I called Classic Limos to inquire about available vintage cars for my wedding. I was going to make it a surprise for my soon-to-be husband to take us from our hotel in downtown Los Angeles to our wedding venue, only about a mile away. It would also serve as a post-ceremony joy ride. I submitted the request online and got a very prompt email from Dan. I ended up selecting the beautiful 1937 Packard. Prior to confirming the reservation, I had a great phone conversation with Dan to explain the details of the day. He was very friendly and gave some great tips on how to seamlessly work the car into the flow of our schedule, from a surprise pick up to the grand exit. On the Big Day, our chauffeur was Daniel. He was very friendly, exactly on time, and gave a quick call to say he was parked and ready for us as expected. The car looked great and was clean, as expected. He was very accommodating as we took all sorts of pictures around the car, and we had red carpet service on both ends of our trip as well as champagne waiting for us post-ceremony. It was definitely a highlight of the day -- guests loved this touch and we got some great photos with the car! It goes without saying that having a vintage car at your wedding is an awesome touch. But beyond that, I would recommend Classic Limos as a business for being prompt and thorough throughout the reservation process. Classic Limos added an extra special touch to our wedding day! When my husband and I decided to have a vintage style wedding, I thought that it would be great if we could find a classic car to be our transportation for the day. I began to search online and came across Classic Limos. I contacted them for information, and found out that they have several amazing cars to choose from. We decided that the 1927 Packard would be perfect. When I called to book the car, I had the pleasure of speaking with Dan on the phone, and he was extremely friendly and helpful. He knows the cars extremely well, and was happy to share this knowledge with me. The day of the wedding, Dan arrived in front of our hotel with the Packard, smiling and ready to drive to the ceremony. The online pictures of the car are awesome, but it is even more beautiful in person! It is amazing to think that this car has been around for almost 100 years. Plus, it is very comfortable and roomy inside. My dad loved it, which made me happy. We had a great time riding in style to the ceremony, chatting with Dan about the details of the car. It was great to have that time with my dad before walking down the aisle. After the ceremony, at Dan's suggestion, we had a grand send-off. It felt like a wedding scene from a movie as my new husband and I exited the church with all of our family and friends surrounding us and cheering. A red carpet had been rolled out for us, and Dan was standing in front of the car, holding a silver tray with champagne and the cutest bride and groom truffles! The car was decorated with "Just Married" signs. All of our guests had a great time taking pictures of the car. It was one of the highlights of our day! It was also truly special to have a little bit of time with my husband as we rode to our reception, drinking champagne and enjoying our first few moments of marriage. My husband and I really wanted a classic Limo for our Wedding. After doing our research we found Classic Limos and I am so happy we did! Dan answered all my questions and sent me lots of great information via email. We used Classic Limos to get from our wedding reception at the Balboa Pavilion to the Newport Hyatt. Our '37 Packard showed up on time. It was in pristine condition and looked absolutely amazing. The red carpet and glass champagne glasses were an amazing touch. The champagne bottle was ours to keep with the Classic Limo logo on it as a keepsake, another nice addition. The car was showcased outside for about 30 min prior to our reception ending, then we showed up and were driven to our hotel, via the Balboa Ferry. Our chauffeur, Frankie, was awesome. He was very personable, friendly, talkative and professional. He made the car ride very enjoyable. Although we did not use the car for the entire 2 hour minimum, both my wife and I felt we got our moneys worth out of it for sure. Dan with Classic Limos was wonderful! We wanted a classic looking vintage car to drive us to and from our Chapel. My wedding coordinator found Classic Limos and the vintage Phantom we rented was perfect. Beyond that our driver Dan was amazing! Our time spent in the car was the only downtime we had the whole day and it was perfect. After 4 hours of portrait sessions I was happy to just be away from the camera for a few minutes. Instead of taking us directly to the chapel he drove us up and down the coast so we could enjoy our champagne and sandwich in peace! Then after the ceremony he drove my Husband and I up and down the coast again so we could get some great sunset shots with the car. He was super friendly and not put out at all that we asked him to drive us all around. He gave us a red carpet entrance to the chapel and even complied when we held up traffic at the valet of the reception so we could take photos in front of the fountain. The photos we got with the car are some of my favorite and it's all because Dan was willing drive us all around to get them! I wanted my daughter's wedding to be special and memorable, and the send-off was no exception. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to visit Classic Limos beforehand to ensure the vehicle I wanted for the wedding, a 1962 Rolls Royce, was as nice as indicated on the web site. Fortunately, it was. I was pleasantly surprised by the open communication throughout the preparation of the rental. Every time I called I was connected with someone who could help. By far worth every penny, the guest at sister's wedding kept asking me about the limo car we got, the 1937 Packard. The 1937 Packard (which has A/C) did not disappoint and neither did the level of service provide by Classic Limos staff. I was planning my mom's birthday,when I began calling around for limo service.I hadcalled a few places where the staff did not return phone call.I called this businessand right off the top the guy on the phone was helpful. I didn't care much for the driver because when we returned from mom 's birthday dinner the driver asked for money for his tip !! Our son and daughter hired this limo to transport us around LA during our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. Our driver, Dan, was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and funny. We couldn't have asked for a better driver. We were in their 1937 Packard - WHAT a car. People on the street everywhere did double takes as we drove by. Last but not least, the champagne was flowing every time we got back into the car to go to another destination.
