I purchased a 2023 Chevrolet Bison Edition from Classic in December 2025, and it has been the worst vehicle-buying experience I've ever had. The problems started immediately. The truck had an open recall that the dealership claimed had been repaired before the sale, as well as a cracked windshield. They promised to replace the windshield after delivery, but when they picked up my truck, they left me with a Chevy Trax loaner instead of a comparable truck. After waiting over a week with no communication, no returned phone calls, and no updates, I finally threatened to contact the BBB before anyone responded. I was then told the glass technician was sick, meaning I'd have to wait another week. When my truck was finally returned, they hadn't replaced the windshield--they simply patched the crack and expected me to accept it. While the truck was in their possession, my husband repeatedly reported a severe shaking while driving. Despite multiple conversations about the issue, no one addressed it or even acknowledged it. The truck was returned with the exact same problem. Communication only got worse. My tax paperwork was inside the truck while it was at the dealership, preventing me from registering it. I repeatedly called and left messages with no response. I submitted proof that my taxes had been paid on January 10, 2026, but nothing was processed. My temporary tag eventually expired because the dealership failed to complete the paperwork. When I finally reached someone, they admitted they had no good explanation for why nothing had been done. Fortunately, I have every text message documenting this. Then came the biggest issue. On February 13, my family traveled to the mountains for my birthday weekend. The very next morning, Valentine's Day, the engine locked up while we were driving. We were stranded in the mountains with our children in the snow. Ironically, the recall they supposedly fixed before selling the truck involved the engine. I tried using the expensive Platinum Package I purchased, which included roadside assistance. Instead of helping, I was told they couldn't verify my account and that I'd have to wait until Monday. Waiting until Monday wasn't exactly an option while stranded on a mountain with my family. I called the finance manager, Cole, who sold me the package, but that didn't help either. I had to arrange and pay for my own tow truck, lost over $200 in prepaid snow tubing, and, more importantly, lost valuable family time. The nearest dealership was an hour away. I rode there in the tow truck while my family walked back to our rental cabin. Once I arrived, I discovered there were no loaner vehicles available, Enterprise was closed until Monday, and there were no Uber or Lyft drivers in the area. I was stranded again with no transportation back to my family. With no other practical option, I ended up buying another truck simply so I could get home. I then requested a refund for the nearly $12,000 Platinum Package since it clearly failed to provide the services I paid for and was still within the cancellation period. I submitted all required documentation on February 24, 2026. After receiving no response, I followed up multiple times by email and phone. Finally, on April 17, Cole informed me that the controller had quit and my refund had never been processed. He assured me he personally took the paperwork upstairs and that it would be handled that day. Today is June 29, 2026, and I am still waiting. Even after being promised a check in the mail, nothing has arrived. This entire experience has been defined by poor communication, broken promises, and a complete lack of accountability. From selling me a truck with unresolved issues, to failing to honor their commitments, to leaving my family stranded and delaying a legitimate refund for months, this dealership has consistently failed to do the right thing. I came in READY to buy a car. As soon as I got out of my car, a salesman is ready to pounce. I explained to him that I just want to look. I do not want anyone crowding me. I asked his name, and he stated Sway?! Ok great, I'll find you when ready. I see two Renegades a blue and white that I'm interested in. Both had REALLY low miles for them to be 2023, under 10k. Sway said that often elderly couples trade in their cars and don't really drive. Ok cool. I ask for the Carfax, and both have "electrical services" on them every 4 months. Of course I ask about it. All the while, it appears Sway is trying to dodge this. He finally brings over his GM named John Bell. He gives me a song and dance about Sway being new yada yada. So I ask him about the "electric services". He says the cars were used as LOANER CARS and every 4 months they were checked out. I looked at Mr Bell and explained the story Sway gave and I told them that I don't do business with liars. All Sway had to do was be TRUTHFUL and say he didn't know instead of making up a bald faced lie. Needless to say, that killed the deal folks. I didn't know who to believe. So, it's a NO for me because I don't trust the folks here. If you go, and you're female, take someone who knows cars with you. Because they appear to just want to move stock by any means necessary. $45.70 in environmental fees for oil change and adding a fuel and oil conditioner. You poor the bottle in and done. I can see maybe $15.00 for oil change and towels. Seriously?! Too high! Lost our confidence. 1st and only time- SB for our oil changes. And when questioned the charges- was told that's what it is. Genuinely one of the worst dealers I have ever been to. Arrived at my appointed time (2/5/26 10:30) and I asked how long would take to complete the repairs. The service rep told me about 3 hours. I told him that we would stay with the car. Amanda came back later stating the repairs would take longer than previously quoted, and the car was not safe to drive, in her opinion. There were no warning lights on the dash, and the computer was showing no error codes. They will keep your car for days on end and not call you with any updates. You have to constantly call them for updates, and it is always "we will call you back in 15 minutes with an update". I had to call back two or three times a day to get any type of update. We asked about getting a rental/courtesy car and was told that they do not have rental/courtesy cars at this dealer ship. "You have to go our insurance company". Five days later, with no repair parts available and no work initiated, this was the final straw. I told them I would be there within an hour to pick up my vehicle. The service rep told me I was overdue a number of required services. If they had checked the Carfax site for this vehicle, they would have seen all the services had been performed at different dealerships. People I dealt with: Amanda Not a good service manager. Talked to her once during this escapade. Alea: Great job of answering the phones and getting Alyssa to call me back. Alyssa: Not a good service advisor. She is the "I will get back to you in 15 Minutes as promised" person. After I left this dealership, I went to AAA and my car was repaired quickly and efficiently. Avoid at all cost. Their representative Hailey lied about the diagnostic fee. She claimed she explained there would be one for the car when I dropped it off. She absolutely did not. The next day I called and asked for an update on my car, she said no one had gotten around to it, and there would be a diagnostic fee. This is the first time she ever made mention of it. The next day I came in person. I wanted to make sure this is exactly the person I spoke with, and make sure she knew she was talking with me. Maybe she thought I was someone else on the phone. When I walked in and explained she never mentioned the fee, and never went into detail about anything regarding the car outside of the information I provided. She responded with the lie that she told me, which again is completely untrue. I took my car back and cancelled the work order. If your representative is willing to lie about a diagnostic fee, I would never allow them around my car. They average 1 star reviews for a reason. read more

