Jalapeño Bacon Burger, Inyokern Cowboys' Cheeseburger, & curly fries
    Bri R.

My husband and I have been waiting for this place to open!! It is drive through only currently, but the inside should be open soon. Holy s*** these burgers were good. The only reason the left one looks like it's falling apart is because it needed to be held 2 hands (I have v small hands). They were pretty big and definitely filling, at least a 3rd bigger than an in-n-out burger. The curly fries were pretty good dipped in their homemade ranch and secret sauce. Not pictured was the pistachio milk shake and damn, that was also delish. The 2 burgers, fries, and medium shake was $34.65. For the quality and quantity of food, I am NOT complaining! Also, we're usually a bit sensitive to "fast food" but it did not hurt our stomachs one bit. Let's just say, we'll meet again soon. We cannot wait to try more items. Their menu is huge!

I went back to try some other items when I noticed that there wasn't a line in the drive-thru. There was only one car ahead of me. This time I ordered a Pastrami Sandwich and Onion Rings. I received my order within a few minutes. The sandwich smelled very good. The pastrami was the thinly sliced kind. It is hard to find thicker cut pastrami up here so I kept my expectations low. There was a good portion of meat in the smallish sandwich. The meat tasted okay but was slightly chewy; not the best quality pastrami and somewhat dry. The good tasting roll was toasted which added some grilled flavor. Two yellow chilis came with the order. They were a good accompaniment. The cornmeal battered onion rings were perfectly fried crunchy with the onions inside retaining a crisp-tender texture. The onion rings tasted good and the portion size was reasonable. I would probably wait until October when their dining room opens to try other items.

The food was hot, but didn't care for the chicken tender combo. Fries were very dry. Chicken tenders breading was dry, but the chicken was juicy. Service was great. Didn't go inside.

We stopped by around 11:00-11:30 a.m., thinking the morning rush would be over, but the place was still packed. After trying it, I can definitely see why. They had already sold out of all their pastries, which says a lot about how busy they are, but the coffee was amazing. I ordered the iced maple salt latte with oat milk, and it was so good. My son got the bourbon caramel latte, and he loved his too. The shop itself is small, but there is plenty of seating both inside and outside. What impressed me most was that there were only two employees working, and they handled the crowd incredibly well. They kept things moving, acknowledged customers as they came in and when it was their turn to order, and were still kind and friendly. The café was also very clean and well kept. For there to be only two people working and the crowd they had at 11 o'clock, I'm sure it had probably been busy all morning. Even so, everything was clean and organized. Great coffee, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

I had been wanting to try this place for quite sometime after recommendations from coworkers. I finally went early before work and I ordered the peanut butter latte hot. A lot of heart and soul went into the making of that latte as you can taste the difference.

She saw us walk in, and it took about 5 minutes before she acknowledged us and said she'd be with us. We honestly didn't mind waiting at first, but while standing there we could hear her personal conversation on the phone. At first we thought it was work related or maybe she was taking an order, but she was actually giving someone directions on how to post photos on her damn IG .SMH. When she finally took our order, one of my friends asked questions about the drink she wanted, and the employee was pretty short with her answers. My friend ended up getting what seemed like strawberry milk instead of the coffee drink with strawberry foam/syrup she expected, so unfortunately her drink was kind of a mess. Me and my other friend got the Seattle Freeze, and that was actually really good super delicious. We sat down and about 10minutes later she went right back on the phone. Another customer came in a couple with their kid and this time she clearly saw them walk in. The customers stood there waiting and looking at her, but she still didn't acknowledge them. Then she says whoever she was talking to on the phone..." Oh...customers just walked in" when the customers had literally been standing there already watching her. This is unprofessional ..customers were not a priority at all. The wait itself wasn't the issue, it was more the fact that she didn't seem to care.

