When looking for a good pizza in the bay view neighborhood.... Look no further!! Classic slice has delicious pizza by the slice. They have a rotating slice of the week that is always a great combination of flavor. Service is quick and friendly. And the vibe inside is super cool. Arcade games, and good music fill the space and make for a top tier pizza experience!

Large portion of calzone. Freshly made and extremely hot. The staff us very helpful and friendly. The space is pretty quiet for early lunch on a weekend!

I was in the mood for pizza and I have been here before, but eons ago, so I pulled up. Ordered the lunch special with sausage and pepperoni. That is my barometer for pizza reviews. Cheese only is for toddlers. It came out piping hot, fresh and smelled delicious. I was eating in the truck, and the box was durable and kept me almost perfectly clean, but was cumbersome around the steering wheel. The crust is crispy with a nice char. The sausage is flavorful, spiced up well and a nice texture. Pepperoni had a good zip and was spicier. The sauce had a fresher tomato taste, and not simmered down to a pulp. the price was around $10ish and all the workers were friendly and welcoming. I didn't eat inside, but it is casual and cafeteria like seating. A slam dunk winner for a good lunch spot pick up, but I do recommend eating it at a table. Not all of you are expert car eaters as myself, and I still managed a speck of sauce on my shirt. What I do for you people, let me tell ya!! :)

Classic Slice Pizza - Bayview is truly a classic. You will love their pizza, they have a perfect size slice, and a pretty trendy and cool vibe.

my receipt showing the two $9 slices of pizza and the $18 side of meatballs

The pizza is fine? But this whole place is wildly overpriced. Two slices of pizza and a side order of three meatballs is $35 and takes 40 minutes... to just heat up. (I ordered at 4:0 PM, for context, would hate to think how long it would have been if it was busy.) Would not recommend this place unless you're desperate or rich.

Call in a to-go order and order was ready perfectly at the time I asked. That was convenient as I was somewhat in a time crunch - so I was super happy. The food was overall decent. The pizza itself had good flavor - we had the Skippey Ahoy. I added carmalized onions and it made it super tasty. We also ordered a Caesar salad - which was really good, but the dressing seemed off. It was very citrusy. The breadsticks were pretty ehhh I don't think I'd order them again. They were basically pizza dough with a garlic butter, but they were pretty dry and boring - we honestly didn't eat them - which was a bummer. I like Classic Slice, but I think they could improve the breadsticks because who doesn't love a good breadstick!!

My fiancée and I were hungry and decided to try a new spot. Living in Berkeley and the Bay Area for a long time, this place felt like home. It was retro--the menu, the font on the menu, the cashier even looked like he was the Silent Bob from Clerks. Such a cool place! Now we can get into the pizza. I had a slice of the pepperoni cut into a triangle and the crust was crunchy, thin--but NOT soggy and it was pipping hot! The fiancée had their slice of the week, the Sicilian slice and she ate every last bite. Her crust was a little crunchier--too hard to cut with a knife but she said this is her new fave pizza spot. They also have Dang soda here and give a student discount on slices if you want to come and try it. I'll be back--my taste buds will thank me...my waist size, not so much! Hahaha!

Fave spot to get a slice of pizza, not only is the Giorgio Moroder pizza my current favorite but I love the seating area that's on the side of the building its always nice during the summer!

Great pizza for vegans and vegetarians! This local Milwaukee neighborhood spot is a great place to grab a slice or a whole pizza. We stopped in and I was thrilled to see the vegan toppings offered which included soy cheese, vegan Italian sausage crumble and a huge vegetable selection! The restaurant is casual, offers wooden long tables, 4 top tables and window bar stool seating. The prices were reasonable and the pizza was thin and crispy and served hot. I would recommend Classic pizza for a quick lunch, dinner or to take a pie home for friends and family. They also serve salads which looked tasty. Street parking is available just outside of the restaurant.

Tried classic slice for the first time and it was pretty good! It was a great thin crust slice and they had plenty of options to choose from. I got my slice to go however they did have seating inside for dining in. While the pizza was good, it didn't have as much flavor as I would hope for. Additionally, it was a little expensive as this slice came in $9 for one slice. The slice was pretty big though. Not a top pizza place for me in Milwaukee but would recommend trying this place out!

The pizza was phenomenal, some of the best in Milwaukee. Incredible hand pinched sausage, to die for pesto topping, and a great crust that while thin, holds form to eat.

