I've only been here twice. The first time, I went in for a gel mani & pedi. I vividly remember my toes being roughly filed to the point where I got a small but definitely painful cut (which I didn't notice until I got home), and when I left the salon, the edges of my fingernails weren't smooth and were somewhat jagged. I had also requested the bottoms of my feet to be scrubbed, and the guy was using the metal one (the one that kind of looks like a cheese grater) and slightly scraped my heel. I don't know what I was thinking the first time, because I figured for some reason the cut was my fault (should I have said something? Didn't I feel the pain at all?) and when I noticed the botched job on my fingernails, I told myself that they were nice enough and I probably got what I paid for. I shrugged it off since I wasn't expecting to come back. Oh, I should also mention that I had a hangnail that they left for me to suffer with.. I had to pick it out and cut it off myself after experiencing pain while walking. Not sure if they made it worse, but overall it was not a satisfying experience. The second time was about a month ago. I got short coffin shaped acrylics. I brought a photo for reference to my nail tech on the kind of look I wanted. She basically said ok and that she would do what she could.. and I'm never going to expect any result to look exactly like the reference photo, but my nails weren't even close to what I had in mind. If my nail tech could have just communicated with me better, that would have been helpful with my expectations. For some reason they made them super thin (one of them eventually broke when I tried opening a cardboard box) and while I was lucky enough not to get hurt this time, I couldn't help but notice that the edges on my acrylics were not smooth (yet again) and as for someone like me who has OCD-like tendencies, it bothered me quite a bit. Honestly, I don't think it's worth coming here, even if you're trying to be fresh on a budget. Especially not when you'll be at risk of cuts or infections. ‍ read more

About two weeks and half ago I had a not so great experience( I understand we all have our not so great days but the owners took care of the situation)The owners took care of it and fixed my broken nails and gave me a discount stamp card for this time around. The reviews about the guy at this place are so true! Horrible! He seems to not care at all. I went in for a mani and he got me started. While he was cutting my cuticles he didn't just cut me once but twice and all he said was "shit". He then continued to be rough. Someone made a comment on here saying he looked like he was still in training, I don't think that's the case. I believe he knows how to do the job but doesn't care for it since he was looking away while doing my nails. Worst manicure & pedicure I have ever received. The manicure was absolutely the WORST. I went a few days before my wedding to have fresh manicure/pedicure. The lady was really pushy as I was trying to decide what color to go with. Every time I was consulting with my sister, she already had the color ready to use. Felt completely rushed. Before even applying color, she did not even cut my cuticles. She cut my nails unevenly and did not even file them down. Later I found that she was trying to "square" them. She applied the nail polish horribly. Throughout the process I kept trying to tell her stuff and she kept saying "wait, I'm not done." At one point, there was a piece of cotton on my thumb. Instead of trying to take it off or get rid of it, she kept applying polish to hide it. It was still there. I wanted a matte finish and for some reason she applied 5 coats of it. I think she was trying to cover up the crappy job she did. Finally at the end, she let me talk and I told her the nails were uneven and the polish was messy. She kept blaming it on the matte. Sorry lady, the matte did not make my nails crooked. She then continued to fix it by filing it but ended up making it worse. I ended up taking the file and fixing it myself. The only reason why this place gets 2 stars is because the owner is nice. When I was checking out and complained about my nails, she tried to fix it but by that time, I was already in there for 2.5 hours (because she kept putting more and more top coat on). I was so upset and so disappointed with this that I went to another nail salon down the street the next morning and had them redo everything. Do yourself a favor and find another salon. Today April 24th 2019, I went to this place for the third time as I am trying different people, I got a mani & pedi. All 3 time had bad experience. They are all rude, fast and want to offered you everything even when you tell them ( I did it last time) I understand they want to move fast but they even hurt yourself with the tools.. the lady doing my pedicure was so fast that almost cut my skin.. I went in this morning to have my gel manicure repaired. After only 5 days my nails are chipping and paint is rubbing off. They asked me to sit and wait for the woman who did them originally. I assumed this was because she was the only employee available. However, when two new customers walked in, the manager immediately put three other employees to work on them, still leaving me sitting! I came to give this place a try after they had done an okay job last time I decided to give them another try. They did NOT do a good job removing my cuticle. I looked at the finish product and I was not happy she had left excess skin & I asked the guy to remove it he did not soak my feet to remove the excess skin he made me bleed. I went home & it was still hurting me. I went 2 days later & he proceeded to "fix it" did not soak my feet again & was just picking at my toe nail. It hurt so bad and I told him to stop he kept insisting on "fixing" it & I did not let him. I told them I wanted a refund for messing up my toenail & they proceeded to tell me they don't do refunds & they blamed me for having an "ingrown toe nail." They were so rude no help what's so ever they have the worst customer service ever their job sucks. They also say they don't take out ingrown's so if you just want a nice relaxing pedicure to take out all the junk this is NOT the place. I left with paying almost 60$ for a basic pedicure and manicure. Please don't waste your time here. So, this was my second time at the shop. The first time was amazing, so I started telling people about the shop. I now regret doing so. I went in with my mother to treat her to a spa day and the gentleman who did my nails the first time wasn't in. His name was tommy and he did an amazing job! So a new person did my nails, and I'm not even sure what his name was because he didn't bother to ask or tell me. His demeanor was as if he didn't wanna be at work today or being doing my nails. I went for a fill and color, and he proceeded to make my nails uneven and thick and thin. I asked him to file them down to even them thicknesses wise, which he did (which didn't help at all) but that's all. My finger nails are uneven and dented in places as well. He then messed up my color and got nail polish all over my hands. Now I'm stained green. Now two days after, my nail polish is peeling and chipping. It was a waste of $60 and i would not recommend coming here. Nor will I be coming bavjzI've posted pictures below so you can see what I'm taking about. The pictures don't even do the damage justice, just imagine what they look like in person. Update: First I was never asked by Vivian if I liked how my nails were. If she had, I would have said no and she would have seen them herself right? Bottom line I wasn't happy with them, and you as an owner or manager who I supposedly told that I was happy saw, how my nails were and you let me leave your nail spa looking like that as a visual representation of YOUR spas work. Shame on you. My mom did go back in and told Vivian that I wasn't happy with my nails and she said to come back. Never was I told that my nails where going to be free. If I liked my nails why would I need free services? That just doesn't make any sense. The only thing truth you are saying, is that my mother made me another appointment. Never once was I asked if I liked them. Never once was I told they were gonna be free. You as a business owner should understand that if someone isn't happy with a job they paid you for, you need to own up to that. I didn't come back because I was upset with the job that was already done, I didn't want to even go back and waste my money. My adult daughter and I went here to get a fill and pedicures. I paid extra for her chrome paint. Her nails are bumpy and not painted on the sides. My nails the whole top layer of clear coat peeling off and powder on the sides chipping away after 24 hours.. I went back 2 days later and asked for some of my money back. They agreed it was bad. I told them I could not wait and wanted 50.00 back of the 110.00 i spent, not including 20% tip. Once again told me to wait. I left. Today was my first and last visit at this nail shop. My go to nail shop is further away so I was trying to look for a shop closer to home. All I wanted was a simple gel pedi and dip powder mani. I ended up having to get a clear powder mani with a gel polish. They have like ten dip powders, none of which I liked. I got there at 6:30pm and didn't get finished until after 9pm. When I got there the shop was completely empty (that should have been my first sign). The person who did my pedicure was the owner I believe was good. Even though the pedicure took way longer than I expected she still did a decent job. The ten min massage was the best part. There are uneven jagged edges that I didn't notice until after I got home. My manicure was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had and I have been consistently getting my nails done for over ten years now. The nail tech that I had cut me TWO times. She tried to say she cut me because my "nails were thin". When I told her she didn't cut my nail she cut my finger she said "it was bc she soaked my fingers to long and my skin was thin". I originally wanted a medium length coffin shaped nails I walked out of there with short thick uneven jagged nails. That were a mix between a coffin and a oval shape. I had to go home try even out the edges as best as I could... on EVERY SINGLE NAIL. I think the nail tech could sense that I was getting frustrated because she even mentioned that the next time I go back I should have my nails done by the guy. She also stated that I came to late in the day that's why they were taking a long time but they weren't busy. It was just their lack of knowledge and staff that made it take long. They saw two other people that came in after me and left before me. They were working on both my hands and feet at the same time it should not have taken as long as it did for basic requests. Came In for a fill in and the girl told me one price then changed to another and it was fine until the guy who was doing my nails was trying to charge me 15 dlls more. And I told him the girl had already gave me a price he then said "I fix a nail for u" when clearly he didn't fix anything i had a small hair stuck in my nail and he didn't even bother removing it he just threw in the acrylic over it now i have a hair stuck on my nail and my hair is dark so even worse. I have a black line on my nail. It doesn't end there though after I told him I wouldn't pay him extra for something he didn't do. He got in a shitty attitude and painted my nails like a five year old and didn't even bother fixing it. Now i have to go get them fixed somewhere else.
