**Cash only** Read as 4.5 stars. Great no frills, neighborhood diner feel - serving up the classics. Ordered the veggie egg bennys and everything was cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and attentive. Will be back!

PROS: The staff was nice and the food was amazing. It came out fast and was priced well. Spacious inside and had good amount of street parking which was free CONS: THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH! Beware of that, cause we weren't when we ate here OVERALL: As long as you have cash I would recommend you coming here, they are definitely worth it

2nd time here. Got the benedict with tomato, feta and sausage. Delicious. Correction from original review...Albanian, not Armenian. And the woman is the owners mom. She was lovely again! This place is great. Wish I lived closer!

We love classic cafe , it's our neighborhood breakfast go to. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating to our children which makes going out to eat so much more enjoyable!!! Our son loves the pancake, and I haven't had anything on the menu I didn't enjoy.

Was a great atmosphere with a old family care feel. Service was on point. Fast and welcoming. No issues at all. We came in for a Hockey game. And looked up breakfast. Happy we went!!!!!

A cozy, no-frills family cafe that serves the staples of the American breakfast. The food always hits home, the staff is warm and friendly, and the price is always right

This is it! A hidden gem in a quiet neighborhood. Absolutely delicious food and super friendly staff. It really reminds me of my grandmothers kitchen! Cash only. Do yourself a favor and come have breakfast!!! I love the Italian breakfast with fresh slices of tomato.

Great local spot right in the center of a Medford neighborhood. The eggs Benedict was a superb consistency with rich hollandise sauce. Additionally the home fries were crispy and had a scrumptious seasoning. Will be returning! Also cash only! But there is an ATM inside.

    Fruit bowl as appetizer

Cute little place in Medford. Stopped for a quick bite before an afternoon hockey game based on others Yelp reviews. Lived up to the hype. Food was plentiful and delicious. Would go again if ever in town.

The best Irish Benny I've eaten in ten years. This place is spot on! The coffee was good, the service attentive, and the food truly memorable!

All the carb items both salty and sweet have always been good. on the last trip, I didn't get the egg tart as they looked a bit burnt. I haven't tried their meats yet, but will eventually get around to it.

I will generally ask them to not chop up the meat for me. It's convenient and they do it very quickly, but my boyfriend is not a fan of the shards of bone co-mingling with the meat. I will warn you that cutting it up at home will result in a HUGE mess because these birds are fatty, but it's worth it to me to carefully debone the meat. There's a bit of a language barrier but that doesn't stop me from asking for extra ginger scallion oil. Ask for it. They will give you one sauce. It's really good and we're not Chinese and they don't understand that we can't get enough of it. The soy sauce is also good. There is a bakery here but I've only ever gotten the meat. It is a typical Chinese cafe. Basic. No frills. Nothing fancy. The food just kind of speaks for itself. This is a To-go place. I think every time I've been here, there's been little or no wait.

fun and ever changing menu of drinks, the best muffins in the world, and the staff feels like familyread more

First visit since COVID to this charming but cramped and aging shop with over-the-counter service,…read moreabout a dozen different muffins, and a single tiny table by the window. It's almost entirely takeout and on weekend mornings the line is as packed as a subway car during rush hour. The staff is efficient, courteous, and businesslike. I bought a box of muffins at opening and the whole box felt warm-- a great sign. -- Raspberry Chocolate Chip Muffin: I ate this in the shop shortly after opening, while it was still piping hot, with the raspberries nearly a liquid and the chips somewhat melty. Nice soft texture and good contrast of flavors. -- Blueberry Muffin: I broke off and sampled a piece a little later in the morning (okay, 15 minutes later). Still somewhat warm, with a sponginess leaning toward Play-Doh territory (not necessarily a bad thing), but overall good. Neither noticeably sugary nor noticeably buttery. Blueberries were closer to adequate than impressive. Good muffin but with no standout characteristic to hang your hat on. -- Cranberry Muffin: Probably the best of the bunch. The highest crown (though no overhang), with a crusty surface and a good amount of big cranberries on top. Decent understated flavor to the dough, almost biscuit-like. -- Chocolate Chip Muffin: Overloaded with chips on the top surface (I'd hesitate to call it a crown), with none below. Plain dough that's thankfully not overly sugared, but not particularly moist. These muffins aren't cheap. Once you factor in the tax and tip, it's close to $7 each, and we're not talking about particularly large muffins. If anything, they're small, with no overhang and no streusel. Nothing wrong with small (they're dense, so will still fill you up), but for the price it catches your attention, as does a "coffee house" with only one table. The muffins are a well-deserved 4 even without overhang and streusel, but the other aspects bring it to a 3. Best for local pick-up.
