I was initially happy with my experience at the salon, but an older lady at Classy did a fill on my nails. The original nail set was from another salon, but from having my nails done for many years, I know that a new set needs to be filled properly. I called 15 minutes before and asked if they had availability and they said they would. Parking was a little tricky since the parking lot was packed (weekday around 2 PM), but found some street parking not too far. This location is not where it's happening on second street, but just at the beginning of it. You sign in at the front and I like that it tells you the number of points/stars you would get for signing in. Gamify anything and people want to keep coming back. I saw that they had refreshments but no one offered anything to me, so maybe it's only for special occasions? I was seated right away but waited about 15 minutes before someone got started, which is fair since I was basically a walk-in. The nail tech that came over was polite enough but didn't speak much English. I paid extra for a 10 minute massage, but honestly not sure if it was worth it or would be more bold and ask for more pressure haha. Someone else took over towards the end. I'm not sure why, but would have been nice to know, since my nail tech got started on someone else. The massage chairs are nice but could have had stronger pressure too. (Sounds like I need a deep tissue massage lol). Pricing is okay and reasonable for the area. I like that you can pay via Zelle or Venmo, as it's definitely more convenient. Back home (Bay Area), I pay about 15 dollars less and the massage is way better and longer. TLDR: nails look good (got gel pedicure), service is meh. Prices are reasonable for the area. read more

I was mostly happy with my Gel X manicure but usually I'm sitting at 3-4 weeks with no issues before I go get a new set, and I'm at week 2.5 and have 2 nails chipping, that's not something that's ever happened to me with Gel X so I'm a little weary about returning. Myle did my set and she's very sweet and makes sure you like them. The shaping is average (I'm picky) and the actual paint design is perfect but I guess she should have done another coat? Price is also pretty standard $60 for a set and $5 for design (or it may have been $55 for a set and $10 for design). Cute salon, good parking, just not happy with how fast these chipped. read more

How is it that my left hand polish stayed, but not my right? Vivian did my hands, tipped her & the girl she didn't know the name to $10 EACH after paying $73! Why tf we tipped at all is beyond me!!! Pedi is great, minus the one big left toe chipping causing me to have to clip it down & make it shorter to blend in, but I'll take that over this whole right hand mani crap I got. They said this could be my new spot, but i think I'll continue to drive to Torrance where they're a bit more costly BUT HIGHLY THOROUGH!!!! Now I can't complain about their acrylics because I have never gotten them, but I came here with high hopes! They have such a "GREAT" review rating here on Yelp, but clearly the work doesn't really justify that high star rating. So if you're looking for a cheap place, maybe just skip that and go somewhere that is $10 higher & BETTER WORK WITH MORE SPACE AS WELL. The shop was tiny & crammed. The best part of this FIRST TRIP WAS ONLY THE PEDI WITH SCRUB, so that would most likely be the ONLY REASON TO COME HERE, but I have to give it a 1 star as I don't even know if Vivian gave that girl her $10 for the pedi tip.
