Okay ! I have been avoiding this place because I loved Spiros ! BUT I ordered it via Uber Eats today. I got the burrito with all the meats but requested not to have ham and if I could replace it with either asada or chorizo and to my surprised they did !!!!...okay this is an extreme honest review ! Because I love breakfast burritos and because I truly think this place can have one of the best Bfast burritos if they work on some things...let me start of with the green salsa, honestly sucks ! Very bland, almost watered down (easy fix) ... the burrito was good but a little disappointing in a weird way !!!!, Listen !!!! Oddly enough it had asada trough every bite ! Plenty of sausage and bacon cooked to perfection ! But even though it didn't lack protein for some reason it was still not "packed"...trust me I'm confused as well ! "How can it have plenty of protein/meats but still be empty or soggy?" ... I have no clue ? But I'm not bashing it ! I truly think if they figure out how to pack it in better, maybe more egg and potatos? (Be careful because too much potato can kill it) ... also do not be afraid to season the eggs and potato's....a 10/10 breakfast burritos is usually packed ! When you hold it there's no flop or empty hollow tortilla.... I want to highlight again I'm not bashing it !!! It is a good burrito but can be worked on if you want it to be "top breakfast burrito in the southbay"... I give it a 7.7/10 at the moment ! Once they can Jam Pack it like ALL great breakfast burritos and work on their salsa I can see people traveling all over the southbay for this, also don't be afraid of seasoning! I know it's risky because some cooks over do it. Over all the hate for classics do to spiros legacy is not valid to me! This place was good and the fact they replaced the ham with asada shows they care. Hopefully this review didn't come off as hate because it's the complete opposite! i really love this place. the food is well made in a timely manner. specifically the hamburgers which are charbroiled on a grill. staff and employees are always very kind. you can't go wrong with a big old burger from classics you're a local in san pedro or coming to visit this town. pictured below is a single patty cheeseburger, but it always tastes amazing and quite large. many thanks again to the very kind owners and chef, you are all fantastic and much appreciated. read more

Im conflicted because this was probably one of the best breakfast burritos I've had especially for the price.. But I hate that the cook doesn't use gloves. I know that some people that do use gloves can containment them still and don't change them when they should. Pastrami sandwich and fries were good. I ordered nacho cheese on the side for the fries but they didn't need it bc they were cooked well and seasoned right. Pastrami sandwich was a bit juicy and soaked the roll a bit but it was yummy to me. I ate it right away so it didn't make a difference. $13 for sandwich. $5 for fries and a coke. So $20. Classics San Pedro used to be a restaurant called Spiros. It was so good, but eventually the new owner turned it into Classics San Pedro and only kept a few of the classic items on the menu. They used to have these amazing crispy chicken wings with a red hot sauce that was unlike any other. My friends and I would go just for that, it was so good. Nowadays, the only things that keep me coming back are their bacon cheeseburgers and breakfast burritos, which they've thankfully kept on the menu. It's not as amazing as it was when it was Spiros, but those two items are still really good and feel original. The only thing they lack now is the sauce. They don't really have any good flavors, just a green sauce and a red/orange one, but neither really compliments the food the way it should. The service is great tho and the people are super friendly. The restaurant is clean and open space for comfort. read more

Pulled up after a hike craving a breakfast burrito but ended up getting the Carne Asada Wet Breakfast Burrito. It was HUGE and nicely layered. The nicely trimmed/cut asada was cooked perfectly, tasty with the classic insides of rice, beans and cheese, cilantro and smothered with red sauce, topped with some sour cream and guacamole. For a quick hole-in-the wall stop it was tasty, a solid bang for your buck, and quick. I'd come back to try a breakfast burrito next time for sure. read more

I was told about this spot by a coworker that lives nearby. I first just went for their grilled cheese & curly fries. Then one day I tried their burgers & I was hooked !!! This spot has a pretty large menu & good prices. My son & I can both eat for $20. I love supporting a local business when I can. Their patties are on the thinner side but I do prefer them like that. I found a bug in my burrito, and when I showed the lady and tried to get it remade, she said it was just ' crispy hashbrown' and then grabbed the bug with a napkin and squished it. They did remake it but the lady was really rude about it, and I seriously lost my appetite and was totally grossed out . Nick got a double cheeseburger combo with fries and a root beer. Daniel just ate Nick's fries and had a diet Coke. I had a California Wet Burrito because although I had first chosen the Popeye omelette, breakfast at Classics is not served after noon straight. But, I took pictures of the burrito as proof that I demolished it. Although I burnt my tongue. Classics has a counter outside where you order, and a side room where you can eat your food as well as a couple of tables outside. There is no restroom. I pretty much was pleasantly surprised. The beef in my burrito was well done yet juicy; it was like tri tip. The burgers are flame broiled with actual flames. We took the bus and it was fun times. Daniel kindly paid for mine and Nick's meals with his EBT. If you want straight out fast food, it's priceyish but the quality taste is there. There are no milkshakes or smoothies, just soda or water. I decided to give this place a second chance before I wrote my review but man this place sucks . The food was even worse the second time around. I ordered a breakfast burrito both times and the hashbrowns were black and charred. Both times it was almost inedible. This place is a hidden gem in San Pedro and I have been going for a while now. This place is known for their fresh curly fries. The bacon cheeseburger is good. I usually get the double bacon cheeseburger since the patties are so thin. Other then that I have no other complaints about the food or service. People may complain about the thickness of the burgers but that doesn't make this place bad. Worth trying out for yourself. read more

Came here around 6pm to try this place with my niece. We're trying to find a good burger around San Pedro. I ordered a double cheese burger combo and my niece a chili cheese burger combo. The location looked okay. You order at the window and I think it's mainly take out place because the dining area was locked/closed. So we decided to go to a park and eat. The fries are good, my niece didn't get chili on the burger we ordered and I doubled checked the receipt so I can't say whether the chili is good here. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and a side of fries. There was no bacon on my burger, and it had a weird taste like they added oregano/italian seasoning. I didn't like the burger at all. The fries were crispy, and there were tons of them. My total was 11.63 which isn't bad nowadays. Last time I went there i ordered a cheeseburger and a pastrami sandwich I'm not even kidding my bill came up to $60 for a combo with fries and a drink it was outrageous!!! The food is good it has good flavor but the prices are ridiculous. It has a lot of homeless around most of them are harmless I've seen a few fights while driving close. I asked for Ranch dressing to go with my fries and he told me it was 82 cents ( that's not a problem but when you see the guy giving things to other people and not charging them, it makes you wonder what's that about). He then told me to go to the other counter and wait for it. I did. The guy never came over and instead helped everyone else. I thought this was extremely rude. The guy's name is Jovanni. He is a short, heavy set, caucasian man with black framed glasses and may or may not be wearing a hat. The cook at this place was really, really nice. I think Jovanni needs to take lesson from him on how to treat people. You don't judge people because they look a certain way.maybe that person was having a bad day or whatever. Love their bacon avocado burgers, actually any burger. Flat out the best place for a burger in town. They have an eat-in place as well as an outdoor sitting area, although to be frank, I've never seen anyone sitting outside. You can also order outside through a little window they have there so you don't have to go inside (even though it's only like 6 ft away lol). What I love the most about this place are the fries. They are always perfect. Nice and crispy. They also had seasoned salt, not just salt, which gives them a better flavor. Chili cheese fries are also delicious. Other items I've had there are the breakfast burritos and their carne asada tacos (which are huge). The pricing is decent and the food is great. What more can you ask for, you get quantity and quality. They also have Horchata and Orange Bang if you want that instead of soda. If you are in the area, I'd say give it a go. read more
