I Ordered a tux jacket a month out before my wedding. It was almost double the price of the one I really wanted on line, but decided to purchase it anyway since my size was not available on line. After three weeks I was told there was a shipping delay and it would not be in until after the wedding. The sales person I was working with seemed very nice and said he would put a suite on hold for me that was comparable. I went to pick up the suit, and the original sales person greeted me and help up the suit with my name on it and a paid tag attached. I tried it on with another sales person and it fit perfectly. Then after measuring me for alterations was told by second sales person that I needed to pay over $300.00 more because I was only entitled to the jacket. At that point I asked for a refund. I explained the situation to a person who seemed to be a manager that the second sales person grabbed and he said the same thing. He took the suit, and pulled off the vest and pants and handed me the jacket. The price for the pants and vest changed several times. What should have been a quick exchange and apology ended up ruining my day and shopping experience. I will not patronize that establishment again. Lost a good customer as I have spent thousands of dollars there in the past. read more

Guy was super aggressive, how are you a suit store but don't do suit sizes? " it has to been done by professional tailor " I mean YOU SELL SUITS! You should be able to measure. Really going to say " tell me your suit size I will get it from the back " like bro no wonder everything is on clearance because you can't sell anything. read more

My experience here was horrible. Came in looking for a suit - started at the clearance rack when the salesman urged that nothing there would fit me (even though I found a couple selections that did). He then led me to a more expensive area to have me try on a suit that felt okay. However, when I pointed out another one curious to see how it felt, he told me "if you buy it I'll let you try it on." Taken aback, I didn't really know what to say as I didn't want to feel the need to purchase an item that I wasn't sure would look good on me. He then repeated it a few more times until I decided I'd take my business elsewhere. As I was leaving, I could hear him talking to another worker ridiculing me on how many times he had to repeat that phrase to me. I would of definitely bought a suit in that price range if the owner wasn't so pushy and toxic to get me to purchase quickly in an empty store. Note that everything there has a final sale policy so why would I buy something without being sure? I wish I could give this place zero stars and suggest everyone to not waste your time here for business! read more

I like the look of the suit I got but not that the salesman lied about it. I needed a suit for interviews and he said it was Italian made and wool. It wasn't, it's Chinese made and 85% polyester. And they don't offer returns. The suspenders also seem ridiculously small for a big guy. It's a cheap suit. And that's what I bought for $220. I got a couple shirts too. When things seem a bit too good to be true, be careful, lies may be a foot. Tempted to return the suspenders and ask for another shirt. As a big guy it's hard to find stuff that fits. read more

Place is horrible. Do not spend your money there. Go across the street and spend it at Menswear house instead. There is no refund and if you have a wedding! FORGET IT! You will never get it In time. trust me I know because me and my groomsmen had to buy another pair of suits across the street at menswear house for my wedding. The employees there have no clue about any order. If you need answers you'll have to speak to the owner who is never there. If you call the store no one picks up! This establishment needs to be closed. The CT department of revenue services need to do an Audit on them and also the CT department of Labor. Bear with me here... Not a good experience at all. Had purchased 3 suits, one wasn't in stock so i was sent on my way with 2. So i was told to come back in 2 or 3 days that the 3rd suit would be delivered b then. So i go back 4 day later, they didnt ave my suit. Im 30 mins away from the mall so that blew an hour of my time & money. I ended up going back a 3rd time a few days later and picked up the 3rd suit. A few days later i went to put on one of the first 2 suits and come to find out it wasnt my suit! It was another customers who was significantly larger than me. So i had to go back to the store where it was supposed to be a quick swap out... Well i forgot to bring the other suit bc i was leaving town etc. Man... they held me there forever talking about I have to bring the other suit first etc etc. Mind you NOONE called me regarding this in a week!! So clearly it wasnt that important. I ended up being held up 45 mins over this , the manager wasnt there so whoever was helping me was playing games w me. So i ended up having to threaten to return the suits and then finally they brought out my suit and were trying to make me feel guilty about not bringing the other suit w me, it wasnt ill then that it was such high priority to them. I told the guy this is all your guys fault to begin with! Since then i have noticed how CHEAP these suits are and yes you get what you pay for which is a cheap suit. The threads for the buttons are unraveling themselves and i havent worn any of these more than 5 times as i have 6 suits total now. Also the 3rd suit i was waiting for all that time, the pants are easily 2 sizes smaller than the others and the suits are all the same brand & size! How is that ?!? Im not the type to ask for discounts or whatever but after all this no one has offered any sort of compensation for my troubles and i have waited a good amount of time to post a review so as to be honest & fair bc i myself am a business owner too and i know there are unruly customers who can post poor reviews in haste- which i have avoided doing. I do not recommend anyone going here and have told ppl to stay away. Ill be sticking w mens wearhouse as they have GREAT quality suits and somewhat good service. read more