Hands down, best pizza in Milwaukee! Made fresh to order, with obvious love, don't skip this spot! Their garlic knots are so good it's almost sinful. From the hot handmade slices with all the toppings you could imagine, to the freshest burrata salad, nothing on this menu should be off limits. Great stop after any night out in Bay View. And the servers are always happy to see you. We'll be regulars for life at this one.

It's a fun space and felt very welcoming. The chilaquiles were fantastic! They make their own hot sauce in house that was a good addition to the dish, along with chorizo. Highly recommend this one. It was also a huge portion and ended up feeding me for two meals. Make sure you get here early to avoid the extremely long lines; we planned to be there right when it opened and by the time we left, there were already people having to wait outside. We reviewed the menu while we waiting for seating, which took far longer than we wanted, more than 30 minutes standing in the cramped lobby area with a bunch of other people. Hats off to their host for being friendly and even a little entertaining and I like that you can order coffee at the register area and drink it while you wait. Too bad you can't get a cocktail out there. The menu sounded great and we were ravenous so we were excited to order. By the time we were seated we were limited to about 40 minutes to get to a ticketed event, all in. I told that to our waitress so she could pace the meal accordingly. While I understand that she can't control the kitchen time, I don't think she showed any expediency or attention to my statement. Spoiler alert - we were late. Two of us ordered the biscuits to start with jam. I was happy to try them and they were good. My coffee based martini hit the spot, but it was spilled a little when it hit the table and our server didn't say anything or wipe it off. My mom liked her bloody Mary and it was decent. When our food came I was immediately disappointed by the appearance. My chilaquiles looked like they had sat under a heat lamp for ages - the egg was dried and over firm. My chips were spicy, but 100% soggy and nasty. My black beans were - meh. Not a good dish overall. My mom actually didn't find fault with her Honeypie Benedict. I tried the hollandaise and it was fine. My cousin did not enjoy her Hopple Popple skillet at all. (Potatoes, bacon, caramelized onion, mushroom, bell pepper, cheddar, two scrambled farm eggs) She found it difficult to find any egg, as it was apparently shrunk into tiny bits. The potatoes were like fries and it was overall bland. Not a winner. We certainly won't be back. The dishes don't live up to the interesting descriptions of them and the hype seems to be from an earlier, better time for this restaurant.

I arrived a little bit early, so decided to quiet the rumbling in my tummy by partaking of a gluten-free chocolate chip cookie. I don't need to eat gluten-free, but the cookie looked delicious, so I decided to give it a try. Am I glad I did! The cookie was wonderfully soft and chock full of mini chocolate chips. Unfortunately, like usual, I forgot to take a picture. What I did remember to take a picture of was the hoppel poppel. This German-Austrian dish was originally meant as a way to clear out one's pantry and refrigerator. Casera might not be cleaning out, but they ought to be cleaning up on this delectable menu item. Their version begins with the requisite potatoes and onions, but their meat selection, summer sausage, is not only very Wisconsin but very delicious. Cheese is also included, so since I'm not a huge cheese eater, I was pleased when the kitchen understood my request for a very light hand with it. The kitchen also understands how to make dry-scrambled eggs. I can't stop thinking about this dish and wondering when next I'll be able to enjoy it. I also ordered their black iced tea, which was strongly brewed (my personal preference over the pale stuff that too many places serve) and very refreshing. My brunch companion ordered the raspberry scone, and I was lucky enough to enjoy a bite. The scone was perfect--fluffy, wonderfully moist, and drizzled with just enough sweet icing. She also tried the special drink, which was a cherry cola coffee. This was not something she enjoyed. Unfortunately, she also struck out to a small degree on the Chilaquiles, which were, unfortunately, served with incredibly soggy tostada chips.

The steak dinners were pretty good. My steak was more medium-well than medium-rare, but still good. And the mashed potatoes and veg were really good. I'd go back for the food, but we were just not cared for by our server. She didn't bring plates for our appetizers and didn't check back so we were just eating over the table for quite a while. We also got the wrong wing sauce and needed to have one of our orders of wings replaced which our server seemed slightly annoyed about. Then after our appetizer plates were cleared one of our group accidentally handed in his silverware. After we got our dinner, the server also didn't check back for a while so our friend was left unable to eat his food for quite a while. Lastly, we all would have ordered more drinks and dessert but the server never asked us if we wanted anything else.
