We stayed in Franklin for one night and needed a takeaway dinner after driving all day. One of us wanted pizza, one a sandwich; this fit the bill. The turkey sub was literally the best takeaway sandwich I've had in eons. Super delicious bread, freshly sliced real turkey breast, cold veg, mayo and a vinegar dressing. A 6 inch sub was enough for my dinner with half put away for a savory breakfast in the motel! We are on the band wagon for ham and rolls on Sundays. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. We are greeted as regulars. We always take our orders to go. A small seating area is thoughtful set at the back of the store in case you want to eat in. We also like their pizzas. Our favorite is a SMO or pepperoni & green olives. You can't go wrong. I ordered a large pizza from Crossroads 11. The pizza was cold and hard to chew. I called to report this the person who answered put me on hold and then hung up. I asked to speak to a Supervisor who was very rude he said there was nothing he could do. He also hung up 3 times. He said to stop calling. I used to order pizzas from Crossroads 11 for many years until now. I wasn't asking for credit, I told him I was letting know about the pizza. So that they would. Food is inconsistent - sometimes it's excellent (4 star), sometimes it's could be better (2 star) so I'll go with middle of the road and call them A-OK! Located in the way-out on a odd bar heavy strip of road. There's plenty of parking. Walking in the space is large, they have and sell beer too. Cash only if you did not pick up on that. The staff and customers were all wearing face coverings and being responsible during the pandemic. Sticking to when it's good. The crust is nice and yeasty It may be doughy too, but has a good crunchy outside and chewy texture inside. Some excellent crust when done right. The sauce is flavorful with good tomato and herbs added to round it out. The Meat Lovers with cheese, sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, and American bacon is generously covered with toppings and, as you might imagine heavily meat flavored. I love taco pizza, but I cannot recommend this version. With a bland taco meat, olives, chunks of tomatoes, lots of iceberg and chips this just doesn't get there flavor wise. The crust in this case overwhelmed the contents and the lettuce, for us, was wilt and brown. Overall, as long as your willing to take the bet on something being mediocre instead of good, it's worth a try. read more

I have been eyeing this place for a while because it's got Subs and it's not a chain, sometimes these places have a good sub but no pictures of the Sub so a Steve stop by was happening today. The place is a nice local pizza place that has hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, apps etc. The place has a few tables for eat in and has pizza by the slice Mon-Fri approximately from 10-1. There is a soda cooler, beer cooler and a take and bake pizza cooler and a rack of chips. I had the 6" cold Italian sub which is provolone cheese, ham, salami, pepperoni, lettuce, onion, tomato with mayo for $4.89. The sub was a nice size and not small or skimpy in any way and you could see a good quality bread is used. The French bread was super fresh with that chewy crust/skin that I like with a creamy flavor. The Italian Sub was pretty good with all the fresh ingredients and tasty in a different way from other Italian Subs because of the fresh pepperoni which totally changed the flavor of the sandwich, this works so well. Overall this Italian Sub was very good considering it was under $5 for what they give you, now I'm kicking my self for not getting a take and bake pizza because I was going to have pizza later and changed my mind. I'm definitely going to get back there for a pizza or a Sub again, yah I'm a fan. read more

I love this place! It helps that it's very close to me so I don't need to drive far to pick up my order. I prefer the thin crust unless you plan to get a lot of toppings. Sometimes it can end up a little on the limp side towards the middle. It still tastes great, but isn't what I'm after. Most of the time I just order a large deluxe so that there are plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. Sides are good, but I'm not a huge fan of their garlic bread. I'd suggest getting the bread sticks with marinara! They sell some alcohol and soda if you need it. I've had their subs - they're huge. I agree with some other comments that it's a lot of bread compared to filling, but that's not always the case. Unfortunately it's hit or miss. Also, they DO NOT take credit cards. Cash or check only. There is an ATM on site but you could get a fee charged depending on the machine or your agreement with your bank. read more

Well it's been a year and have had acouple of good pizzas but this last one not so good.I don't know what to think this last one was over loaded with mushrooms a the sausage was terrible not like they used to serve, I wish they would stop screwing around with the ingredients. Took me almost 20 years to write a review. Only cause I don't write reviews. In all those years I've only tried maybe 8 other Pizza Joints and haven't had better then Crossroads. I'm old School Southside of Milwaukee and I remember the best. And still Crossroads stayed true to the Milwaukee Thin Crust Pizza and managed to keep the quality consistent. But the reason for my review is the Subs. I guarantee you won't get a better Sub for the Money compared to any Chain Sandwich Shop in town. read more

Well, what can I say. The first thing is that the food is amazing! I work close by and we always order from there. The buffalo chicken pizza is my absolute favorite!! Secondly, the staff are so kind. The owner, I'm not sure his name but i wish I did, gave us our order for free at the beginning of the year because he knew it was a stressful time where we work!! This is more of a carryout place than a dine-in but they do have 2 tables. Business was brisk when i was there. Front of place has big window so you can see the guys working on pizza dough. Staff was friendly. They offer thin crust and a thicker house crust pizza (in addition to other food items). i ordered thin 'cuz i love thin crispy crust on pizza. It was crisp but not as thin as i like. Center of pizza was chewy and the cheese kept sliding off the dough which made me happy i was eating in the privacy of my home. Very Disappointed......had tried it during the St Martins Fair and it was great but a this last Friday nite for the first time we ordered it was bad...could not eat it $24.00... wasted...NO pizza yeast and the cheese was hard and waxy (shows it was poor quality cheese).... and asked for thin crust it was way over loaded also the pepperoni had NO taste. Was really looking forward to trying the pizza because of the mostly positive reviews but i feel like a sucker for believing them. I ordered a large veggie pizza and had it delivered to my house. The gentleman that handed me the pizza at the front door was very polite but i could tell right away something was wrong with the pizza because my hand almost when through the bottom of the cardboard box that also had a inner liner in it. The only part of the large pizza that you could actually pick up with your hand and eat was the few outside edge pieces that was still intact. The rest of the pizza was a soggy mess.This is not pizza this is stew in a box. Very disappointed because this cost almost $25.WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. read more

I couldn't be more happy with this restaurant, not only is the pizza good but they have great sandwiches. The footlong sandwich is a good bang for your buck. My favorite is the Italian and I would recommend trying it. They also have a Great drink selection, four big coolers filled with any drink you can think of, you don't see that much. On top of that they even have a packaged ice cream. The people working behind the counter are vary nice and seemed to enjoy what there where doing.