We were really looking forward to a solid caffeine break... but unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark. I ordered a vanilla frozen coffee, and it honestly tasted like... nothing. It lacked sweetness, flavor depth, and that strong coffee kick you expect from a frozen drink. It just felt very flat. My husband got the Spanish latte, which should have been rich and slightly sweet with condensed milk flavor but instead, it tasted watered down. It didn't have that bold espresso taste we were hoping for. We also grabbed a cinnamon roll, which I was genuinely excited about. Sadly, that might have been the biggest letdown. It was cold, dry, and just not good. The texture and flavor were off honestly one of the worst cinnamon rolls I've had. When you're on a road trip, you want that warm, comforting pastry moment... and this wasn't it. Maybe it was an off day, but overall the drinks lacked flavor and the pastry missed the mark. It wasn't terrible service-wise just disappointing from a quality standpoint. Would I stop again on another road trip? Probably not. There are just too many great coffee spots out there to settle for something this underwhelming.

I visited this establishment today, as my family and I do quite regularly, to order three drinks…read more We typically order between two and four drinks, and we consistently add boba to each one. Unfortunately, today's experience fell well below the level of service and attention to detail I have come to expect from this establishment. While placing my order, the younger employee repeatedly asked me to repeat myself. I specifically requested boba in all three drinks. One of the drinks was a Thai tea, for which I also requested no ice because I intended to refrigerate it and enjoy it later. Given the difficulty communicating my order, I chose not to leave a tip today, despite regularly leaving a 15% tip for the service I receive. Before my order was completed, I noticed that a customer who ordered after me received his three drinks before mine. At that point, the employee looked at me and then appeared to only be beginning the third drink of my order. When I finally received my drinks, only one--the chamango--had been prepared as requested. The mango-pineapple smoothie was missing the requested boba, although thankfully I was not charged for it. The Thai tea did have boba and no ice as requested; however, it was noticeably underfilled compared with the other drinks and was not satisfactory. I therefore respectfully requested a refund for that drink. The older Asian woman who appeared to be overseeing the establishment seemed surprised by my request. I calmly explained what was incorrect and why I was dissatisfied with that Thai tea drink. Unfortunately, rather than acknowledging the mistake, apologizing, and offering a simple resolution, she remained silent and unapologetic. That response was particularly disappointing because I would expect someone in a management or leadership position to take ownership when an order is not fulfilled correctly. I work in customer service myself, and I understand how important communication, attention to detail, accountability, and professionalism are. If I or one of my employees makes a mistake, I believe the appropriate response is to acknowledge it, apologize, and promptly make it right. Customers should receive exactly what they ordered--not a partial fulfillment of their order. I am posting this primarily as constructive feedback and, hopefully, as an opportunity for management to use this experience for future training. Every customer should receive the same level of respect, courtesy, and attention regardless of whether they choose to leave a tip. There should never be any form of retaliation, whether through the handling of an order, the order's place in line, or the quality of service provided. I will give the business account holder an opportunity to respond before deciding whether my family and I will continue bringing our business here. I sincerely hope this can be addressed professionally and constructively.

No, I could place a second order to get the fried rice. Ok, whatever, I'll take the steamed rice. The Orange Chicken was like rubber. I tried to bite a piece in half and it wouldn't pull apart, so the whole piece went in my mouth and I had to use my fingers to pull it apart which was embarrassing on a first date! It didn't taste good either. I looked for a knife in the plastic silverware, but there was none. I then went for a bite of the rice and it was so stuck together that I really had to jam my fork into it. It had no flavor at all and I was not offered any kind of sauce for it. I got some salt, but it didn't help. It had obviously been in a cup and turned over on a plate (there was no bowl) so I don't see why they couldn't have substituted the fried rice. The carrots were rubbery too. The only thing half way good was the broccoli. I opted for water to drink because I couldn't see paying over $6 for flavored ice tea. I didn't want my date to feel bad for buying me such a horrible meal, so I managed to get a couple of bites down. He asked if I wanted a box. No, but I said yes, again not wanting him to feel bad. I tried the Orange Chicken again when I got home, using my paring knife, and it was still so bad that I threw the whole thing away. There were only 6-8 people in the place, but it was so noisy that I had to keep asking my date to repeat what he said because I couldn't hear him. I was looking forward to a new place to eat and the online menu looked so great... How sad.