My husband took our vehicle in because of a specific cosmetic issue. They decided on their own to examine the interworkings and then charge him over $200 in labor and refused to give him his car back until he paid for not even fixing the issue. Also refused to look up his account because his car is still covered. They said he can go home and try to find it himself. They are thieves and no wonder why they have such a low rating. They will keep your car for days on end and not call you with any updates, you have to constantly call them for updates and beg them to do their job... finally after a week we asked about getting a rental and were told it would be a fee everyday for the rental... we have been to other jeep dealers in the past and this is a scam policy made up by Amanda the manager... never have we ever had to pay a fee per day for rental from other jeep service centers... on top of that she told us we needed to make a down payment for the service... again another made up policy. I have owned plenty of jeeps and this has never been a policy. after days of our jeep sitting in their shop with no updates we finally decided to cut the BS and do business elsewhere. Amanda is a horrible manager and I see based on other reviews I'm not the only one who experienced this. If you value your sanity, don't go to this jeep dealer!! A year ago I brought my car in for a diagnosis on my engine light coming on for overheating. They told me that my coolant was leaking into my engine and that it would be $3600 to fix. In a panic I considered selling my car to jeep to get something new. I was heavily being sold by a salesperson and manager to agree to getting another car while also being told that If I continue driving my car as is that it could lock my engine up sooner than later(basically trying to not let me leave without agreeing to sell them my car and get a new one.) the salesperson I spoke to almost seemed upset that I wasn't willing to agree to anything right then and there and wanted to think on it. I say all that to say I got a second opinion and they told me I just needed coolant. 365 days later no sign of overheating. No signals of my dashboard or signs of leaking. I don't know much about cars and how things are diagnosed but in hindsight that whole experience just seemed like bad business to me and an easy way to finesse a customer. read more

