They damaged…read morethe vinyl with a cut in the flooring about 2", when they came to do the repair, they cut a 4" square around the cut and put a piece of vinyl in that matched, except this made the problem worse. They should have replaced the whole section of flooring. The cut they made, which made it worse, caused more things to catch on it and looked worse than awful. Horrible pride of workmanship. Horrible. Never, never use these people. They are either clueless or do not care. Either way, never, never use them.

He cuts corners and rushes things and then will blame you for the mistakes he makes. He then told us he would come by and fix a few things and then never showed up. Please do not use this company. One word for this business horrible…read more I bought a sofa and rug on January 2, 2023. They committed to deliver them within 10 to 14 days. Over a month later, my items are still not delivered. Initially, the interaction with the owner was great. He was very gracious and customer focus. However, after I bought the furniture and rugs, their communications and follow up turned horrible. I had to constantly call them for updates. They committed to call me and never did. They only responded when I called. They never initiated one call to provide me an update on my order. They told me that my products were on the truck from North Carolina and I should get my items by Wednesday. When I called to follow up, they said they're waiting for the truck to arrive. Now I just got a call from the owner saying that my sofa was damaged and they have to return it. When I asked, about the rug I ordered, his response was, "he thinks that the rug was returned with the sofa". I said to him that didn't make sense because he said he just discovered the sofa was damaged. Additionally, the carpet has nothing to do with the sofa. They are two different items. He says it's a common practice for the manufacturer to return all of the items that were ordered together. He did not offer me anything for the inconvenience. I requested my money back and it appears he did give it back, but I'll check to see if it shows up on my credit card. I think the whole thing was a sham and I was being strung along. I honestly do not believe that he placed my order. I'm not sure if he was trying to float my money. I do not recommend this place of business. While I understand that they may not have control of the delivery and supply chain, they could've demonstrated the common courtesy of calling me to keep me apprised of my order. Avoid them at all cost!

SEPTEMBER 5, 2023 UPDATE OF 11/30/2022 POST Now that I have…read morebeen enjoying my additional eighteen (18) interior doors that I purchased from Doors for Builders, I would be remiss if I did not take a moment to update my 2022 post. Below are some photos showing a few of my Doors for Builders interior hall doors (and trim), the closet sliding doors and the depth of the interior doors. Unlike inexpensive doors that one might buy from another company, these are heavy, solid and thick doors manufactured in Europe - amazing quality! Just like the first eight (8) doors I purchased from, and had installed by, Doors for Builders, my experience dealing with Daniel was excellent from the ordering process to the install completion. From start to finish, Daniel made sure that any and all of my possible concerns were addressed to my satisfaction. His customer service is beyond reproach. It was our pleasure to work with Daniel! I was very pleased that Daniel chose Lukasz to install my doors. Lukasz has a strong work ethic of which Doors for Builders can be proud. Lukasz arrived in a timely manner and stayed as long as was needed to appropriately accomplish the installation of so many doors. Lukasz is a skilled, exemplary craftsman who made sure that every detail of door and hardware installation was completed to perfection. Over the years, my floors had shifted, so some of my old doors were difficult to open/close. Lukasz made the effort and spent the time to carefully install each of the new doors precisely level - no shortcuts from Lukasz! It is wonderful to be able to now have doors that open/close in such a smooth manner. Also, Lukasz continually cleaned up any and all debris that occurred during the installation. Words cannot express how much I am enjoying all twenty-six (26) attractive Doors for Builders' exterior and interior doors that are now in my home. I continue to receive complimentary comments from everyone who visits. I had most of my home remodeled recently, and these doors added the elegant finishing touch to my home's appearance! My husband and I are very pleased customers of Doors for Builders and will continue to be happy to recommend them without hesitation. I see some had a bad experience, however, we did not! We have a newer custom home that I built…read moremyself. We reclaimed a solid wood door that weighed almost 300 pounds. After a few years of kids slamming the door we developed cracks. Big cracks! We searched for a long time for a door manufacture. We knew it would be expensive because we literally built our opening around the reclaimed door. We went a few more years, purchased a custom screen door for $3800, and then went a few more years. Finally, this year I had enough with the cold air coming into the house. I previously corresponded with Sandra when I was looking for a custom door and she provided a rough estimate. Two years had passed and I called her up and was ready to move forward. Sandra explained every option to us and PROs and CONS. I was so excited, I scheduled another appointment to have my wife with me. We only needed an hour to pick our door, the finish, and the hardware. And yes, it is expensive! It's a custom measure and fabricated door. I paid to have them install the door. Sandra gave us all the information on how our warranty works, how to best care for the door, information on adding the screen back (which we tried and it did look good and didn't really work), and how the sun could potential effect the door. We understood all of this. The door took a long time to come in 5-6 months. A little aggravating, but not unbearable. For $10K, we wanted the door to be right. The install was excellent! The touch-up crew was fantastic! And well, the door is amazing! Two issues for us, walking around the back area shop can be overwhelming:). And we don't have other doors that need replacing because I would do the process again!
