Hi I had my suv fixed here with State Farm. This company said they were part of State Farm insurance but they aren't. I tried to fight having to pay out of pocket over 2k but in the end I had to pay it even though I have insurance. The manager wasn't the nicest either and could care less about the situation. They shouldn't advertise they are a in network insurance when they are not. Be careful. read more

Been putting off the review for a bit, to let the car live a little and see how their work holds up. It looks pristine! Had a dumb moment and scraped my front bumper along the side of a wall doing a u turn in my driveway. Emailed three collision repair shops, but Wanda from Classic Auto Craft responded the quickest. She was quick to provide quotes for OEM and aftermarket options, and was also the most patient as I waited to hear back from other shops. Classic Auto ended up being the most affordable by default. I requested to have the part ordered in advance so I could spend minimum amount of time without my car, which Wanda quickly organized. Traveling from Oakland, they provided me a ride to the ferry after I dropped my car off, and offered to pick me up from the ferry when I returned. The repair was quoted 2 days, on the week of Independence Day, and they exceeded my expectations by doing 1 day turn around. When I arrived, I noticed they left my front license plate off, so I could have the option to install it or keep it clean. I opted for installation and they installed the plate in 2 minutes. The car was incredibly clean and detailed, but this is where one negative pops up: I cleaned my car of trash before dropping off, but had let some essentials in the side pockets like my old pair of glasses, in case my contacts pop out or something. They placed all those small things collectively together in the center console, which crammed together and caused my glasses to break. I would say overall the experience was better than I could hope for. Going through collision repair in the past in LA, which was not the nicest customer service, Classic Auto Craft shines with theirs in comparison. Wanda really made all the difference, and her sister Flor, did too. If I were to redo my drop off, I would make sure to have removed all my fragiles, specifically my glasses. So I suggest you do the same, but trust they will do an excellent repair. read more

As a self-proclaimed foodie on Yelp, this will be my first ever non-food/drink related review. Why the need to break my streak? Because the service I received at Classic Auto Craft was...well, frankly, too good! Dennis Varela (General Manager) and his team deserve all the amazing reviews that they are getting. When I got my Mercedes Benz into a bumper accident, the guys at Classic Auto Craft went way above and beyond what I expected out of an auto body shop. The accident damaged my front bumper, my right headlight, the tow hook, and the inside metal piece that blocks damage from going further. USAA Insurance gave me a quote of $1600, but Dennis was able to call USAA and have them send an adjuster to his shop, saving me a good amount of time and getting a solid quote. My insurance company was trying to take the easy way out and skim corners to pay less for the damage, but Dennis was firm that he wanted my car to look brand new and fix the damage exactly how it should be done, without cutting any corners. It only got better from there. My bumper and front headlight look brand new, but Dennis threw in a couple more repairs that they absolutely didn't have to. He replaced the tow hook for free, polished the hood and fenders and did a headlight restoration on the left side, so they match perfectly with my bumper, and detailed the car from inside and outside making it look brand new. I'm not exaggerating when I say that my car looks the best that she's looked in 3 years. I initially stopped by Classic Auto Craft because they are ridiculously close to me, but if I have another accident I'm definitely going back because they are ridiculously good at what they do. Classic Auto Craft is one of those repair shops that you always dream of existing: they're honest, efficient, skilled, and they genuinely care about their customers. Dennis and his employees went over and above what was required to get me safely back on the road in a timely manner, and they did a beautiful job at that. Believe the 5-star rating on Yelp, folks. And for good reason - not only did top dealerships in Marin recommend them to me for repair of their vehicles - and they do work on classic, exotic and luxury cars - and you can imagine how particular those owners are - but they also do just as excellent work on all models of cars at fair and reasonable prices. I've now had 3 Priuses in their shop repaired from collisions - every aspect of service was top notch and each car all came out with perfect repair. I prefer to support family owned local businesses when I can, and this one is better yet woman owned. Wanda is brilliant and knows everything about collision repair - and then some, Alicia is great and handles the front desk/office. I was in last week - car had rear ended me - they handled all the photos and interactions with the other driver's insurance co, and even handled the return of my rental car. It came back looking brand new, repairs have a yes lifetime warranty, and they returned it gleaming - cleaned inside and out, and vacuumed. They advised me to protect the new paint finish and clear coat for 60 days, twice as long as most shops advise - and I appreciate their better regard for care of the new surface and I take their advice. As another reviewer said - they went above and beyond - I have a 70# white furry Akita dog and somehow they even got the dog hair out of the car too -it looked better than when I just bought it recently at a Lexus dealership! I purchased a used car in good mechanical shape but it had dozens of scratches down the side from being parked next to bushes and a broken air dam in front. Since it was my dream car I thought about repainting it. However, after detailing by CAC the scratches were gone and the car gleamed like it was new. No paint job needed! These folks came highly recommended from friends. I brought my son's Mazda3 to get an estimate on repair of a scuffed and dented bumper with a broken tail light. Will, my estimator, advised me to save my money and do the repair myself! He said a hair dryer would remove the dent in the plastic bumper, rubbing compound could clean up the paint transfer marks, and an after market replacement tail light would be easy to install (he showed me how). How many auto shops turn away business? I know they do good work because of the recommendations, but i'm also now convinced that the place has integrity. Great service and great results! I was referred to Classic Auto Craft by Marin Mazda. I took in my 2009 Mazda3 on a Friday morning to get a quote for repainting the rear spoiler (which is plastic and looked terrible for several years with bleached out finish and splotches). Dennis quoted me a great price (took less than ten minutes) and offered that the work could be completed by the following Monday morning. The staff removed the spoiler and covered several exposed screw holes with tape (nice extra touch). After stopping in on my way home from work on Monday the spoiler was reinstalled and looks fantastic - just like a brand new part!
