I work for a termite and pest control company and we had accidentally broken a tile at a job site, I asked a co-worker where to go, prior to this the other roofing supply co's were absurdly out the repair men's way, I saw this business, decided to swing by with my men and grab the tile, they took a look, matched up the tile perfectly (both color and style) and told me to take it for free. Went there on the recommendation of a worker at my house. Needed about 10 clay tiles. Kind of a strange out of the way location but once you locate it you will find that they are so courteous and helpful. They went way out of there way to match the piece that I brought. The sales employee - don't know his name - Saw my tile sample and knew exactly what I was looking for. He helped me load it up and I was in and out in less than 10min. Chris Themins at Classic roof tile was very helpful in finding the exact replacement tiles I needed for a house built in 1978. He also gave me a very good price. On my way home, I hit a little turbulence (going too fast on a bumpy road). While unloading the tiles at home, to my chagrin, I had a number of broken tiles. Excellent experience today! Had some guys installing some solar panels and they found a few broken tiles (no fault of their own). They said they'd replace them if I had them. I just on Google and found Classic Roof Tile. I ended up talking to Mike and he asked me to send him a couple of pics to confirm he had what I was looking for so I didn't waste a trip. Pictures weren't great that I sent but he was confident he could match the style if not the color. I drove up there from Murrieta and within a half hour I was on my way back with 25 new tiles. I needed 30 bundles of discontinued roof tile to repair my house. To my good luck, Classic was able to provide the tile and ridge tile when no one else stocked it. Chris promptly shipped the tile here to Santa Barbara. Unfortunately, the shipping company lost the tile - all 4,000# of it! I was in a real bind, but Dan, the owner, found enough tile to refill my order and trucked it to Santa Barbara, overnight. Everyone at Classic did everything possible to make repairs possible. Ok first of all this pkace is one the tackiest place ever. I called them looking for a specific tile, they said they had it, drove over 40 miles for nothing. They didnt have what I needed. I got rhere at 7am and it was closed, when the manager finally got there and informed me that he didnt have it he didnt even apoligize. Im reading the reviews and noticed that this Richie T. Is actually one the guys that work there. So they use there own staff to write a review? Please, they're a rip off, completely unprofessional, location is literally in a dirt hole, and completely unorganized. The owner that appeared seemed edgy or on drugs and the inside smelled like pot Not the kind of place a homeowner should consider going to if there rying to take care of their home. read more
