Late lunch after skiing. Classic kitchen cafe is a cute little establishment in a small shopping center in Westford close to 495 serving breakfast and lunch. Banquet seating across one wall and high top seating in the one room dining area with a bar/drink area and coffee station. Lots of great breakfast choices. I'm so glad I went with the Western omelette. It was one of the best ones I've ever had! Perfect amount of perfectly sized ham, onion, peppers and cheese melted throughout and the wheat toast that comes with it is only one piece but it's a very large thick Bread, which was delicious. I ordered it with hashbrowns, which I was excited about, but they are not actually traditional hashbrowns ( shredded potatoes grilled), they're like McDonald's hashbrowns. They were kind enough to switch out for the home fries, which were very tasty. Build your own burrito $12 was nice addition but the hollandaise was lacking on the benny. They also had some breakfast/lunch specials, and who doesn't love biscuits and gravy!? so good! Service was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back soon! stopped in for brunch. ordered a short stack of chocolate pancake and two benedict's. service was a little slow to start but the kitchen made up for the time. pancakes were nice and fluffy, would get it again. the benedict's eggs were pretty much hard boiled eggs. benedict's should be served with poached eggs, which are running yolks. these literally were hard boiled eggs. when looking at the pics, the eggs are perfectly spherical, no poached eggs look that well rounded. i inquired about the eggs, the answer was, order them lightly poached. again, benedict's are supposed to undercooked. read more

We only order the build your own breakfast burrito from Classic Kitchen Cafe, for the sole reason that we drop off dry cleaning next door and promptly realize we are starving but are also in a rush every single time! The burritos are always made within 5-7 minutes, piping hot, huge and so tasty! Here's our order: Sausage, peppers, home fries, and cheddar cheese Sometimes the burrito will show up with salsa but I'm not complaining! I could do without the salsa though because I like adding hot sauce on my own. But, the staff is so friendly and helpful and the burrito is so tasty. We have never sat down in the diner. I have been inside to use the bathroom though and the place is nice. It reminds me of a modern, clean version of a traditional diner. read more

This place is sooooo good!!! I went here on a whim with my friend and our 2 kiddos. She lives in Westford and had never been here but also loved it!!! The place from the outside leaves a lot to the imagination. Honestly, I was pre-judging this place before going in. What a wrong thing to do because this place is so yummy!!! The place is on the smaller side, but it didn't feel cramped. We walked in and were genuinely greeted by a friendly woman that ended up being our waitress. I wish I remembered her name, so I could give her a shout out because she was great ... very kind and assertive. She was also very patient and understanding with our two 20 month olds. Anyway, to get on with the good stuff ... we came for some breakfast food. Not only is their menu extensive (but not overwhelming), it's also affordable and very yummy!!! I want to give a shout out to my pancakes that were on the special menu. LOL!!! Sweet corn and bacon pancakes ... mouthwatering!!! I'm craving them now!!! So unique!!! I love that you can order a short stack, which (in my opinion) is the perfect amount. We also got coffee and other items. Everything was good!!! It was also not salty or oily, which is a downfall to a lot of breakfast places. I highly recommend this place!!! We live in Westford and can't believe it took us this long to try The Classic Kitchen -- it's officially added to our list of favorite local spots! We went on a Saturday morning, so there was the typical wait, but it was absolutely worth it. We ordered the build-your-own scramble bowl with homemade hash and sweet potato tots, along with the veggie bowl, and everything was delicious. For starters, if you've reviewed this place and given it more than 2 stars then you really don't know what good food is and should stop reviewing. Sorry. The breakfast here was not good. There were too many frozen foods on the menu and the dishes that should have flavor had none whatsoever. They served frozen "hash browns" which looked like the McDonald's version, frozen beignets (if they weren't frozen then it's even worse), and we believe their poached eggs were pre-poached and reheated. Corn beef hash and hollandaise sauce were truly flavorless. Standard breakfast food is the easiest to get right if you try. This is an accurate review, sorry. Vibe: This is essentially a diner, it was not busy at on when we went on a Friday Service: Very good, our server was excellent Food: I got the crispy chicken bowl which was labeled as 'layers of hash browns, fried chicken, and eggs.' To be fair this was accurate but a heads up that the hash browns and fried chicken are not homemade, it's store bought hash brown pucks and fried chicken tenders. Stopped in today to give this restaurant another chance and have to say they still have many of the same issues from my last visit. I ordered a cheese, tomato and sausage omelette and found that the eggs were severely overcooked and rubbery. I'm not much a fan of this style of omelette in which the ingredients are scrambled in with the egg. Harder to keep the eggs pillowy soft with this method. My friend order a veggie omelette with toast. We also ordered the loaded home fries and biscuits and gravy. When the orders came to the table they had mixed up what sides went with which omelette. The biscuits were over cooked and the sausage gravy was bland and needed a lot of help with pepper. The loaded home fries were a disappointment as well as the home fries were huge pieces of potatoes mixed with good bacon and the cheese wasn't put on just the top so when it was finished off got burnt and didn't melt into the rest of the potatoes. Plus we had to ask for the accompanying sour cream. Only good thing was the decor was clean and nice. Our server Ashlee was very pleasant and attentive. read more

A true hidden gem that you shouldn't sleep on! I was very impressed by the robust menu. From omelettes and bennys to breakfast bowls and scrambles, this place has it all! There is truly something here for everyone! They even have gluten free bread. I ordered a veggie scramble with sourdough bread and fruit. The portions were generous and the dish itself was quite tasty. I'd go back and order the same exact dish! You can expect reasonable prices and great service from the staff. Came in on a Saturday morning. The restaurant was packed with a friendly vibe. I picked up takeout - omelette with selected sides of croissant and fruit. There were no additional charges for the croissant and fruit. Everything was delicious! Croissant was warm, crunchy on the outside, flaky and buttery inside. Fruit was a full serving of fruit, not the usual tiny portion that costs extra as an upgrade at many restaurants. And the omelette was yummy. The CK Cafe hits all the marks. Friendly staff, clean and quick service with a smile. This is breakfast the way it's meant to be w/bottomless hot coffee & condiments on the tables. Assorted flavors of medium size muffins, like a grilled blueberry, was enjoyed without overshadowing our entree of eggs & corned beef hash w/sourdough toast. The hash was best in show with tiny diced potatoes & tender meat with a whisper of crispiness. The space is small, so be prepared for a wait during the weekend or arrive at 12:30pm or later. The young gentleman kindly asked how we were enjoying our meal, which is a lost art these days. Their food exudes care & love. Update Stopped into the new location (few doors down) which is were Diggy's Pizza use to be. I've be coming to the Classic Kitchen Cafe periodically since it opened. Each time I think the quality of the food they serve has continued to increase. This morning, I had Eggs Benidict with perfectly poached eggs and home fries. A little while back we phoned in to order a whole quiche that we picked up the next day to have for dinner. It too was perfect. Their new location provides comfortable seating for many more patrons. What is still the same is the warm friendly service. Highly recommended. read more
