When I first started my search for my next leased vehicle, I of course went to the same dealership that I leased my first one thru. I was getting a run around and then was quoted one monthly price and not even 15 minutes later was told a payment of $15. That was when I started my internet search. The search reached out to several Toyota dealerships. My requirement was that I receive specific info via email only. I didn't want to be bothered by phone calls. I received emails from several dealerships but ONLY 1 dealership gave me the info I was searching for. Philip McGrath from the internet sales team gave me the Price of monthly payment, a couple different lease terms and what payment would be if I put $0, $1500 or $2,000 down. I had a million questions I threw Phil's way and he was always very quick to respond. The other dealerships just wanted me to stop in or wanted to call or just send me a link to their website. I could have taken my business with the emailed info I recieved and probably have gotten the same deal near me, but I already felt quite comfortable with Phil and was thrilled that he had made my life so much easier. We drove over 40 minutes to Classic Toyota because of the great customer service Phil provided. When we arrived, Phil came to greet us and introduced us to Brandon Vaughan, Sales and Leasing Consultant. He was gracious and patient with us as we first drove the vehicle that we initially came to see but them of course one in the showroom caught the attention of my husband. So they brought that one out and we test drove that one. After my husband and I were done going back and forth about EVERYTHING, we decided on the vehicle. Brandon was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, he took the time to make sure I knew what everything did and that I was comfortable with working everything. After he was done, he went inside to get the vehicle checklist and came out with a soft cloth to wipe the fingerprints that were made by both him and I while setting things up. Although I was driving a sweet, sweet, eleven year old sedan with over 240,000 miles and a dent for every 100 of those miles, I had started to stray! That's right! I was looking at other cars! One Sunday my husband and I had taken our toddler out for some yogurt, and we decided to stop by the dealership to look around. Now we only decided to do this because we were in our nicest sweat pants holding styrofoam cups (and we thought it would be closed). Imagine our surprise when we pull up to a full brigade of salesmen. I fully expected the person who came up to us to treat us like he lost a bet, but we were very lucky, and it was CHRIS McCARTHY! He was so kind to us and took so much time answering all of our questions. But with a toddler, it is tough to accomplish anything that doesn't involve legos. So I pulled the "we are just going to drop her off, but I promise, we will be right back." He was totally cordial, understanding, and there was absolutely no pressure. When I went back to negotiate, I was ready for the battle to begin. I had already decided what I was going to pay, and I had done the math based on my desired financing and knew exactly what I wanted to pay per month. I told Chris this and he just made it happen! Sure there was some beck and forth, but his attitude was "how can we make this happen." It was a completely different experience then I expected. Sept 28th 2013. Purchased my Toyota Rav 4 Limited from Mentor, Ohio's Classic Toyota and , what a pleasant experience it was for my husband & myself. Brianna Skrtic greeted us with a warm smile and showed us around a week prior to our purchase; we were in the beginning stages of looking into certain model vehicles; she was quick, polite and very efficient. My wife and I recently traveled from Indianapolis for a 2012 Toyota Tundra that we found online. The used cars sales staff was fantastic. Today I purchased my 4th vehicle from Classic Toyota, trading in a 2012 Camary SE with over 91,000 miles. True to form and, in the normal manner they conduct their business, Classic Toyota hit one out of the park! Our Sales Representative was Brianna Skrtic (excellent customer service, patient and extremely knowledgeable). I was interested in buying a 2015 Camary SE, but was a bit hesitant because I love the 2012 I currently have. Throughout the entire process from the test drive to me driving it off of the lot was stress free, and genuinely enjoyable. The Camary that I wanted was not available at the dealership (color). What distinguishes Classic Toyota from other dealers is being part of the Classic Auto Group, which includes a large number of auto makers. Other dealerships carried one or a few auto labels. Sales staff at dealerships we visited knew one brand and pushed a single brand. The Classic Group carried each of the brands that were interested in. We wanted a hybrid car that had all of the contemporary safety features. We were interested in several different models. At the Classic Group we were able to test drive and compare multiple models. The car for us was a Toyota Avalon hybrid because it provided the best combination fuel economy, driving experience, easy entry and exit and safety features. Classic Toyota, as part of the Classic Auto Group, enabled us to directly compare multiple models and know that the dealers as part of the multi-dealer group were not directing us to a specific car. First time Toyota buyer and I was extremely happy with my experience with Classic Toyota. We started off by looking at the 4Runner with no intention of buying but just looking at all different SUVs and Anthony Brugh, new to car sales, was very understanding to this and gave us all the info I had requested. I've just purchased my 5th car from Classic Toyota going all the way back to a 1982 Celica! This one is a 2015 Camry SE and it's great. What is even better is the way that Classic runs this dealership. I have found their people to be courteous and efficient without being pushy. Personally, I prefer to negotiate with the internet sales team because I do not live near the dealership. They have been responsive to my requests and have dealt with me fairly. What more can you ask for? When it was time to pick up the car, the sales and service staff were great, too. This time I worked with Mike Brainerd and I highly recommend him. This was my first experience with a Toyota dealership, and my first Toyota purchase. The sales associate that helped me was very knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. The sales associate was not trying to push us to buy something like other dealerships that I visited in the past. The finance associate that helped us was also very friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Both associates were professional during our purchase, but were also very personable and made us feel welcome. We were at the dealership well after they closed for the day and the 2 associates mentioned above stuck around until the purchase was complete and all our questions had been answered. Bought a "Certified" Toyota Corolla with 30,400 miles from Classic. "Certified" means the car supposedly underwent a rigorous 161-point inspection up to Toyota standards. Well, 4 days after I drove the car off the lot the brakes made a horrible grinding noise. And after a day of heavy rain, there was a pool of water in the backseat from a faulty window seal. Took Classic a whole week to fix it. Got the car back, and after 2 days the brakes were grinding again. Mechanics ruined my backseat fixing the window seal. Not worth the headaches of going back to Classic...brought the car to an honest local mechanic who fixed the brakes right. Do not buy a car from ANY Classic dealership...you WILL regret it!!!!! read more
