The quality of the Hoka brand is top notch and Dicks is conveniently located in Lodi by Costco . I felt so fortunate to be helped by Lenna and Rebecca !!!! These two outstanding employees went above and beyond to make sure my shopping experience was enjoyable. Dicks did have a size 8 Hoka for my wife's birthday but I was also looking to purchase a size 8.5 for our daughter for her birthday, unfortunately this Dicks sporting goods store does not have a big selection of Hoka shoes for women, I'm surprised, but it was Leena to the rescue and we went online and ordered the perfect shoe for our daughter's birthday! Yea ! I'm going to be the greatest dad ever now! I must give props to Rebecca also because not knowing if Hokas women shoes are true to size I asked if Rebecca would try on the size 8 that I was buying for my wife!!! Now that's service! She did! We did the salsa a little bit and I bought them ! I purchased the Wilson NBA DRV Plus Official Basketball (Size: 7), which was priced at $25.97. Upon arrival, I utilized the curbside service and parked in stall #1. I checked in via email and was brought out the basketball in less than 5 minutes. I was highly impressed by the swift service. The quality of the basketball was spectacular. It was filled properly with the correct amount of air. It dribbled so nicely on the basketball court within my neighborhood. I highly recommend stopping by Dick's Sporting Goods, especially to use the curbside service when it's convenient.

Some employees are solid, but others either come off as overly cocky or seem to lack basic firearm knowledge. I'm not there for stories or to hear about someone's background, I just want a smooth, professional experience when buying a firearm. One experience that stood out was when I purchased a .22 LR AR-style rifle for plinking. The employee assisting me seemed unsure about basic handling. There were moments that didn't inspire confidence when it came to safely handling and operating the firearm. I also witnessed a similar situation involving another employee who didn't appear confident clearing a shotgun. Situations like that are concerning, especially in a setting where safety should be the top priority. I understand that people have to learn somewhere, and I respect that, but when it comes to working behind a gun counter, there should already be a strong foundation of knowledge and safety awareness. I was in line for ammo and he even asked, Oh you want ammo and I said yes. Went to wait two aisles down and he sees me waiting and he's finishing up with his customer. The customer left for a few mins and I thought he still is fishing up but nope. A new customer comes up for ammo and he helped him. I been waiting for him for a while finishing up with the first customer but for him to help another customer after that knowing that I was waiting for him, AH. I was so upset but then I see two staffs coming from the back and then one went to the aisle in front of me so I went around and asked in a rude way. This shop is not full of salesman trying to get you to buy the latest and the greatest, they are trying to get you to buy what you want what you're comfortable with what you need. Soon after I rode out on a beautifully rebuilt Pinarello road bike. All of his employees through the years have matched Brian's help and care. And now with this bike shop downtown, it is especially great during farmers markets. They have live music, a great assortment of beer, wine and coffee and even popcorn and avocado toast. Take care of Lodi Cyclery because they definitely takes care of us here in Lodi! ‍

I wanted to bring something to a casual birthday dinner on short notice so I ordered one online. Unfortunately for me, as I was doing that, I saw some deals on necessity and leisure items and decided to order six other things as well to see if it was time to change my mind about Walmart. Here is my experience: Before it was even time to pick up the bouquet, one of the items shipped and was delivered to my house. It was a little card game for the party and it was $4 cheaper than I had seen it online other places. They did not package it in a box or in any way actually, it looked like someone grabbed t off the shelf and drove it to my house. That might have been a good thing, except that it was raining hard that day and they left it on my grass. It did have some cellophane around it so it was still usable, but it was definitely not in good condition. We were not off to a good start. Then, when I went to get the bouquet just before the party, I picked up the three in store items. Their was a wait to get my things but it wasn't too long or difficult. As I was waiting, a woman told me that she always gets here groceries here because you can order online and then just pull up in your car and they wil bring it out to you. I made sure to let her know that most ethical and local grocery stores offer that option as well. My experience in the bakery was also easy with just a short wait and I will say that for the price I paid, the bouquet looked amazing. If I were rating this store on the cost of the bouquet for the way it looked they would get 5 stars no question. People at the party thought I had paid $100-$200 for it (we played guess the price) and all said it looked amazing. However, there were issues. The party person does not like chocolate so I ordered all white cupcakes but when we started eating it, I realized they had made a half and half with some white and some chocolate. I was upset at first but the white cake was SO dry that the slightly more moist chocolate actually tasted better even though it was not preferred. The frosting was super sweet and overpowering and also somehow dry at the same time. Therefore it became more of a thing to look at rather than eat because it just didn't taste good. We ended up throwing 7 of the cupcakes away at the end and I don't blame them at all. So to recap for anyone thinking of getting one: Looks and price 5/5, Flavor and quality 0/5. If you don't care a bout the taste and just need something that looks good, this is definitely a smart purchase for the price. After this experience, I look forward to the next 20 years of never shopping at Walmart again but I am glad I tried them out, especially because if I hadn't purchased the cupcake bouquet, I was going to get myself one of their heart cakes for my birthday and I would have been so disappointed had it been inedible. As for the other items I purchased, I did get a better price on them no doubt so I completely understand why people shop here but for now I will pay a few dollars extra to go to local merchants with better quality and customer service.

This review is specifically for their tire center…read more I had a flat tire, and decided to come here because Walmart is typically the lower price for just about any and everything that can be found here, and other stores. I took the flat tire off, and put on the spare. I came here and they asked me what tire I wanted, etc. I was told it would be about an hour, there were appointments ahead of me. They asked for my keys, and took my tire out of my car. I waited 2.5 (actually probably 3 hours cause I was watching Netflix on my phone to pass time). I asked how much longer. I was told they don't know cause they have to take care of all appointments first. This made no sense because 1) if you have "appointments", you know how many you have to take care of, cause those are already pre booked. 2) I was told an hour, even with appointments ahead of me. So I asked for my keys back, forgetting or not realizing they took my tire out of my car, which in hindsight is weird if they had to take care of appointments first. I drive an hour or so home. I go to another Walmart, and realize what happened. So I come back here, and I called first and was told "oh yeah, your tire is all set and ready to go". So I thought "ok cool, it's been changed". NOPE! I get there, and my tire is still deflated, and when I explained the earlier phone call, the person helping me LAUGHED and said "oh yeah I don't know why he said that" clearly missing the que to use empathy and see this wasn't funny to me. The tire center here makes no sense. They wasted my time twice. I'll never come back and recommend you seek tire changes elsewhere, even if that means driving to a totally different Walmart.
