Food is solid...but not something I'd go out of my way for. I live close so it's convenient. I would recommend their pizzas here. They have pasta as well that are decent. They have a good daily happy hour 3-6pm with offerings from 5-8 dollars, along with a Wednesday-Friday lunch buffet from 11-2 that is about $15. The buffet is good if you're really hungry or just trying to eat a variety of things. They had pepperoni pizza, fries/wedges, meatballs, a soup, 3 pastas (marinara w penne, bacon mushroom creamy rigatoni, chicken broccoli alfredo), garlic knots and a salad bar when I went. Everything was decent... I prob wouldn't go again for the buffet as I only cared for one pasta (mushroom one)... the pizza was decent and of course the salad bar is always good. The pastas got soggy over time so I would recommend getting there closer to 11am if you want the buffet. They also have a lunch special that I would prob opt for instead... not sure the price but most likely less than the buffet. A slice of cheese pizza, a trip to the salad bar and a drink. M-F 11-2

Wow, what an amazing pizza‼ Story time: Moms and I are staying the night in San Pedro. We were feeling pizza for dinner. Came across this wonderful Gem. Pizza is FRESH AF, I don't even like marinara based pizzas. Yes, ranch or garlic on mines please... Anywho's this pizza was fire. If you sleep on them, you're hella different and might wanna get your mental checked. With love, Issa_diva aka Michelle

Perfect spot for a group we were 20 people celebrating our Sailing team victory. I spoke with the manager in advance Joey and he went out of his way to plan my menu and customize it for just what we needed. We had 12 adults 11 teenagers and we wanted to make sure we had the right combination of food and we didn't have that much time that we were going to be there so was working with Joey. He planned to shut down their typical buffet and turned it into a private buffet just for us we customized a red sauce spaghetti a white sauce, fettuccine garlic knots we substituted a third pasta for the meat lasagna and then we ordered Margarita pizza, cheese, pizza, and pepperoni pizza. We topped the meal off with lemon cello gelato, chocolate chip gelato and hazelnut gelato. It was a big hit I booked the reservation. I took care of giving them the credit card in advance. I ordered a couple Caesar salad salads for the tables so when we arrive, people could immediately start eating and then help themselves to the food that was piping hot and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch in particular with Joey. Our weight staff was kind but left us alone so we had the ability to talk amongst our ourselves. The restaurant was busy, but we were still kept to one section so it felt very private. I highly recommend it. The food was great. We will make sure every time we come back to this area from San Diego to San pedro we will stop and make this where we have all team dinners well done.

Not sure what was better; the pizza, or the service. Both get an A+ in my book. If I'm ever in the area again, I'm definitely coming back.

Just ate lunch here after not having it for a while & honestly it didn't disappoint! The pizza is solid & the wings were actually decent! Our server Mia was very sweet & attentive to us which I always appreciate! My only issue was with the salad bar, it's usually all really good but my party and I just noticed that maybe some of the toppings weren't super fresh, but other than that we really enjoyed our meal & experience. I'd say if you're ever in the downtown San Pedro area it's worth trying it & stopping in for a bite!

I like leftovers! Pepperoni slice, mozzarella stick, and roast beef sammie from happy hour

Ahh, molto buono! (Very good!) This review is based on being a fortunate recipient of leftovers on separate occasions. Months ago, my hubby brought home the Buono's Special which was one of extra pizzas his work event had. The Special lives up to its name- pepperoni, sausage, ham, salami, mushrooms, olives, green peppers, and sweet onion. A solid, tasty pizza! I did not write a review at the time since it was just my first time having their pizza. The hubby had another event which was happy hour. He brought me back some goodies-- pepperoni slice, small roast beef and cheese sandwich, and a mozzarella stick. My favorite of the 3 is the mozzarella stick. Just perfect. Other items are A-OK. I also have a cheese slice that I have not tried yet. Would love to check Buono's out in person one of these days. I have heard so many good things about them. They also have 2 locations in Long Beach in addition to this one. For now, 4 stars for the limited experiences I've had. Again, molto buono!

