I had a great experience at Luxe! The salon was busy when my friend and I arrived. After choosing our colors from a vast display, we were lead to the pedicure baths. We were offered water and wine! Next time, I'll do wine. I misplaced the business card of my manicurist but she did an amazing job on my toes, but my nails are the most beautiful I have ever seen. She understood when I said "glitter ombré", was clear about the cost upgrade, and knocked it out of the park. At the end, she gave me all of the information about my colors, and the policy regarding no-chip. I can't stop looking at my nails 4 days later. I wanted to try somewhere different for my no chip this time, and I saw this place had good reviews, so I thought I'd check it out. I made an appointment and showed up on time, and I got seated right away. I waited for about 15-20 minutes before someone started on my nails since the person I signed up for was running behind. They did communicate that with me, but I would've appreciated quicker service, especially since I had an appointment. As for my nails, I loved the color and the service I got. My nail tech was friendly and took her time. That said, my nails started chipping at about a week and a half, which was very disappointing. Now after 2 weeks, they are chipping significantly. Overall I am not happy that my nails didn't last at least 2 weeks. read more

I used to go here frequently prior to the pandemic but it was a 30-40 min drive. So after a bad experience I discontinued coming here. I was planning to be in the area this past nye (2022) so I decided to make an appointment and give them another try. I was just doing a pedicure but when they asked about manicures my friend decided to get one so I decided to join her. The pedicure itself was just ok. I wasn't thrilled with the quality. Normally I can go a month between pedicures but after a week and a half/2 weeks I was already needing another one so that's disappointing. My chief complaint was the manicure. Firstly I asked for a spa manicure and I didn't notice anything differently done than a regular pedicure. I'm not sure what the price difference is though as I hadn't previously checked and booked. The tech in effort to prevent polish on my skin left a gap of bare nail between my nails and my fingers. I asked for that to be fixed on the nails I noticed it on. After sitting at the dryer maybe 20 min I checked my nails again and noticed whole sides of my nails bare of polish. Finally annoyed I asked them to give me the polish bottle and I could fix my nails myself. However they asked my tech to return and fix them. He seemed annoyed even though I had paid and tipped in cash more than 20%. Again I did tell them I could do it myself. In the end you could definitely tell where more polish was applied. So it didn't look professional and the next day when I was at brunch a friend asked where I got my nails done....because from across the table she could see bare areas with no polish. Definitely won't be returning. Absolutely not worth the price or experience. I also want to include that during my friends manicure they CUT her. Both of us agree that If we're cut during nail services and we are bleeding we don't return to that location. read more

I also started getting regular dip manicures, and now my fingernails aren't short little ugly stubs - often times people are surprised to learn that they're my actual nails! While everyone here does a great job, Ivy and Long in particular are the best. It's a beautiful salon with a lot of techs, and everyone is busy, but friendly. I appreciate that they have HGTV on when I'm in and normally the time flies before I realize they're already done. He was rude and did not care that I've spent thousands of dollars with this establishment and wasn't satisfied! This is my first issue and will be my last! Not only did they give me uneven nails and refuse to correct them but the work was so bad that I had to get them redone at another place. On top of that, a customer spilled nail polish all over my clothes and shoes. They did not do anything about it and said that it is customer to customer problem. It's taken me a while to write this review and I've only been back once for a pedicure but I will NEVER be returning to this salon. I used to be a regular here but not anymore I took my nails and went across the way to the salon by Jewel. I had a mani/pedi scheduled the day before my wedding!!! I brought my MOA and fiancé (his first time ever) to get mani/pedis. We started our pedicures first. They had a sitting in chairs and decided to do my maid of honors and myself manicure at the same...not my fiancé. That's not what I booked and was frustrated from the start. What made me literally CRY in front of them was the fact (on top of being a stressed out bride and trying to have a relaxing spa day) was the techs were having full-blown conversations about their kids in school (all 3 of the nails techs) and I had a shout over and around them (since we were getting manicure at the same time and standing next to us) to speak to my maid of honor and fiancé. I asked them if they could stop doing my manicure because I was getting anxious from hands pulled around and my feet at the same time and couldn't concentrate on relaxing because I was being talked over and jostled around. The nail technician said "yeah yeah sure will do your manicure at the other station" and brushed me off. She clearly didn't listen to me and I told her to just stop my manicure all together and was in tears because this is the day before my wedding, and my nails will be in photos. I had them wrap up my pedicure and my families and we left to get manicures elsewhere. Let's just say they clearly didn't even care that I was in tears and sent us on our way with no discount or apologies!! Horrible! read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! If I could give them a negative I would. I needed to get a mani/pedi on short notice and decided to try a new salon today as I have a funeral service in the morning. Well, I was told it would be a 10 minute wait it was longer but that didn't bother me as I was a walk in customer. Pedicure was fine not great - but not the worst I have had. I went in with LONG natural nails that I want all to be matched length and shape to the shortest one (which was still extremely long) which I showed the guy and he said ok. He took out a clipper and I said I want it matched and not cut down he said ok don't worry and he basically cut just cut the first one almost down to the base. I said do you understand I didn't want this - he said don't worry its fine. He basically cut them all to match that one he cut and I was in tears literally. I just was going to deal with that fact and never return but then he proceeded to have different shapes and lengths and was so upset I said something in which he could not respond and had NO IDEA what I was saying. Another person finished I paid and came home. I immediately took off the polish which not even and filed all the nails down to the base to match as they still didn't match. This was a waste of money, time and was a public emotional time as I could not believe the experience at all and was extremely upset with no recourse as you can't reattach natural nails. The owner or front desk person didn't even bother to ask what was wrong. Which is customer service 101.I would warn all to proceed with caution, avoid and if nothing is open do it yourself. read more