If you value you credit or sanity, do not do business with Mills Auto Group- aka Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Pineville. I attempted to purchase my leased Jeep in December of 2020 from Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Pineville. It was a very straightforward transaction that I was told was completed in December. In January I started asking for information about my transaction from the individuals I had been working with. In Mid January, I was repeatedly told via text that everything was completed and fine and I would get my documents soon. On January 29th, after calling, texting and emailing for over a week, I was finally able to connect with someone who told me that my payoff had never been made and in the months prior to asking for a status update, and that I was given inaccurate information. This has had a significant impact on my credit, as I had two open loans on the same Jeep, which I did not know about, and was not paying on. I was specifically told it was taken care of and I did not need to make a payment and the lender would connect with me to set up my account. As of February 23rd 2021, no one had been able to provide me my transaction documentation or information on my new lender to make my payments. I was eventually given information and my loan was with First Tech. Without my permission, First Tech opened a bank account for me as well as the loan. I thought the nightmare was over. In June of 2022 I got an email informing me my tax, title and registration was over due. Along with failing to make my payoff, Mills Auto Group failed to register my Jeep and follow through on the tax, title and registration, which was included in the purchase. At this point in time, the car has not been registered since I purchased it in 2021. I have been trying for months to get this resolved. I have gotten no response. I have emailed, called, gone to the dealership, nothing. read more

The service department is horrible. I've been trying to get my turn signal lightbulb changed for 3 weeks now. They never answer the phone...ever. It always goes to the voicemail of someone named Jeff. When you go in they're always too busy to help you and then recommend you come back another time. I went in around 11:30am and she said everyone was on lunch and to come back after 3. I came back after 3 and they said it would be a 2-3 hour wait. Came back today around 10:30am and again they were "busy" and said wait time was about 3 hours. The guy even told me turn signals aren't a priority and anyone with an oil change or check engine light will go before me. read more

How can we get the option to give zero stars? Seriously. I went in yesterday to test drive and ideally purchase a new car. It's interesting that walking in and first talking to someone made me text a friend saying that this guy had weird vibes. I "worked" with Tim - who in the beginning was kinda awkward, not very friendly, and overall didn't communicate well. For example, he would just walk away without an explanation of what he was doing, so I was left in the dark a lot. He started to warm up some after I started asking questions about him, which is odd for someone who is supposed to be in sales. Anyway. After providing him with details of what I was looking for he was trying to find something at another location as they didn't have that on their lot. After a few seconds, he said that there wasn't anything in the color I wanted. But as soon as I got on my phone to look I found something in under a minute. I was able to take a similar car for a test drive, however, they had all features turned off as it was still in shipping mode, which was weird. In addition, I had to start my test drive by following him to the gas station because they weren't sure there was gas in the car. (HAHA WHAT?) Ended up loving the car so I waived the 1,000 red flags to the side. BIG MISTAKE. For the first "proposal" for the car & trade-in I seriously thought it was a joke. My car (with a trade-in value of 13,500-15,000) they offered 9,500. In addition, they put the base price of the car HIGHER than the advertised price and had the audacity to add a 4,500 car shortage charge. *Disclaimer - I know in some situations the car shortage charge is legit, but not in cars that are still easily found. He also spent a few minutes before showing me the offer discussing the car shortage, so you already knew he was about to say something out of line. I asked him if this was seriously their offer and the best they could do. He went back and forth with me asking what I really expected for my trade-in and I finally told him. I said they had one more chance to put an offer together. He went back to his team and while they were working on it he came back to ask me a question. The conversation ended up progressing to me finally stating to him that I honestly felt since I came in as a single female he thought he could take advantage of that and I'm extremely trusted. He had the audacity to raise his voice at me and say that he is offended and that questions his integrity, especially after being in the business for 30+ years. But sir, your integrity SHOULD be questioned after that. He actually kept trying to go back and forth with me, with a raised voice, to the point that another member of his team had to come out and tell him to walk away. The other team member was nice, however, they continued to try to play me. They even printed out a KBB estimate, trying to show that my car was only worth 10k. Sorry dear, I already did my research before stepping foot on your site. Anyway - I walked out after telling them they should be embarrassed of themselves. Side note - if they take your keys to do an estimate be sure to tell them they have to bring them back to you. They held my keys in another room while putting together these ridiculous "offers" so I could not leave. Extremely unprofessional, unwelcoming, and TERRIBLY dishonest people. Ended up going to Keffer Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM who not only found me a car with all the options I was looking for, offered me a fair trade-in value on the first go-around (14k), and worked with me so we could have a win-win outcome. read more

