Last year, I got two large bouquets for $60. This year, I was charged $50 for just one bouquet that was nearly identical and even had one fewer flower. As another reviewer said the guy in the front is very shady and 100% over chargers customers. Last year a nice young lady helped me and even gave me 5 dollars off 2 sets of flowers. I believe the guy in the front is the owner and he will 100% over charge you if he wants to. I regret buying flowers here this year. I went here the last 3 years and to be overcharged is disrespectful. I asked if he could add more greenery and keep the price cheap he got angry and he said " cheap no cheap here" mind you it was 50 dollars for 5 flowers. It was a super tiny bouquet. I stopped by in hopes of finding a lieu the day before my son's graduation and was lucky to find one in blue and completely happy with it! I had never been here before and thought they had a great selection of flowers. Fast forward to coming back a week later and ordered a bouquet of flowers in a vase to be picked up a few days later. I was specific with colors and flowers with a female employee and paid in advance. I came back on my scheduled pick up date and a few minutes later than expected. When I entered the shop I was informed by the female employee that she was putting my arrangement together and that a customer came in that morning and wanted my arrangement which was pre made and sold it. I was beyond disappointed that the staff would not make another arrangement for that customer and would sell the one I ordered and expected to pick up. I had to wait 10-15 minutes for her to make my new arrangement and I was completely dissatisfied with what she made. She included carnations which I dislike, added baby breaths, and I did not like what she made. Due to time strains and having already paid I was completely dissatisfied. I only returned to this shop due to my first experience but unfortunately would not return back due to lack of customer care and service. read more

My dad got flowers here for Valentine's Day on February 12 and by the 15, only 3 days later they looked terrible. Wilting and petals falling off. Only the white filler flowers still looked decent. We went back and brought the dying bouquet and the owner had excuses and had to fight for a fresh bouquet to make it worse he just changed out 2 or 3 stems. Definitely would not recommend. Terrible customer service and poor quality didn't find the value of the flowers to be worth it. read more

Ordered 15 days ahead of time. They said they'll do the arrangement for Valentine's Day and all I have to do is pick up. I come today. Turns out they couldn't do them. Seems flowers are out of season. Which is fine, I can understand that. What I can't understand is why they couldn't have called ahead of time or messaged me regarding my arrangement. Their excuse "too busy because of Valentine's Day ". Poor customer service. Shows they clearly do not care for their customers' time. Worst part is they offered absolutely no solutions other than my money back. It wasn't until I asked for a substitute flower. I don't even think they were able to get the other flowers in my original order. Why? Because they come back with the wrong color. Wasted my time. Left got my refund. I bought flowers here a few months ago to buy for my daughter and the selection is definitely a lot but the flowers are wilted. The value is good. I mean $5 but the flowers are wilted. I don't know why I would buy wilted flowers for $5. They could at least check before they sell these flowers each day for freshness. Then recently My parents bought some for my daughter too and the babies breath are pretty much gone already. It's awful. Please check your flowers. And don't sell them. I have been going here for years to grab a bouquet here and there, and they were always beautiful, and the staff is always friendly and helpful, so of course when I was in need of flowers for my mom and dad's memorial service, I came back. I went and priced what I was looking for at other flower shops on Lincoln and was quoted way higher, so I returned to Joshua's and placed my order which was 1 large pink spray arrangement for my mom and a blue arrangement for my dad. They delivered at no charge, and the flowers looked beautiful. They were the only ones to offer free delivery (Forest Lawn down the street). If you're creating a bouquet from scratch, they usually ask what your budget is and work from there, which is what I usually prefer . They do advertise a lot of their more vibrant flowers, but you can definitely do some cottage core, soft colored bouquets. read more

Been going to this flower shop for years since it's convenient but lately, perhaps due to COVID, who knows? Lately, I just can't ignore the overpricing and dishonesty in the way they do business. With Valentine's day coming up, they have signs posted on their windows "Pre-order by Feb 10 and get 50% off!" I tried and what was priced today at $50 was not going to be $25 because I was told, it's not based on today's price. It will be based on Valentine's Day price where the same EXACT arrangement would be $100. So, if you pre-order today, you'd still pay $50. The guy who was helping me was distracted by another customer and when he returned to me, tried to change the price on me and told me today's price is $65, not $50 but would still be $100 for Valentine's. It's not the 1st time I've been overpriced but as I said, it was convenient... But only today though did an employee explain their ridiculous pricing strategy. While I usually prefer to support small businesses, and I know even big stores practice the same strategy, this left a bad taste, didn't feel right and just seems outright greedy. For the most part, their flowers are nice. The people are quite friendly and borderline nice but the pre-order promotion, the 100% markup... It just felt too deceptive and greedy. Then when I picked up the arrangement I pre-ordered, this is what I found. I was in a rush and have left in haste, and didn't realize it until it's too late. It looks like they never sold the sample I used to place my order, placed it in the fridge and basically handed me the exact same arrangement from last Wednesday. BEYOND DISAPPOINTING. Lo Lo and Matisse are incredible with flowers.... Hidden gem in Cypress with the best customer service. Had a last minute need for a fairly large arrangement, in certain out of season colors. To my surprise this was not going to be difficult at all. The arrangement far surpassed my expectations and within my budget. However,the arrangement was twice the size and was gorgeous! Everyone here was super friendly & helpful. The flower selection is one-of-a-kind. They have a lot of unique arrangements & flowers to choose from. They're even helping my family & I out with getting ahold of Cempasúchil's (marigolds in English, which are flowers often used for Day of the Dead) for my nephews first birthday & blessing ceremony with Aztec Dancers. That was a huge help for us--I really didn't want to drive to the LA Flower market! So, thank you to this family-owned flower shop. I had a great first experience here! This place is horrible! I placed an order a week in advance and gave a inspo pic and when I picked up the day of I got the ugliest bundle. The flowers were wilted and so ugly. I paid almost $200 dollars for 6 bouquets and what I got were cheap ugly flowers . I have been to both the locations in cypress and Long Beach and the Long Beach location has the rudest people working there and they over charge for everything! Do not go here! UPDATE: Refunded our money, after seeing how dried out and died the flowers were after 1 day purchase. My husband.bought flowers for deliver within 3 miles today for Valentine to surprise me at lunch time when I arrived home for lunch. The flower came in a vase. OMG FREAKING UNREAL. They charged him $124.59. Robbery!! These flowers look like a super market bunch $19.99 Half are falling apart and wilted. They did't leave a receipt. My husband is unable to walk. He waiting to get surgery. Never have I seen anyone charge so much for flowers that are dying before the sunsets. I hope they call and make right on these flowers. Called this place after last minute finding out our flower order for my grandma's funeral was not arriving in time and I'm not this type of person but I called an hour before closing, asking for flowers to be ready the following morning. Already assuming that I would be turned down for such a crazy request, the gentleman on the phone happily helped me out. He was so nice and so transparent about pricing and when it would be ready... it was like a godsend that he was able to accommodate our request (160 single stem blue orchids to be ready before 9am).