New, comfy spa massage chairs and plenty mani pedi options including sugar scrub, soy candle treatment and other add-ons. Khan does a great job on nails. The spa has a private party room that can fit up to 20 guests, convenient for hosting bachelorettes, wedding showers and holiday occasions. Really nice feature for large parties - they allow you to bring outside refreshments and beverages. I just moved to Naperville from the city and needed a new nail salon. I'm getting married next month, so it was important to me to find a high quality salon I trust to give me beautiful nails for the big day. Luxe was on the way to my gown fitting and had great reviews, so I stopped in to test it out. I am so impressed with their work! David did my dip nails and he's fantastic. I picked out a soft pink color that I thought would be nice to try for the wedding, and I joked about needing a color that won't blend into my skin color since I'm so pale right now. He brought over the color I chose, as well as one VERY similar, but had slightly cooler undertones. He did a sample on some extra nail tips so I could hold them up against my skin. They looked the same on the desk, but I could really tell the difference when I put them on my hand, and I ended up going with the color he chose! The extra step he took to make sure I was satisfied is so appreciated. I just love how they turned out! I am getting married in the Caribbean, and will need to get my nails done 5 days before the wedding. I was nervous about not having a super fresh manicure. I'm not sure what kind of voodoo magic these guys do,but it's been five days since David did my nails and it still looks like I just walked out of the salon! Normally I love this place, but my last trip wasn't as great. I want to start with pros: -they give you a card to come back within 2 weeks if anything happens to your no chip (mine consistently lasts 3-4) -everyone is very friendly -it's clean and doesn't have that overwhelming nail salon smell -they take their time with your appointment and it never feels rushed -they have a rewards program -tons of color choices -pedicure massage was THE BEST I've ever had Now some cons from my last visit: -both the manicure and pedicure staff members cut my cuticles so far back they bled (and didn't apologize)... this has never happened to me before -the pedicures scrubbed my toes with something so hard she actually took skin off to ends of 2 toes -the pedicure was a little sloppy (didn't notice until I got home...) I'll still return and recommend this place to friends, but hoping next time they take more care. read more

UPDATE: I went to Oksana for a no-chip, and she was wonderful! Very gentle, friendly and always stopped to ask if the color and shape were okay! I think it really depends on who you go to and what you want. There seems to be specific people for specific services. I decided to give this salon a try after seeing the amazing reviews and the excellent work on their Facebook. I scheduled an appointment because I knew it'd be busy. My guest and I were seated right away when we came in, which was great. The staff is very friendly and seem to have a great relationship with their clients. I asked for a pink and white dip ombré. I wanted to keep it simple because I had an event the next day, but after my appointment I had to go home and try to fix the nails myself. I asked the tech multiple times to make my nails more narrow, but he left the tips wide and unflattering. It also looks like only a few of my fingers have a true ombré effect. The pictures show the shape they gave me and the second picture is after I reshaped. I had pretty high hopes for this place, and am a little disappointed in how my nails turned out. Have to knock off a couple stars because I got my nails done by Danny who didn't tell me about the extra charge for the shape. Which brings my blood to boil because my nails were already almond shaped and he charged me EXTRA for doing "almond shape" again.. this is ridiculous! He didn't have to reshape my nails at all or cut down for that matter. I'm furious! If my nails were square shaped and he had to do an almond, fine. But you gotta also tell me ahead of time that you're going to charge me the extra $5. My nails were already in almond shape and he never told me about the extra $5 charge. So I come to the cash register and surprise! I told him that my nails were already almond shape but he made some BS excuse. And I've also told him that Kane whom I see on a regular basis does not charge me that extra for the shape. So I don't understand how this salon even works if their price points aren't consistent. Well looks like I won't be coming to Danny ever again. Also, he didn't do a good job and also cut my skin while filing down my nails. Which if you know hurts like a mother but I chose not to say anything. I was also coughing and I asked him nicely to bring me a water and he looked at me like I was crazy or something. What was so bad about asking for a water? He never initially offered me any kind of drink and all that other nail techs right by me were offering their clients some water. After 2 years of not getting a manicure and a pedicure, I definitely felt like I needed some self-care today on a Sunday. They are open on Sunday which is awesome! I called and I was taken care of in 20 minutes. I got a royal pedicure and a no chip manicure. Leena was amazing and her massage was so luxurious. Michelle did my nails at the same time which saved me a lot of time and my no chip looks awesome too. This place is a little bit more expensive compared to other nail salons, but the atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the service makes it worth it. Very friendly staff, beautiful and clean salon. This was my first time going, and I know this place has great reviews, so I'm going to assume today was a fluke. The guy who did my acrylics was very nice, but I didn't feel that he was doing the best that he could. I very rarely get my nails done so I showed him a picture of what shape I wanted them to be. I thought a picture would explain better than I could. He glanced at it for once second but hardly even looked at what I was showing him. My nails look nothing like the picture I showed him. I felt like he was rushing and just wanted to get me out of the chair. I'm unhappy with how my nails look, and am incredibly disappointed considering how excited I was to treat myself. Like I said, I'm sure this man was just having a bad day, or just wanted to go home. Whatever the situation, I don't hold grudges but I think I'll skip this salon next time. Made an appointment for a pedicure here and I might as well not have. It was 45 minutes past my appointment time before the tech came over. The pedicure was just average and my nails are never cut as short as I like them. If you like waiting and have nothing else to do book an appointment here. Clean looking salon, which always scream GREAT on my book! I like how this place opens up a package of newly sterilized tools. Other salons don't do that and you can see they scrub and dip it in a solution. The place was packed for a bridal team. I am not sure if they are usually this busy but I don't see why not.