Had a recall appointment in February. The nice receptionist called and apologized that the part had not come and and wanted to reschedule in March. She assured me it would be in and they would take care of my vehicle. I take off work, rearrange my schedule go to the appointment and they tell me the car in front of me gets the part and they don't have anymore in stock. What a waste of time and complete inconvenience! No one could call or text and say the part wasn't in? Terrible customer service. Avoid this dealership unless you want to waste time and gas. I can honestly say that my experience at Classic Chrysler Jeep Dodge was nothing short of AMAZING! To say that this was my best car maintenance experience would be a complete understatement. From my first interaction with J.J. until my final payment with Ed, their communication was extremely patient, personable and professional. Both gentlemen made sure to thoroughly explain the process, give me a realistic timeframe to complete the services I needed and also the precise cost with no unexpected changes in anything. I will always get my Jeep serviced here. I'm literally a customer for life. To J.J. and Ed - Thanks for handling my Jeep like your own. Thanks for restoring my faith in good ol' customer service. Service Department Not Good Daye was July 19, 2024 I bought my car 2019 from this dealership as a New 2018 dodge *******. Car was in excellent shape well kept services on my car from this dealership and my AAA car care. Stacks of servicing of paperwork to show the great maintenance on this vehicle. Took the car to the same dealership I bought the car from for a first time tune up after ******* miles as recommended through the dealership. Car had no issues running quietly no jerking of any sort. Two days after the tune up , engine popping on so I took back to the dealership , they claimed it was a defective spark plug they put in so they changed it out, two days after change out again the engine light came back on along with the overheating engine gauge this time. Dealerships was to far so I got the car to my other service place ******** car, ran a test on it and it turned out to be a blowed head gasket do to no coolant in the engine. What did the dealership mechanic do to my car during the tune up and fuel injection cleaning, still paid $939 to end up with a blow head gasket and nobody thought to check on the engine coolant before performing a tune up. I am stuck in 2 years car payment with Chrysler ************ and this issue is not over I definitely will be reaching out to the Bank on this issue and I know they are not going to like to hear and one of their dealers mechanic shop treating a customer that finances through them like this. This was a great no issues vehicle and I was the only owner this is sad and not expectable from the car own dealership like wow. If you cant trust your own dealership that makes the cars , who can you trust to fix your car. read more

My regular mechanic was super busy so I called Classic to replace the brakes on my Grand Cherokee. They just started squealing and I was certain that it was the wear sensors. I also needed an alignment and a tire rotation. After I left, I received a call from Michael in the service department saying that my brakes were completely fine and a pebble was lodged in the caliper. They could have just removed the pebble and replaced the brakes and I wouldn't have known any difference. It goes a long way that the tech and the service advisor was honest with me and I wouldn't hesitate to bring my vehicle back here for service. read more

Took my car in for some warranty work asked them to call me before doing anything that would charge me. They proceeded to charge me 300$+ for diagnostics and told me what they thought was wrong and said it wouldn't be covered under my warranty. then told me that even if I got it fixed through them they wouldn't waive the diagnostic fee. I proceeded to take my car in somewhere else paid for a diagnostic fee there and they told me it was something completely different and was cheaper. Highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs as they will charge you for a diagnostic fee even when they diagnose the problem incorrectly. read more

My hubby traded in his old truck and bought a new Dodge Ram last fall at Classic Chrysler in Pineville. We financed through Chrysler, and found out six months later, that our vehicle was never registered with the DMV. We have been unable to pay our property tax and registration for the truck. We contacted the DMV and they said the dealer has to initiate the paperwork for a new vehicle. We have called and emailed the dealership half a dozen times and they refuse to call or reply. This dealer has a D- rating with the Better Business Bureau. Wish we'd known before we bought. In the meantime we are making payments and paying insurance for a vehicle we don't legally own. and it has dead tags. I waited a year to give them time to fix the issue but they've ignored us, so I'm posting this review. read more

