I didn't have an appointment but I stopped by anyway since I was 3 minutes away (i did try calling beforehand) no one was at the salon but I knew it was appointment only so I went next door to ask and the lady said that it was by appointment (which I already knew) but as I continued walking around the shop she came up to me and she said "if you don't mind I have one of the girls Lily and she'll be here in 15 minutes if you don't mind waiting". I said that wasn't a problem, so I waited and Lily was the one that did my pedicure and she was a pleasure, she listened to what I wanted and executed it beautifully. It was my first and my last time here. I came in wanting to get a specific nail design while letting them know ahead of time. Everything started out fine at first. I originally had gel-x before I came in and she said I should just do a refill instead of a new set. Then she changed her mind and said I should get a new set, so I said ok that's fine. As she was doing my nails, she discussed which I'm assuming was the owner? About how much she should charged my nails. The owner said gel-x cost $55 and then the design, which she said was complicated (it was one spider web with a heart w chrome) add $15 but then the owner said "no, let's add another $5 and do $80 instead of $75). I'm like "ok.." in my head. I mean I get it, people want to make money but to upcharge me randomly is a bit questionable. Unfortunately she couldn't do the design which then I proceeded to tell her just to make all of them black French tip. She told me the new price was $70 and then she switched it back down $65. I paid with card so just letting you guys know if you do pay with card, it has taxes applied so bring cash if you don't want to be charged with tax. But as I was inspecting my nails in my car, I found my nails to be uneven and a bit sloppy. I'm REALLY sad about my nails as I looked on their Yelp and they had such nice nails photo so I had higher expectations for this place :( **update: I got my nails done yesterday and the paint already started to lift! I came across Smile Nails and ATN Supplies on Instagram a few months ago. I love fancy nails and designs, and by looking at his instagram pics, I know I have to set up an appointment. I have been to many nail salons over the last decade. It's hard to find a nail tech who is a true talent, creative & a perfectionist when it comes to his work. Smile Truong has all that. I was able to set up an appointment with Smile in Feb. That day I left I know I've found a home for my nails. Not only Smile is very talented but extremely funny, always make me laugh every time I'm there.Though the salon is a little distant for me, but it's worth the drive. I love the fact that I don't need to show him a picture of what I like. I just tell him that I like a lot of glitters, diamonds, bling etc... and he will come up with beautiful designs. **New Nail Shop Alert** To be clear the shop technically is NOT OPEN yet. So if you're wondering why it's taking so long for you to get an appt this is why. They should be fully open some time this month hopefully by the 2nd-3rd week. Ok So ATN is a Nail Supply owned by master nail artist / trainer Alex Troung. He recently split his store into 3 sections. Transforming one quarter into the Nail Salon, the other will be where he hosts trainings for students, and largest section will be where the Nail Supply already is. Loved my set, Alex did an amazing job! And he was priced well. He charged me $75 for my full set w/ designs BUT I can't guarantee this will be their regular prices. Once he has the shop fully running prices might increase, but hopefully not LOL! The set I got was basic compared to what he usually does so please keep that in mind. Simple sets will be for his employees, he only goes complex designs. What's great about this shop is they have EVERYTHING because they are a nail supply. Every jewel, charm, chain, powder, polish you can imagine they probably have it. It's a small nail salon therefore it might fill up fast so I would recommend you come early or when you have time to burn. I messaged them over Yelp to schedule something 2 weeks out and the person did not respond for days. By then, I simply booked an appointment with Nina for my pedicure at Lisa's Nails nearby. I told the woman I wanted them short and rounded, she did them almond shaped and lumpy... then I tried telling her the color she used on my pedicure isn't what I chose as she did the first nail... she proceeds to tell me it gets darker... it didn't... and the icing on the cake.. she dug into my nails so aggressively during my pedi that I bled on both feet and she clearly didn't use clean tools because I had to be treated for a bad infection only 2 days later!!! Terrible! I was hoping to find a new local salon and sadly, I'm still on the hunt. Had an appointment for dip powder and a pedicure and normally when both services are booked, they ensure that there is a tech to work on you at the same time. Well, not in my case. I was sitting waiting for my nail tech while getting my pedicure done and she never acknowledged me or came over. At this point I'm there for an hour and a half and nails still haven't been started. My pedicure lady then takes me over and she is going to do my nails. After about 5 minutes, she gets taken away to a new pedicure client. The receptionist comes over to do my nails and she grabs my hand as if I had something wrong with me. I could instantly tell that she is not a nail tech so I started asking questions. I then find out that she is not even licensed because she is "too lazy" (her words). I then find out that they haven't been open very long and ALL OF THEIR PHOTOS have had the dates changed to look like they have been open longer than the 3 months that they truly have been. Some go back a couple of years! How misleading! She made me feel so uncomfortable and barely was holding onto my nail so it was flopping around with the drill. I was afraid of getting hurt so I told her that I will wait for someone else because she was almost done and they were so lumpy and uneven and have so many bubbles. The next lady tried to fix it, but didn't do hardly anything. By this time I was there for 4 hours and had to go so I said I was done and needed to leave. The ONLY good thing was that they used brand new buffers and files for every pedicure client. read more

I was so excited to come to this place after seeing the reviews but my expectations were not met at all. They were very friendly, especially the receptionist, but the experience overall was not good. My mom and I both got pedicures, her water was way too hot and mine was literally cold water. After kindly asking to warm the water up it still wasn't even warm. I bled from a couple of toes because the cuticles were cut way too short which made the rest of the pedicure extremely unpleasant. My mom still had really rough heels by the time they were done and a week later some of my gel polish chipped off. For what we paid I'd expect much better quality. read more
