I did not have a good experience with Classic Floor Care. The cleaning, sealing, and color enhancement work they performed significantly scratched my natural stone tile and the technicians broke a piece of my spa siding and did not mention anything about it. To make matters worse, I had to follow-up with the company office and rep, Darren, multiple times and literally twist their arm just to follow-up with me and they still didn't do anything to make it right! They did not want to accept any liability and said the scratches were already there which is a flat out lie. Now I'm stuck with scratched tile floors and a broken piece of spa siding that I have to fix because of their sloppy work, unethical business practices, and poor customer service. If I could give 0 Stars, I would. While preparing my house to be placed on the market, I received multiple quotes to have stone flooring cleaned and shower refinished. I was well aware that the shower was a make it look the best you can, but not perfect situation. I decided to use classic Restoration because of their expertise in stonework not just floor cleaning. That was a massive mistake. On the day of service, my husband was at the house and the crew arrived not actually knowing what needed to be done. Somehow there was a lack of communication between Darren (Sales/owner) and the actual crew. I frantically tried calling Darren with no answer. As I finally reached the office and was ready to send the crew home, my husband called to let me know he talked to the crew and assured me they understood the scope of the work. My second mistake. After the crew had left for the day, not only did the house not look better, it actually looked worse. The shower was not restored at all, nor was it cleaned, they just slapped a color enhancing sealant on top. However in doing so, they sealed in any dirt from the lack of prep, and only sealed parts of the shower leaving visible lines where the seal was placed. The floors throughout the house were just as bad. There was a dusty gritty feeling on the entire floor that we discovered was metal pieces from what looked like a Brillo pad sander. There were burn Marks in the tile. In their aggressive technique they managed to knock out lots of filling and grout, and to top it off the grout was still actually dirty. This service was Done on Friday, and our home was set to be staged at noon on Monday. I was panicked. I immediatly began calling Darren, again with no answer. I left several messages Friday night and all day Saturday with no return calls. I finally reached out to one of the other companies that originally gave me a quote, and thankfully they were able to rearrange their schedule to fit me in first thing Monday morning, and save me. It was not until mid Monday morning that Darren finally returned my call. I sent him all the photos and videos of what was done to my home. He did offer to send someone out to fix the floors and shower, but by then it was too late. I assumed this was the end of my nightmare with this company. My floors were fixed by someone else and we both moved on. NOPE.... Third mistake. This company is now hounding me for payment for their work, even though I had to pay someone else to actually do the work, and extra to fix what they ruined. And, every time I call and ask to speak to someone, they always assure me they will call back, but don't. However they have no problem reaching out for payment from me. If you managed to make it this far in the review, I urge you at all costs to avoid using this company, unless you want subpar work, lack of communication, and harassment for payment on an incomplete job! read more

