Offered lifetime repair warranty, 4-5 years later sent in to be repaired and have 65 email chain over a period of 12 months with excuses of 'Holiday' and 'Leave' every few weeks. Never showed repair and have avoided returning the ring and have stopped all correspondence. If you want to loose your soon to be wifes ring buy from these guys... NEVER AGAIN!! This is my worst experience ever as a customer and is never recommend this store to anyone. Unprofessional and heartless. read more

Albert was the quintessential gentleman throughout the process of acquiring my fiancées engagement ring. I had ordered and returned two rings from online retailers and each had a few issues that were unacceptable. I searched reviews on yelp for diamond district spots and cdh reviews were detailed and well written. His website is also amazing so I started browsing. I called Albert at the websites number and shortly he called me back. I explained what I was looking for and my budget. I emailed him pictures of what I had returned to the other retailers. Also, I sent him links to the ring he had in stock i wanted to purchase. He called me an hour later and told me he could make me what I wanted better than the in stock ring represented it. I left a deposit over the phone and we scheduled to meet a week later. He sent me videos of the 2.03 carat stone and told me total weight of the halo setting diamonds. His assistant and he checked in a couple times over the week to assure me we were on schedule. I felt relieved but worried about the stone quality and setting because of my past experiences. This was different because I am now getting to look at the item before paying in full.... When I met Albert at his ultra secure setup on 47th street I was in awe. This was the ring. The perfect one I had been looking for. The color and clarity of the stone was above what I was expecting, far above. The cushion cut is just awesome. Albert you are the man! I had the ring appraised and the Appraiser asked me what I paid and he said impossible. Then he took it in the back for a couple minutes and came out and was astonished. Told me that Albert must have owed me a favor. My lovely fiancée said yes! Unfortunately all of her sisters husbands were upset because their girls want an upgrade....... Albert thank you so much. I already bought 2 items from this company. I found classic from ebay while browsing for a diamond stud ring for my wife. He has good items but I'm worried about buying from ebay sight unseen. So when I got a chance to go to NY I went around the diamond district looking for that ring, got some prices but did not get a good customer service or items from the stores in the area. Running out of options, I called the number I found on eBay and was able to make an appointment with Albert. Albert showed me different options inside a secured vault (he shows you loose diamonds then set it on a ring). I found 2 items that I thought my wife would like, I asked him to set the first choice for me and I picked it up later that afternoon. I was lucky because my flight was early in the morning the next day. Got home and gave it to my wife but she was not impressed with the brilliance. I quickly called Albert and asked him if I can replace it with my second choice item, which is actually cheaper :). He agreed and the next day he sent me the item while I send him back the first ring that I bought. Second item received, wife got it, she was ecstatic. I was in the good side for many years :). A few years after I called Albert again as I saw my wife in a hunt for a diamond earrings. Albert told me that he has items that he thinks my wife will like as he already knows our criteria. I paid for it over the phone and next day I received the item. We liked it so much even thought it was the first time we've seen it. Long story short, ALbert is a standup guy that is trustworthy and has passion with his business. Will definitely go back again and get some other items from him. I made a mistake of buying another item from another company in Los Angeles and I said will not do it again. Will definitely call him first. Highly recommended! read more

I found Albert from Classic Diamond House on ebay and was unsure if i wanted to do business with them because of the online forum.Since they were semi local to me i decided to go in person to see if it was worth my time. I was not disappointed ! I was greeted by Albert and he offered me a great deal on a beautiful diamond. He was able to work with my budget and meet all needs while exceeding my expectations ! no need to worry diamonds are certified and my future wife could not be more ecstatic. i purchased a pair of 3.07 carat diamond stud earrings for $5350. after being underwhelmed by the quality (cloudy, no fire and lack of brilliance) i immediately notified CDH requesting a refund and the process for returning the item. their diamonds are "enhanced" so essentially they're dead stone, or at least to me they were! it took several days for them to return my messages but when they did i connected with sales rep Carolie. she mentioned that according to Albert i could upgrade to a 4.0 carat earring for about $900 +/- more . i requested photos and it took a few days for them to get them over to me. we went back and forth and in the end i still requested a refund. i returned the original stones via Fed Ex (tracking # & signature) to CDH and they did not refund my credit card so i filed a dispute via Amex. the dispute was closed in my favor and the credit card company issued a refund. i will NEVER do business or recommend this company to ANYONE based on their lack of integrity and customer service. note to the business: if you have a refund policy HONOR IT. if you don't want to accept returns STATE THAT and change your "policy" - shady! read more

I wanted to see a variety of designs, shapes, and settings--and they had so many beautiful options to try on. The experience was warm, helpful, and not overwhelming at all. However, I ended up going with another jeweler a few stores down because my boyfriend had a connection there. The moment I received my ring, I immediately regretted not choosing Jangmi. The ring I got was nothing close to what I had asked for. The prongs were bent, and I had specifically requested a higher setting so that a wedding band could sit flush--but none of my bands (even very thin ones) sat properly. I brought it back and asked for multiple fixes. To his credit, he did make adjustments for free, but when I received the ring the second time, it still didn't match my vision at all. What I wanted was simple and classic: a 6-prong setting with tall, straight prongs (similar to the Tiffany style) and small claw tips. Instead, the ring was still not high enough, and the prongs were extremely thick--both from the top and side view--which completely took away from the beauty of the diamond. At that point, I was honestly so frustrated and ready to give up. But I remembered how positive my initial experience at Jangmi was, so I decided to reach out and ask if they could reset my ring. Even though the previous jeweler was willing to keep making changes for free, I didn't feel comfortable going back. I would much rather pay for something done right. And I am SO glad I did. Jangmi had the exact design I had been envisioning all along. Mrs. Kim was incredibly patient, attentive, and knowledgeable. She had a wax model made for me to try on before finalizing the ring, which made such a huge difference. Seeing and wearing the design in person gave me so much confidence--honestly, I preferred this so much more than just looking at CAD images, which can be hard to interpret if you're not in the industry. Within just two weeks, my ring was exactly what I had dreamed of from the start. The craftsmanship, the proportions, the setting--everything was perfect. My biggest regret is not coming to Jangmi Jewelry from the beginning. But one thing I can promise is that I will absolutely be coming back here for my wedding bands. If you're even thinking about going here--just do it. You won't regret it!

