and just printed the ID. Forgot that my specialty tag expired at end of December. Called several agencies to see if I needed an appointment. I did not. One cannot renew specialty tags on line. The Classen agency was closer to my work. I arrived just before Noon on a Thursday toward the end of December. There were about 6 people in front of me. Most masked, but it was easy to social distance. They had 3 employees working the windows and it went pretty quick. I feel that what impressed me the most was it was lunch time. Not all employees were at windows, but when a few more people entered the agency all the employees I could see came to a window to work. Now, when does that ever happen? My turn. I didn't have my notification from tax commission, but I had my insurance verification, both tag and sticker numbers, but was only asked for my name and address. She found my record, I paid with a check, she gave me my sticker and I was done. Less than 10 minutes. I've spent more time than that at tag agencies before a pandemic just to renew a tag which is why I switched to mail and on line. I was just impressed with my whole experience and the willingness of all their employees to step up open another window and take care of business. I never felt like I was interrupting their day. read more

Great experience! First of all, I called a few weeks prior to see what I needed to bring in to change title and tag on a vehicle. Wasn't the normal transaction. They were patient with my questions and had a great attitude about it. (I was annoying myself with my questions!) I went in about 10am on a Friday. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Helps having proper paperwork with you. I'm sure wait times vary depending on day of the month. Highly recommend this tag agency. read more

Classen Tag Agency used to be my go to place, but I may have to reconsider after today. I've had fast and friendly service before. I have gotten my tag renewed here. I've come here to get my title set up when I bought a new car. Everything was great until I came for my driver's license last week. Unfortunately, the lady misspelled my address on my new license. She had to call the Oklahoma Tax Commission to get them to void out her mistake. After waiting a long time, when other people were coming and going in 10 minute intervals, I was pretty frustrated. They finally voided it and we started over. This time I had her spell out all of my information to make sure there were no mistakes. She decided to have an attitude with me, which made my experience even more frustrating. I'm also a bit concerned with the fact that they weren't checking people's identification. But not concerned enough to spend any more time waiting to talk with someone at the OTC. read more

I'm new to OK so this concept of a Tag Agency is new to me. But this place blows the doors off any state-run DMV-esque sh!tshow I've experienced in 3 other states. I got my driver's license and 3 vehicle registrations done here (separate visits). I don't think anything took more than 30 minutes, in fact two of the vehicle registrations I was door to door in less than 30 min, just crazy. read more

I would give ZERO stars if I could. The lady working the ID/license area was super rude to me. I came in, filled out the form, and waited for long time despite only having 1 person in front of me in line. She was basically skipping over my info/form. People who came AFTER me had their drivers license finished before. HOW IS THIS FAIR? I mentioned to her politely, "There are people here who received their license before me and they were after me in line." but she continues to ignore me. So finally I ask her if I can have my money back because I'd like to go elsewhere. and then she says "I CAN GIVE YOU BACK YOUR LICENSE AND MONEY BUT I'LL HAVE TO CALL THE COPS." At the time, I was young (23 years old) and frightened by this statement despite never having a criminal record. So I stayed and get my license. I have never been treated in such a manner in my entire life. I am a physician and if I were to treat someone like that---I would lose my job. Ever since that incident, I go out of my way to avoid the place. read more

So I'm kind of obsessed with the ladies at Classen Tag Agency, but not in a creepy way (said every creepy person ever) but seriously, they are soooo nice and helpful. I have had MANY bad experiences at many different tag agencies over the years, but I have only had good experiences here - and have been coming here since I moved to OKC 7 years ago. They have two different waiting lines - one just for license renewals/issues, etc. and the other for tags, titles, etc. This means if you just need a new license you don't have to wait in the longer, tag renewal line. And the lines move pretty darn quickly, regardless. Just be sure to sign-in when you get there. They also have an online tag renewal option, and will even email you when your tag is up for renewal - but I like going in for a visit :) They do only take cash or check though (but have an ATM on site). read more

If one of your life's passions is people watching, this would be your mothership. 30th and Classen is the intersection of so many different cultures and people, and the tag agency is like the one place over here that everyone must frequent from time to time, so it's quite the mash up of humanity. I don't even mind when I have to wait for a while, because there's just so much to see. But, I didn't end up waiting long, because the women are efficient and good at their jobs, and, as far as this type of service provider goes, fairly friendly. Most importantly, they seemed to treat everyone equally, which is important to me. I was probably only in there for about 15 minutes, getting a new license with my new last name. Avoid this tag agency if you expect good service and an organized business. I visited today and almost got into a fight with an angry old man who, when asked to please wait his turn, threatened me with bodily injury. The staff in the place didn't do anything to address this. They don't have a check in system so you can take a ticket, or sign in and with around 15 people waiting in the lobby it was the worst honor system I have ever witnessed. 2 people walked in and went directly to a window to be helped while the 15 who were already there sat and waited their turns without saying anything to the 2 who bypassed the wait. I politely asked him to wait his turn and was told "I am not as stupid as you look. Lets go out in the parking lot and I will kick your ass" Nobody in the tag agency came to my rescue. What a lifesaver! Tag was due the end of May and I realized it on June 1st. Went by Classen Tag to renew it and there were a few people already waiting. Then I saw in the window that I could renew online. Yay!! In got on their website with my insurance verification in hand and was able to get renewed in less than 5 minutes!! Another Yay!! It was so easy that I wondered why I hadn't been doing this all along! Great folks! Fast and efficient! They were very nice and efficient last year when I had to get another driver's license too.