Our new home has original hardwood floors that were in decent condition, although with some water damage stains and pet scratches left by the previous owner. A couple of inquiries through Yelp connected me with Classic Floor Care. Not only was their initial response quick, but they were able to prompt schedule a walk through the next day so that Darren can come out, look at the scope of the work and provide us with an estimate. Right off the bat, his honesty and recommendations won us over. We needed our hardwood floors to be sanded down, resealed/repolished in the living rooms and hallway. One of the bedroom has damaged laminate planks and Darren explained the different scenarios on how they can fix it etc (as with any damages, you don't know the scope until it's pulled up and examined). Their pricing was very reasonable, and the professionalism of everyone in the office also won us over. The job was able to be scheduled pretty quickly. Even when there was a delay with another job that pushed back our start time, this company was very communicative with follow ups and updates and it gives you peace of mind that they really do care about their clients' satisfaction. Casey came out and did a great job with removing and replacing the laminate with the spare planks we had in the garage in no time. Another 'top reviewed' company on Yelp had the audacity to tell us the planks we had were nowhere near enough and that we'd have to replace the whole room with all new laminate flooring. THIS - everyone - is the prime example of why honest businesses like Classic Floor Care is important!! Darren stopped by to follow up personally as well to make sure all was satisfactory. We'll definitely go with them again for any future jobs. We asked them to give us a quote to clean a new wooden floor. Darren came the same day and the office (Erin) contacted us and we negotiated a fair price. The next day Cody cake and did a great job on the floors. Then they took 2 rugs away for cleaning and after a few days they were returned by Rolando and very well cleaned. The team we're all polite, professional and very respectful of the COVID situation. Overall very happy with the service. My tile floor had sucked up so much dirt and even with a steam mop and all types of products, I could not get the white tile to look clean. I went with the first company that popped up on my yelp search and am glad I did! I am SO happy with how it turned out. My tile looks brand new! I did a clean and seal treatment, so the floor will be easier to clean now. It took about an hour, and then we had to stay off for another two. Super quick! AWFUL experience just trying to get a quote. I used the website emblazoned on on their trucks(cleanaspot.com), and used the "Get a Quote" tab, which clearly had pricing listed with a big explanation that there would be no hidden fees. My teen, who had obligated himself to cleaning our couch was ecstatic because it clearly listed a couch as costing $95. I called in, got Erin, and was, immediately quoted $165! I was in SHOCK. Literally dumbstruck... I mentioned that the web site read just $95. "Oh! My mistake. Yes, it's $100 [NOT $95 - another $5 on top], but there's a minimum charge of $125" I explained that NOWHERE on the quote page was there any mention of minimum charges and that it SPECIFICALLY said that there were no hidden fees. She stuck to $125. I explained that I worked from home with flexible availability and was near there shop, so maybe they could fit me in..? "Sure! I pass the message on to Darren!" A week later, and no call..? So I called back. Told Erin that I was upset. THAT's when it was explained to me that *I* had gone to the "wrong" (former) website, and that the new one had the proper information - how is THAT MY fault..? It's what's printed on every truck and THEIR IT person failed to link the sites... I asked for Darren to call me back. This is a local business to me, and, as a former Customer Service Manager, I FULLY understand how one simple little problem multiplies itself, and just how quickly it does so. Three days, later, and no call. So I called back, told Erin there was no need to call me, though I've allowed Darren two weeks to be concerned about his local image. I would use Darren, owner of Classic Floor Care, again. He did a great job on a really difficult job. He did what was necessary until both he and I were satisfied with the result. I'm the trustee for my deceased parents' 2,700 sqft. home built in 1938 that I am getting ready to sell. It has 83 year old original hardwood floors, stairs and exterior ornamented doors. Although my folks had refinished some of the floors earlier, some previously refinished areas were dried out, scratched or gouged. Also the stairs, upstairs hallway and huge master bedroom had always been covered with carpet. Under the carpet, the stair treads had large nail holes and the risers had original very thin wood that should have been replaced. In fact, the stairs probably should have been torn out and rebuilt in order to get them up to the same standard as the rest of the floors. But to save money we decided to only refinish the master bedroom, upstairs hallway and the stairs. We decided to "screen" and buff the rest of the floors while also dealing with their problem areas. The front door and its two sidelight panels, which all have intricate molding accents, and which all had a lot of weathering, also look good. The wood floors everywhere look great. The stair treads even look good (considering everything). read more

Just wow. So my house hasn't had the carpets cleaned in over a year. Darren came to check out the carpets to give me a quote. I mentioned a few stains and showed him the high traffic areas. This carpet is far from perfect and is the worst color so it gets dirty rather quickly. I told him that he didn't have to make it look perfect and that we were hoping to get some of the dirt up. He must have taken that as a challenge because our house (aside from bleach stains) looks like we just put in new carpet! They pretreated and scrubbed the dirtiest areas and worked hard to clean the whole house. And it looks amazing! Darren is the man! Highly, highly recommend and will definitely use again! read more

As a family, we've been at our house since 1985 (moved in when I was a toddler, don't guess my age lol) and have never had our tile professionally cleaned. I found classic floor care on yelp and I'm so glad I did. The young man that came was so professional, worked incredibly hard and made our tile look like we're prepping to sell (we aren't lol). I found out they also refurbish hard wood and we have a room with very distressed (not in a trendy way), hard wood. A gentleman is coming out next week to give me a quote, but I already know I will be using them again. Uneven sanding. Broken vase. Ruined hand towel in guest bathroom. These guys took two days to sand less then 300-400 square feet and left dust everywhere. Ruined base board. I was told that I would be charged service fees if paid by cc so I paid cash. Don't ever pay cash for construction work you will never have the right to dispute bad work. The owner apparently has experience but let his son (no experience) do all the work. Who did I hire? The lack of sanding in the kitchen makes it look like a water/oil stain underneath kitchen cabinets. I was told by the owner in 2-3 months they would come to burnish the floor. I thought this was to make up for the bad work. To my surprise I was expected to pay for this service when I called to schedule. Great gig! deliver below average work and expect people to keep paying to fix it. I'm sorry but they saw me coming and under delivered. I filed a complaint with the BBB and of course no response.