At first, they seemed organized as they called out names for pick-up and the flow was going. However, once our 70 minutes passed, we moved inside so we wouldn't miss our order. We checked in and finally got our food. The pizza seemed to be missing lots of pepperoni, but we didn't want to complain because we were so hungry. The wings were disappointing--bloated and soggy. To top off the chaos, a guy walked in while we were eating, and the staff shouted out the name "Brett." He looked amazed that they "knew him", anyway they handed him the order without checking the system. Ten minutes later, he came back saying he had the wrong pizza because it had pineapple. Meanwhile, a frustrated woman was waiting for her pineapple pizza, and the real Brett was outside drinking a beer! "Random Brett" had just come out of nowhere and was given the wrong order. Every mistake was given a "10-minute fix" estimate. The cashier was explaining to t the kitchen that she's getting yelled at by customers for all the blunders, and while there were five people working in the kitchen when we arrived, only one gal was left by the time we were eating. Someone even came in from next door asking for a manager, but none was present. Get it together, guys! You have a good thing going with the pizza, but the service was a mess and the wings were not good.

This place is a sleeper. The reason why I say that is because if I pass a place that reads pizza…read morefor take-out, I imagine budget quality. And the food from here was expensive in taste, and not costly either. What I want to eventually say, is that this place has unique pizza flavors, excellent service, moderate prices, and eye-catching ecore that makes the wait for the take-out order seem less, cause one can distract themselves with the cartoons on the wall. Preapre the brick pizza oven a review will be baked that honors this place with robust prose. I was celebrating a friend's birhtday. And the day got gone, without me really placing attention to the food I was going to honor him with. I had been invited to this place in the past (a Yelp experience) and I found the food good enough to remember. So I trusted that this place would somehow deliver cheese and sauce goodness to honor someone I consider a brother, from another mother. And to be honest, this place was close enough to be a choice option. But now the relatively closeness to this place is a plus, the food is the reason why I am going to go back. I surveyed the menu and I decided to do the Sausage Hunter, without the mushrooms. I realized that Sausage Hunter could be a name of a movie about a cougar gone wild. And the pizza was fantastic. The main flavor pop was the sausage. It provided meaty flavor and the fennel elevated the taste to Mozza-like quality. Not that this place can compete with Mozza that is not the point. More like the pizza of this place was unique enough to be called gourmet like the type you find at Mozza. And the pizza here was more accessbile in taste, price point, and does not require one wear shoes. One can enter here in sandals. I do not think I can do that at Mozza. Maybe. I won't try though. This place does not do itself justice with its name. Perhaps it can be called Piccini Gourment pizza to-go. Regardless, the pizza was a standout: White sauce, dollops of pesto, parmessean, mozzarella, and care. Hopefully one can see that these ingredients are not run of the mill pepperoni and olives. Even writing them seemed decadent and like I had enter a Nonna's kitchen on the eve where she was cooking for her only grandaughter's wedding. On this day, the sauce had to be white, in case she spilled it, it would match the dress. Imagine if she spilled red sauce on her white gown? Nonna's know what suace to make for each day. Since I rushed through my day I did not have time to buy plates, napkins, and forks for the mini party i was hosting. And yet I had a cake to provide to someone and also this pie. So I asked one of the workers, in a hushed whisper, do you mind providing me extra plates, and forks and napkins. And she was like how many? Anhe md I with a feeling of guilt I said 15. My inner person cringed. I got ready for the no, perhpas delivered in an italian accent. And the person who helped me said, I got you, with happy conviction. She did not make me feel like an ogre who pillaged a village of its straw and pitchforks to give utensils and comfortable seating for his ogre friends when he forgot to purchase these items on the way to the pit where the party was being held. Her behavior was attentive past the line of service. It was no wonder her name was Precious. I took a clip of the mural. It looked like a serious artist painted with crayons. It showed gelato and people about to kiss while racing to the center of a spaghetti strand. It had many things to see and wonder about while you waited like I said at the start of the review. So there was thought here, I think. What can stimulate people while they wait for their pizza besides their phone? Colorful images. It works with kids and cartoons. Why not with customers waiting for their pizza? This place will be on the rotation when i want pizza.