I had my 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT in at classic Chrysler Jeep last summer for a loud squeaking noise from under the hood. They had my jeep off and on for a total of about 6-7 weeks between changing out multiple parts covered by extended warranty coverage. Two power steering pumps, water pump only after I had taken it back because they hadn't solve the issue when they said they did! When I took it back for the water pump they said they discovered that the rack and pinion had a leak and it was covered under warranty so I agreed to have the work done. It took about 3 weeks for the part to come in and they still had not figured out the loud squeaking noise. They replace the rack and pinion but they did not do an alignment on the car which I did not realize until about 6 months after the fact when I was under my vehicle to change the oil and seen that both of the front wheels had worn down to the threads of the tire on the very edge of the inside of both front tires! Extremely negative "Toe" on the front end and I had never had that issue prior to my rack and pinion being changed out! I had left multiple messages for the service advisor who helped me to call me which he never did and I physically had to drive into the dealer just to get in contact with him just to get an appointment to look at it as the left front wheel felt odd when I backed out my driveway at which point after the technician checked the vehicle the service advisor said he made an adjustment and it should be okay but as I knew they could not do anything for an alignment due to me having to purchase new tires. I have mechanical experience and the photo shows that this was not a pothole knocking the wheels out of alignment! I will say my personal opinion is unless the service advisor has been a mechanical technician which I doubt my advisor has been then they don't know anything about mechanical repair! Please look elsewhere for a service center for your vehicle because this place is one I would not recommend! Alignment was done by Goodyear service center read more

I literally have only had my car for 5 days out of the month and a few days that I have technically owned it.. it cut off twice with in a week of owning the vehicle had to pay to get it towed twice to their service department .. then they gave me a loaner .. had the car for 2 weeks... the loaner.. they hounded me about bringing it back .. I did any got my car with break light error still on .. they then did not have my tags and had to inspect the vehicle ( after having it for 3 weeks ) brought it back I still didn't get my tags for another week.. no manager called.. no support team called.. super disappointed and definitely would never advise anyone to go to this place ... they also told me to tell the. I purchased a 2017 Jeep Wrangler from this Dealership in March The staff was Friendly and Helpful This vehicle was traded in an they were in the process of getting it ready to sell. We took it for a test drive,no problems So we went ahead with the process of the purchase We ask for a extra key,and for them to do a Front Line Detail Cleaning on the Jeep,also the Salesman said it would be full of Gas when I returned to pickup Vehicle! So 4 Days later they said it was ready to pick up. The wife had to work,so I rented a Uhaul trailer to pickup, It was raining that day so I was in a hurry to load on trailer,He assured me it was ready to go. He handed me the extra key an left. Got home to find out Jeep was nearby empty on gas and No Detail( Cleaning had be Done) (Always Make Sure This Information The Salesperson Tells You Is in Writing ) Now I'm out of about $300.00 because I had to pay out of my Pocket For This To be Taken Care Off! I bought my car at the end of April of 2022 at this dealership from a salesman called Mr. Ali. Ali was acting too friendly towards us to talk us into getting this specific car which was very odd. I took out a loan on a 2008 Toyota RAV4 worth $13,000 after an additional $1,000 down payment. After checking the car price in Carvana and Edmunds actual car value ended up being 4.500$ which means that the price I am paying is not even close to the actual one. I was given paperwork to sign indicating ''No accidents'', though both Edmunds and CARVANA show car had an accident which means I was lied to at the time of purchase about the condition of the car. Drove off the lot only to find that the oil drain plug was completely loose. Problems started from day one. I returned to the dealership and asked for swap/return or provide any kind of assistance and was offered NO solution at all. I have just made my second car payment and already had to change the suspension, the windshield, and the brake master cylinder. The month into owning the car TPMS sensor light came on and we had to fix that issue too. This car is just eating up my money! Engine is notoriously known for oil consumption issues (2AZ-FE), to which I was not made aware of also. Car is currently being tested for overconsumption of oil at a Toyota dealership. Overall, I would give this place zero stars if that was an option. The worst dealership I have been to. Look elsewhere to buy your car, this dealership is not trustworthy. read more

