WoW! What TOP-NOTCH HOSPITALITY over at Classic Tattoo. I got tattooed by special guest Eric Dressen. He introduced me to Charles Chatov. Even run into a good friend of mine Bucky Crispin. Eric walked me around & showed me a lot of of the shops history! These guys are the REAL deal. If you are on the fence and not sure, stop by CLASSIC TATTOO in downtown FULLERTON! John did it again. I came to him for a cover up a couple of years ago and loved his work. He is amazing! I text him a couple weeks ago about another tattoo I wanted and sent an inspiration photo. His attention to detail and creativity was sooo much better than I could have imagined. On top of that, he is the absolute nicest guy ever. I won't ever go to anyone else. Thank you John. I absolute love my tattoo and my time with you was awesome.
Very stoked on my tattoo by Charles Chatov. The whole experience from start to finish was very smooth and professional. We communicated via email until Charles had a clear understanding of what I was looking for. I trusted his expertise, and I'm extremely happy with the design he created. It incorporates elements that symbolize my dog while staying true to the traditional Japanese foo dog aesthetic. The final piece exceeded my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Charles. I've had 2 tattoos done here by John, guy is so freakin chill and a great artist. The shop is clean and the artists are friendly. The shop has a cool old school vibe, would definitely recommend. Picture is my tattoo completed last Thursday. I've been wanting a pirate ship tattoo as long as I can remember, super stoked how it came out.
I recently got my nose piercing done here and had such a great experience. I was honestly a little nervous going in, but the piercer named seleina made me feel so comfortable from the start. She was very gentle,patient, and explained everything clearly before beginning. The process was quick,clean and way less painful than I expected. Definitely recommend!
They were super helpful when I first called and when my sister and I showed up for the appointment they were quick to help us and get the idea of what we wanted. The shop was clean and I felt very comfortable being there. We both got seen within a few mins and the guys who took care of us were nice and polite. It was my sisters first tattoo and she was so happy with how it turned out.

I could not recommend Classic Tattoo enough. I had come in to make an appointment to get my very first tattoo, and they were able to bring me in right then and there. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they made any anxieties I had about getting a tattoo completely vanish. I showed them that I wanted a tattoo of the quote "Keep Moving Forward" in my mom's handwriting. They explained to me the healing process, and how the wording may look over time. They made suggestions and improvements that would help with the lifelong look of the tattoo, while also still staying as true as possible to how my mom writes her letters. Bryan Black was my artist, and he did everything to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. He was incredibly kind and made the whole experience quick and painless! I adore how my tattoo came out, I couldn't be happier with it. I adored every second I spent at Classic Tattoo, and I'd recommend them to absolutely anyone! read more

First off I want to start that while this tattoo was thought out in what I wanted, the fact that I spontaneously decided to get it done while on vacation close to 400 miles from home was not. I used Yelp and this shop was the first that popped up and thank God it did. My wife and I walked in about 30 min before they closed just to ask question and Josh couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. He definitely made me feel comfortable and not at all dumb for what seemed like basic questions I was asking. I kept asking for what he thought I should do and he kept putting it back on me saying that this tattoo is mine and so while they will help me get to where I want to go, they won't make the decision. So we made a plan for me to come in the next day at opening to see if there was anyway that he could fit me in on a packed schedule. So we showed up as planned and he said that he had an artist that was willing to help me but that it would be later in the day and if I could be patient they would love to help. They would call me when they knew more accurately when they could fit me in. I came back when they called and I was introduced to my artist, Isaac, and I couldn't be more pleased that I was paired with him. He could tell I was nervous and had no problem with the fact that my go to defense mechanism for nerves was constant babble. He let me bore him with the story of why I got what I did and the miniscule details of my everyday life. He was professional and friendly. He made it feel as if I had been coming to that shop for years. Please reader if you are either a neophyte or an learned traveler of the inked arts this is the shop you want to come to. read more

It's been forever since I got my first two tattoos so I was a bit nervous of getting this third one. I actually didn't want any tattoos on my arms cause they would be too obvious. But I had to get one to cover a burn mark on my wrist so I had no choice. And I wouldn't need it if my skin was darker. I was glad that I had a great experience at Classic Tattoo shop and everything went so smoothly. We went in on a Saturday afternoon but none of the tattoo artists were available at the moment. So we made an appointment for the next day and put in some deposit too. I showed them the flower I wanted and emailed them so they could have the drawing ready for my appointment. My tattoo artist Javier did an amazing job and my pink flower looks very bright and pretty on my fair skin. I absolutely love my fresh new ink! I followed the aftercare instructions carefully and my newly tattooed skin is healing up quite nicely at the moment! Everybody here was so nice from beginning to the end. I have nothing but great things to say about Classic Tattoo and the artist there. Every time I've been in for a tattoo everyone is extremely nice and welcoming. This is one of the first shops I went to back in the early 2000's. I went back this week to get my son's name tattooed for a 40th birthday gift. I chose Jose Araujo after following him for a while on Insta. He does a great chrome style script that I am stoked to now have on my leg permanently. Great tattoos are so much more than the creation and application of art. It is the conversation and the sharing of time, creating the experience. My visit to Classic Tattoo, specifically to Bryan Black, was exactly that- an experience that I am truly grateful for and will never forget. Woke up today and decided to get a tattoo--isn't that the most fun anyways?! Came to Classic Tattoo since I've had work done here before and had an awesome experience. We were walk-ins and they took us right away. Javier was my artist and he was rad. Super nice, professional, and made the whole process a breeze! This is our second time back for my boyfriend and I and we love getting our tattoos done here! On this visit we saw Issac and my boyfriend and I love the tattoo he did! Issac really took his time and made sure my boyfriend was comfortable and always checking to see if he's okay. The atmosphere in the shop is great as well. It's very welcoming and you can see the people that work there are like a family it's really cool how other artist were checking the tattoo out as well and bouncing ideas and tips off of one another. The boyfriend & I were finally ready to get our 1st tattoos. I searched many shops and called and spoke to several based off reviews. This shop answered the phone every time I called, was patient when speaking to me and answering all my questions. We were lucky to get Bucky Crispin as our artist for both our tattoos, his professionalism and work was excellent!!! He made each of us feel comfortable and took time to draw out and discuss with us our tattoos before starting. My boyfriends turned out really good then it was my turn. I picked the painful area of my foot for mine but Bucky made me comfortable and did a excellent job without killing me. I am 100% pleased with the quality and the healing process has been very good. I called the shop looking for an artist for two different tattoos. I was assisted by Mari(sp) and she was a doll. She was patient and helpful and really tried to fit me with the best artists for my needs. I had my first appointment with Bucky and he nailed it. He was extremely professional, great to chat with, the tattoo was done faster than I thought it would be, and it is gorgeous. The overall vibe of the shop is very laid back and welcoming.
