I get so many compliments whenever he does my nails. The prices for all the services they offer are very reasonable, and I always end up leaving happy. BEWARE OF TERRY THE NAIL TECH!! Came here for my last couple acrylic sets and fill ins, untill my last visit. I didn't make an appointment upon arriving, which I didn't think would matter because I always see nail techs just siting there. I came in for a fill in which I usually have paid $35-$40, which to me is a fair price. When I came in that day my nails were done by terry, he did an okay job, nothing special and just talked about how he's an amazing nail tech and all this stuff about how people pay "big money" for his work. The nail job was average and when I payed he told me it was $60!!! $60 FOR A FILL-IN!!!!! And it was half asssed. Nails started peeling off a week after. Save your self the time and go anywhere else. I usually do my nails at home but, from time to time, is nice to have them profesionaly done. In these cases I would go right out of work or during lunch hour to a nail salon just two minutes away from the office but, the last times I was there the manicure was mediocre, would not last more than two days, and service very slow. So, decided to not go there anymore. A couple of weeks ago I overheard someone recommending Classy Nail Spa to a friend. I didn't hear who she said was her nail technician but still decided to give them a try. So I stopped by today. I was in luck, no wait time... Five minutes and Janis showed me to her station. They have a good variety of colors (Essie, OPI, and more... and the season, trendy colors). I chose my color and she started with the manicure so it would have time to dry during my pedicure and avoid my nails getting damaged . The manicure was great, my nails filed the shape I like them, right length. She shaped them buffed them and prepared them for the nail polish but before I got a mini massage which surprisingly was very relaxing. The nail polish was applied quickly and perfectly smooth. Next came the pedicure. Here I felt like it lacked on the massage part (comparing with other salons I've visited) but still very happy with how my toes feel and look. Place is clean and spacious enough to do about 6 pedicures at a time, plus the manicure stations. Cindy, who I assume is the owner or manager, is very attentive to what the staff is doing and making sure the guests are happy with the service, and Janis was very professional and nice. Classy Nail Spa has been my nail shop of choice for a few years now. The main reason? It's meticulously clean, the nail polish selection is amazing, and most importantly, the technicians are great at what they do. My nail tech is Mai, and my gel manicures don't budge--no peeling ever! The only reason I don't keep them longer than 2 weeks is my nails grow too fast. The pedicures are great too. (Holly is also wonderful.) The staff is friendly and the place is welcoming. I have gone here three times which was generous but I always see it empty so I know I can get in and out really quick. I have the same tech who doesn't even ask my name. The last time I went the tech was watching something on his phone the entire time. The color you pick off of the samples does not match what you are given. Doesn't even come close. You would think with him being so slow that the place would be immaculate and that is not the case. He turns people away bc it is always an hour wait for them to get service. Like I said I want to help a local business but I am guessing he doesn't need the help bc he is the only one working along with one other person. That is crazy to me. Maybe there is a reason he has no techs to work for him but it seems pretty sad that you wouldn't want to be able to accommodate paying customers. We came in with no appointment, MY MISTAKE. They started my daughters toes and then stopped to go work on another client who apparently had an appointment and left her sitting there for 45 minute having nothing done. She in only 9, but deserves to be treated kindly and with respect. I was still waiting in the front for my turn to get started and realized she had not even had anything done the whole time she was away from me in the chair! Totally unacceptable. I'm all for keeping your appointments on time, but not at the expense of your walk in first time clients. They could have soaked the appointment ladies feet and finished my kids toes in about 5 minutes, but instead left her feeling ignored and unworthy of the services they are suppose to provide. The guy I had was friendly, chatty and efficient. I got Miami Beet by OPI and the whole experience was wonderful--they are clean, sanitary, comfortable and best of all--cheap! I have been coming here for awhile when they had the old owner and now the new owners. Let's just say.....I will not be coming back here again! EVER!! The owner (Adam) is so obnoxious and disrespectful. He treats the customers poorly and I was one of them. His wife is very unfriendly and isn't so nice either. The pedicures are horrible. They don't even take the dry skin off your feet. The rude lady (Amy?) that did my toes and nails was horrible. The way she spoke to me was so mean and condescending. I was desperate and in a rush in this area and after learning that the place around the corner's wait was longer than the time I had, I found myself back at classy. Fortunately, new owners = a better experience. My 3.5-4 stars is based on what I expect from a place like this (not comparing to every salon/spa in the world) Set your expectations accurately and you'll be happy. It's what you'd expect of a nail salon of this caliber... the old "pick your color, go sit in the number __ chair" and enjoy a decent pedicure or manicure or whatever. I also did an eyebrow wax (again out of desperation) and it was alright. I didn't get burned and walked out with 2 eyebrows looking clean and about even. I got a manicure and pedicure for a great price but my manicure lasted less than 24 hours and typically my natural nails last at least 5 days. My pedicure is still in good shape. Nail color selection is limited. They only take cash tips so bring some!!! I didn't have any and was embarrassed. They really take care of you there, and make sure you are comfortable. They take their time to do your nails, which I looove, because they want to make sure you are fully satisfied! Very nice staff. The lady that did my pedicure was extremely rough, while cutting my cuticles she cut my skin deep started to bleed, didn't apologize nothing, I had gel polish on my toes that she removed with the electrical filer and burnt the crap out of my toenails, once again never apologized! Then it came to scrubbing my feet and this is how rough she was she cut the side of my foot with the exfoliating sponge thing, never apologized!!! I had to wear bandages on my left foot! This is the second time I made an appointment second time they called to say I was late. I would have been a new customer but after trying two different times my daughters and I will go elsewhere, nail salons in our area are a dime a dozen. The so called manager calls to tell me I am late so I asked why don't you call and confirm he said we don't do that. He was not helpful, didn't listen, kept telling me he can make me an appointment tomorrow no matter how many times I told him I worked. His response "Everybody works, so what" I also let him know that the appointment time was changed because I changed my day around to make my appointment. First visit to this nail salon I rated it 3 stars because of the rude, inexperienced nail tech who hurt me. I have been back twice now so I decided to update my review and now am giving it 4 stars. Lost a star for skimping on the nail polish layers. So I came back for fills with Diana twice so far. She was very personable and skilled. Travis apparently no longer works there. On the first fills my nail polish lasted the full 2 weeks but it was 2 coats of pink one of white French tip and 2 coats of top coat (at my request). Last week I had fills again. Diana did only one coat of pink, one of French tip white, and one top coat (their usual). It didn't last but one day and the white started to chip off. I put another coat of top coat on at home so it would last longer. I think this is their way of trying to get you to pay more for the special pink and white acrylic nails, but with 2 kids in college and living on one income in this economy, that option is not affordable for me I would say that it is a good place for nails but ask for an experienced nail tech and insist on two coats of top coat if you are getting the French manicure. They charge more for it anyway, so you should get your $ worth. read more

This used to be a good place to get manis and pedis. Lately they have changed staff very often. The owner is rude but I never deal with him so I kept going there. However, 3 weeks ago I got an infection between my cuticle and nail in one of my toes. I went back and asked to see how they disinfect their tool and they said " oh no the machine is not working" I asked "how long has it been out of order?". The answer was " a couple of months". This place is great! Everyone is very friendly, they have always taken me right away without an appointment. The salon is clean with simple decor, usually playing instrumental music which is very relaxing. They have a great selection of polish - regular and gel.