Worst experience ever!! Attempted to purchase a Jeep Grand Cherokee while trading in my Mercedes. The unprofessionalism, Rudeness and Arrogance from the used vehicle manger (Bob Julius) & an apparent "Finance manager" was such a shock I still cannot believe it. A process including trading in your current car to obtain a goal of most individuals (purchase of a new car) should not be overly stressful when you walk in knowing exactly what you want. You expect to be treated with respect, fairness and even as a student in the sense of wanting to know the details of the 40k you're about to spend. Asking to see the financial breakdown for my trade-in and the price of the SUV shouldn't be difficult specially when i've been in twice between 3 days. Giving the dealership 2 hrs between my 1st visit today and the final time stopping in tonight still no breakdown available, instead I was reminded their doing me a favor as it's a few minutes past 8pm & the dealership closes at 8pm. After being reminded of the favor their doing me I was addressed by the wrong name, assumed my trade in was someone else's car not even my Mercedes which they appraised 2 hrs prior. The conversation went on a bit longer with "Bob" standing at my side and the "Finance manager" sitting across speaking to me in a way that was completely unprofessional and just plain rude. You don't treat nor speak to people like that ever specially when your goal is to sell them a new car. My advise to buyers - Ask for the financial breakdown of the large purchase your about to make, know your credit score prior to walking in so they can base the financials off that # vs allowing them to ding your credit by running it. read more

I agree with a few others I would give 0 stars if I could. I bought an oil change package and I had one left. So I call to make an appointment, Brad answers and tells Me no Appointment needed they do first come first serve. He recommended before 830 and after 230pm. So I show up at 3pm to 5 men sitting behind the counter mad 1 in an office near by. I ask for an oil change and the first guy says it's not gonna happen today. So I said well I spoke to brad earlier and he said to Come after 230p. He states well we have 2 technicians and they are behind so you will have to. One back another time. I ask again can I just make an appointment since I have a paid oil change due to me. He said no. I said can I be refunded he said no. So my question is you have my money and you refuse to perform the Service isn't that against the law. I get people don't come To work anymore....but there was 6 men sitting behind the counter for the "service" area that obviously do not provide service. Maybe it's time to invest more in hiring more technicians and less supervisors or hey what about stop selling cars you can't provide service to....just a thought. read more

I was in the process of purchasing a 2009 Jeep Wrangler and had placed a $500 deposit to hold the Jeep with Tim. The night before I was going to sign, they lowered the price on the website by $799 and posted the actual mileage which was 500+ above the mileage that I was quoted on. However, when I bring this up to Ben, the sales manager he said it wasn't lowered & that I must be mistaken. I wasn't and my partner saw it as well. So, even though I was disappointed I refused to be lied to. I walked away from the deal in financing because of their shady practices. Trust me, your time will be wasted and they're not trustworthy if they tell me the opposite of what I know I saw. Highly DO NOT recommended! read more

BEWARE..PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK! I purchased a Ford edge titanium everything seemed fine and at first I noticed some spots and they said it needed to be detailed better every time I called in no one was available when I finally came back they couldn't take the spots out it was embedded in the paint now each time they were nice enough to give me gas however I started having issues with the engine light coming on the car stalling and starting rough. Each time I contacted classic Jeep they washed over it now the car would start okay afterwards and although the engine light was on it was running. I took it to AutoZone and they said the third cylinder is misfiring I contacted the dealership again and it was washed over again. Finally the car wasn't starting the battery was dead so I took it to crossroads Ford and they were amazing they said there was a warranty still on the car and said the third cylinder was misfiring however it also needed an engine replacement work valued at 6 k. Thank goodness it was still covered under Ford warranty they even gave me a loaner. I contacted classic Jeep and told them that this should have been caught by their service department if AutoZone could find it they should have been able to find it and taking care of it and then I wanted a call back from the manager about this issue so that no one else has to go through the same thing. Their service department obviously did not do an inspection of this car properly it was very easy for AutoZone to just plug in the machine and find the issue.when I spoke to the salesman he said well you did buy a used car! so that is not an excuse for a company when selling cars they're supposed to do a thorough inspection obviously the selling cars without inspecting them.Don't purchase from this dealership it'll be at your own peril I would give them no stars at all if it was an option. And keep in mind the salespeople are very polite and helpful but they're not the ones who are doing the inspections of the cars.also beware of the financial department I was very clear on how I wanted the money I was depositing put on my account and they did whatever they wanted and then made excuses for it.
