I could not have had a better experience, and my husband echoes by thoughts as well. When we first spoke over six months ago, we mentioned how much we love peonies, and even though they are out of season, Maria somehow found them. She also also painted holographic flowers to match the theme. When the floral was coming in, everyone commented how beautiful it was. The venue also commented that Maria should be doing more floral with them for their private events. As a day of coordinator, Maria and her team were incredible. We seriously did not have to worry about anything. On top of that, they also found these incredible outfits that went along with our theme and wore them and just did it. Not because they asked. Because they cared. You could tell the team was so excited and I've never worked with someone this detail oriented incredible. If you are getting married or having an event, Maria will relieve every piece of anxiety in the week leading up and on the same day. This florist single-handedly ruined our wedding…read more We had a beautiful wedding planned at a local winery. An outdoor ceremony overlooking the vineyard. A fashion photographer and videographer shooting the ceremony. Private chef for our small intimate reception. The only blemish on our otherwise perfect day was the wilted bouquet of filler flowers that were completely different than what was contracted. My wife had always dreamed of having a bouquet of striking white with black center anemones. She had saved numerous examples she meticulously cut out of various wedding magazines through the past few years. When she showed them to this florist, the florist said it would not be a problem at all and that it would be a beautiful arrangement, similar to the example. However, since it was a slightly rarer flower, she would let her know the week of our wedding if there would be any problem with supply. My wife was completely fine with that and told her that she was definitely open to other flowers, but this was her dream bouquet. On the week of the wedding, my wife checked in with the florist to see if everything would be ok. The florist said she would order extra flowers just in case, but that everything was looking fine. So my wife was happy and reassured. The florist also said that she would personally deliver the bouquet to make sure everything was ok. On the day of the wedding, the coordinator for the vineyard called us to let us know that the florist dropped off everything and left. We thought it was a little odd that the florist didn't stop by to meet us, like she said she would. But we figured it may have just been a busy day for her. Then we realized why she bolted out of there. When we got the bouquet, it was completely wilted and made up of green filler flowers. There were 4 anemones about the size of a nickel each. It looked like someone dropped it and accidentally stepped on it. So my wife called the florist to see if there was something she could do to fix this. She didn't pick up. My wife left her a message to call her back. The florist never called her... not on the day of, nor in the subsequent weeks later. A couple weeks later, the florist sends a short email asking for the remaining balance without even addressing the message my wife left and the displeasure she communicated. My wife writes a long email about how the issues with the bouquet and explains that she will not pay for the bouquet, but will pay for the other items (flower petals for the aisle, nosegays, boutonniere), even though there were problems with those items also. She asked for the florist to call her to discuss or we would just send the check less the cost of the bouquet. She didn't get a response at all, so we just sent the check. Here's the deal. If she had said prior to the wedding, "hey, unfortunately the big anemones didn't come in, unfortunately, we have to go to plan B and use different flowers," we would be fine. If she delivered the flowers and explained what happened, we would probably be fine even then. If she at least returned our message or responded to the email, then at least that would be professional. But the fact that she failed on every level is frankly disturbing and unacceptable. Please do not buy a single thing from this person ever!
