Our first time eating here last night, and it was excellent! It was my mom's birthday and we had a party of nine. We had appetizers, soups and salads, and we all tried different entrees. First time and we were pleasantly pleased. The food is awesome, start with the teriyaki cauliflower they are just terrific. We had the lobster bisque and house salad . Enjoyed . My husband had the sirloin,shrimp and crab cake with a baked potato. He enjoyed and I had the seared ahi tuna. Prices are appropriate and the place is clean, nice atmosphere and the service was great. Jay our server was friendly and attentive. Everything came out at a perfect time. Drove 30 miles to get there because we wanted to try someplace new. We got the idea from a coupon book we bought from a local high school in Greenville. Except they refused to take it claiming they do not accept any coupons at all. I don't understand how they get all the advertising and good will associated with being in the coupon book and then refuse to honor it. If I could give Claudio's no stars I would. My husband's steak was ok but not great. His baked potato was not fully cooked and came out with a mound of frozen butter on it. It was not edible. I ordered the Claudio's carbonara with grilled chicken. The pasta had no taste and the few strips of chicken were dry and almost burned. The garlic bread was also burned. 2 entrees and 2 beers were over $70. We were trying to support a local business. We will not be going back. read more

I ordered a steak cooked medium and my wife ordered the salmon cooked medium well. Both came out way over cooked to the point of almost being burnt. my steak was grey all the way through. Literally no pink at all. they cooked another steak that came out well done. Still no pink in the steak. i very nicely told the server the 2nd steak was over cooked as well. our server was awesome! she was extremely nice and did a great job. Manager did nothing to make it right. charged me full price for everything. I didn't expect a the full meal free just wanted him to acknowledge that there were mistakes made at no fault of my own. read more

We have been back to Claudio's on Main St in Woodruff three times. Excellent service and upscale, welcoming atmosphere. The hamburger, chicken teriyaki bowl, and salmon bowl are our favorites. We tried two desserts, the creme brûlée and chocolate covered mousse (can't remember the name) both were good. Please support this new restaurant as it is a gem! read more

Avoid. They charge a 3% fee for the CONVENIENCE of paying with a debit or credit card. I wonder if they realize customers just take it out of the tip amount? Asinine. Food is meh, you can do better than supporting this place. read more

Had an excellent meal tonight. Steak shrimp and crab cake were perfect. Cheesecake was great. Great service.

Place looks nice but Haven't got to try it. The kitchen closes way before the restaurant posted closing time.

The food was meh!! I would've overlooked the bland food with meager portions but two hours waiting, or rather begging for refills is too much. Our server Mari got most of the orders wrong and at one point disappeared for a good 20 minutes. The guy who came in her place, splashed tea all over the floor and us. Seriously, save your gas, time, and tastebuds. There are other choices nearby that are much better. read more

We visited Claudio's today when we happened to be passing through town. We did not know anything about it - it was open and it looked very nice from the street. It was mid afternoon and we were the only patrons. We're so glad we just happened upon it! Our burgers and fries were burger and French fry perfection! We made a reservation for 8 for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation and were seated immediately. We liked several items on the menu and each got something different to get a good view of the variety. Then the wait began. We waited 45 minutes for our salads. After an hour and 15 minutes the manager or owner came over and said he would check on our food. Our daughter had surgery 6 weeks earlier and was getting tired, as well as my husband's mother who has heart/lung issues and is on oxygen. After an hour and 35 minutes our food arrived- well 7 of the 8. Our daughter's chicken Alfredo had not come and we tried to wait, but all of our food was getting cold so she told us to eat. After all of us had finished and her food had not arrived my husband went to a server to ask her to check on it. Our waiter returned and there was a language barrier about what she ordered. He came back with the ticket he had written and realized what she had ordered. 15 minute later, a little past 2 hours we had been there, her food arrived. The food was good, but if you want attentive or efficient service, I do not recommend it. read more

I have gone to this restaurant about 5 times in the last year and always had a great experience but unfortunately that ended tonight. After being sat down we were not greated with any sort of hello just a "are you ready for drinks" the male waiter(European accent) was cold and barely allowed us to speak before running in that back. The place was relatively quiet he only had 2 tables so there was not excuse to be Constantly RUNNING to back. After ordering soup as an appetizer and our entree abd waiting about 20 EVERYTHING came out at the same time normally your appetizer (soups salads etc) come out earlier then the entree. He saw that all of our drinks were empty and I subsequently asked for refills. Any waiter would automatically know to bring or address the refills. My son asked for Water which he never got . I also asked for an order of fries which were not given when I ordered them initially and asked for more ketchup as only one little tablespoon sized cup for Fries and a Burger. Guess what my son never got his water I never got anymore ketchup and his fries came out as I was asking for the check approximately 30 mins after asking for them. Just as our refills were coming out. At that point we were litterally leaving so I told him nevermind but he never even took it off the bill . The waiter was definitely the absolute WORST I have ever had in my life. He was absolutely preoccupied with being with the back rather then being attentive to his 2 yes TWO tables. Put a real bad taste in my mouth. I'll give it some tine before we go back in hopes this waiter finds other enployment. A real shame . read more

Claudio's Bistro is a 5 star restaurant in a small town. It costs more than Copper River, Outback and Longhorn and doesn't have as many selections. The food is outstanding, however the price is extremely high. I would rather spend the extra gas and go to somewhere that serves BREAD before the meal. It's all in the details and there isn't any details to speak of here. I'm a once and done customer unless the owner rethinks the pricing and modifys the menu to include bread (any kind will do, I'll take some Texas toast) to the beginning of the meal and bread should be complimentary! $40 for a filet as opposed to 30 at other places, $30 for ribeye that is $23 at other places, when that's quite an upcharge for Woodruff and why would you pay more and drive farther from Greenville/Spartanburg? read more