I recently bought a diamond solitaire engagement ring from Classic diamond house. I ordered over the phone from the Classic Diamond House website. I spoke to Mr Albert he is the most nicest person ever. I was hesitant at first about buying a diamond ring from a website over the phone without seeing it in person before buying. But as soon as I spoke to Mr Albert I completely trusted him straight away and ordered it because he sounded very genuine, friendly, nice, kind and made me feel super comfortable and I just found it very easy to talk to him and ask him and tell him what I wanted. He told me about the quality, carat and a little bit of knowledge about diamonds and he gave me such a great deal which was perfect within my budget. He managed to work out exactly what I wanted and what I was looking for in my price range. I wanted a diamond solitaire ring either 1 carat or bigger and I got a bigger one for an excellent price within my budget. Every time I called Mr Albert he has always been super nice and kind and co-operated with every single question I had and advised me and helped me and he never got sick and tired of answering my phone calls and my questions. I experienced awesome customer service and amazing offer from Mr Albert, I passed on his details to my friends and family that is how happy I am with Mr Albert and most of all my beautiful ring. I received my delivery in the post and Mr Albert sent it very fast within 2 days I received my ring. When I saw my diamond for the first time after receiving it, I was just shocked because I didn't think that the diamond would be this beautiful and huge and perfect for the price I paid. It is beautiful and big and just what I wanted. Honestly I always dreamed of having a 1 carat diamond and I never thought I'd be able to afford it because the best looking and the best quality ones are soo expensive and people usually get small diamonds to avoid seeing the inclusions and imperfections in the diamond. But I got a diamond bigger than 1 carat and it is absolutely beautiful in color, quality, clarity and it looks like the ring that I saw in Tiffany and Co. I am just soo happy because it is a dream come true and I am thankful to Mr Albert for letting my dream really happen. Thank you soo much Mr Albert and I will be shopping from you forever now and I have passed your details to everyone I know and I will pray for you and your business to do really good. Mr Albert you really have no idea what you did for me, you made it possible for me to wear my dream ring today. People saw me wearing my ring and they actually thought I bought it from Tiffany and Co. I have people asking me if my ring is a Tiffany engagement ring and if I bought it from Tiffany and Co. IT MAKES ME SMILE AND SUPER HAPPY INSIDE and I tell them no I bought it from Classic Diamond House and they ask for your details and want to know more. I had a great experience with my ring purchase. I wanted to get a new piece for our wedding anniversary, but I wanted to pick the stone myself. I work with jewelry, but a department store is not the place to get something outstanding. I have seen diamonds with different grades on the certificate and not always the higher grade looked the prettiest to the eye. Of course, if you want to buy a flawless investment diamond then every diamond grade makes a huge difference in a price value, but if you want just to have a sparkly diamond and enjoy wearing it, then having some inclusions is not a problem since nobody will be staring that close at it. I was paying a very close attention to the cut grade though, as it greatly affects the fire in a diamond. And being in retail I wanted to get a very good value for my purchase. My search led me to the Classic Diamond House. They do not have the photos of each stone on their website, but they do have the size and certificate grading information to view, so a person knows what to expect from each diamond. Within a couple of hours I found an amazing deal, ordered it without any seeing and I am very happy with it. My partner found Classic Diamond House on Ebay. A little skeptical at first we did a lot of research, read every possible review we could find and decided to contact them. We soon realised that the team at CDH were extremely helpful assisting us with every question or query we had regarding the purchase of our engagement ring. We decided to buy the ring we had fallen in love with. We received the ring after about a week (it had to travel to Australia) and we were thrilled with it. We had it independently appraised and it came back at quite a bit more than what we paid for it. We have no hesitation recommending Classic Diamond House to anyone looking for an engagement ring or any other type of diamond jewellery. My fiancee and I bought a beautiful princess cut diamond ring online from here. We were a bit worried about what it would look like considering we hadn't seen the final product in person. However, when it was delivered, the beauty of it blew our minds away. It looks so much better than the ones we saw physically at stores. We are also getting a lot of compliments on it. We communicated with someone named Albert regarding the shipping and we got it on time as promised. Now, it's just a little too loose and will need to be re-sized, but I guess that's the risk you take for buying online without trying it on first. If they have matching bands, we will probably get our wedding bands from here as well. read more

I was browsing ebay gauging prices on used diamonds when I came across Classic Diamond House. I was very skeptical of purchasing a diamond online, but their prices and quality caught my attention. I worked with one of their sales associates who was highly patient and walked me through the whole process, even sending me iPhone photos of the diamonds I was interested in.
